The Three Magical Words PV Madison Bennett Finished

Madi had been enjoying a lovely walk by the lake with Simon on what should have been a sunny Saturday, however, to no surprise, the weather in the Scottish Highlands had other ideas. Madison sighed since she had not dressed for torrential downpour.

She held Simon's hand as they ran towards the trees, trying to find shelter from the rain, but they were still getting wet. Madison soon saw Simon draw out his wand and cast a spell with it. She was holding onto him tightly as an umbrella appeared from his wand. Madison stood under the umbrella with him and smiled brightly "I couldn't agree more Si, this is much better" Madi said, still holding the hand that Simon wasn't holding the umbrella with.

Three weeks. It was officially three weeks since Madi and Simon had kissed in the Boathouse, cementing their feelings for eachother and officially becoming a couple. Since their kiss in the Great Hall, the whole school was in the know about their relationship, however the craziness had died down since the news first came to light. Now Madison and Simon were just another couple in school and Madison liked it that way. All the fuss and craziness was exciting, but it was nice for it to calm down so that Madi and Simon could focus better on just each other, though since they were in their own bubble it was pretty easy to do so. Madison loved all the little kisses Simon would give her, the letters they'd send to each other, the fact that, when they had a class together, she'd sit on his lap and chat before class started, though, much to Madi's irritation, she had to get off his lap when class did officially start and sit in her own seat by herself.

As she stood under the umbrella with Simon, their faces were so close that their noses were almost touching. Madi blushed as she felt Simon's hand on her chin, breathed in his scent and, as their lips met, Madi felt those fireworks all over again, just like she did everytime they kissed. It was as if their lips were made for each other and neither of them could get enough.

Two weeks ago, Madison had sent her dad a letter, telling him about her relationship with Simon. He was happy to hear the news, he had met Simon before and very much liked him. Her mother on the other hand, hadn't commented on the news as joyfully as her dad had done, though Madison expected that since her relationship with her mother was not as strong as the one she had with her dad. She had promised to keep up with her school work and so far she was doing so pretty well, or as well can be expected when you're in your own little bubble in your new relationship.

Simon pointed out an opening and, when he asked if Madi wanted to check it out, she nodded. They walked over to the opening and found that it was a cave. Not a massive one and thankfully not one that had a long dark tunnel going further into the cliff, it was just a little cave but at least it would keep them dry and out of the rain, at least until it stopped.

Once inside, Simon put his umbrella away and sat down, but Madi, seeing that there was already an old fire setup, got out her Chestnut wood wand, and pointed it at the little campfire, "Incendio" Madi said and a nice strong campfire was born. Madi smiled at what she'd made and, after putting her wand away, sat between Simon's legs as she snuggled into him, already getting dry from the heat of the fire. "mmm there, now we have somewhere warm and dry until the rain stops" Madi said, though looking outside, the rain wasn't stopping anytime soon, that was ok though because she was loving being in a little cave with her boyfriend, just the two of them

The cave had en earthy smell, as most caves had, but not an unpleasant one. Naturally, they were not the first ones here. Someone had left behind a campfire and there was even some dry wood in there. Before Simon even had the chance to think of 'Lumos', Madison had lit the fire using the Fire-Making Spell. Clearly, they were getting more resourceful as young witches and wizards, making an habit out of using magic whereas they before would have used flashlights and matches.

"Nice one," he said and removed his jacket. "I bet it'll be warmer in here in no time."

He put his jacket on the ground so that they had something to sit on. Madi made herself comfortable in his arms and he gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. Suddenly, he felt grateful that the rain had surprised them, otherwise they would probably not have found this place. Simon always appreciated a little adventure and this was certainly more cosy and interesting than just a walk along the shores of the Great Lake.

"How are your feet? Did they get wet? We can always dry your socks in front of the fire. I don't want you to get cold."

Then he remembered something. This morning Simon had finally received a letter from his parents, telling him that Madi would be very welcome to come and stay with them during the Christmas holidays. When they met after breakfast, he had been so absorbed by her lips and her scent that he completely forgot to mention it, and when he was about to bring it up earlier, they caught themselves in yet another interesting subject, as so often happened.

"By the way, I have some news for you." Simon caressed her hair while he spoke. "I actually got a letter this morning. From my parents. And –" (He paused for suspense). "– they'd be happy if you want to come and visit us during the Christmas break."

Madi giggled and shook her head "you're so sweet Si, I'm ok though, my feet didn't get wet" Madi said, laying her head on his shoulder as he kiss attacked her face, ending with a long kiss on the lips, dancing together in sync as they always did. When the kiss ended, Madi rested sat between Simon's legs, with her back to his chest as she relaxed with his arms around her. "This cave is so cute Si, the next time it rains like this, we'll know to run straight for this cave" Madi said with a smile, kissing his nose as she giggled.

Madi turned her head to the side so she could look at Simon and smiled at him. When Simon told Madi that he had news for her, she got excited but also a little nervous, what if the news is bad.... Madi thinks to herself, but shakes that thought out of her head and listens "Ooo really what is it?" she asks. When Simon tells her that he got a letter from his parents, the nervous feelings in her tummy get worse and she's almost pouting at Simon, scared that the news is gonna be bad. She relaxed as he caressed her hair and continued. When he paused, Madi pouted again, why is he leaving me in suspense, ahh i wanna know... Madi thinks to herself.
When Simon tells her that his parents would be happy if she came and visited them for Christmas break, Madi got very excited! "Really?? Yes yes yes please!! Madi said, hugging Simon as he pulled her in for a kiss. "I may have already sent my dad an owl asking him if I could visit you during the Christmas break and he said yes!! He said I can go straight from Hogwarts with you back to your place and, if your parents will let me, he said I can also stay for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day since my mum is away working, we'll celebrate as a family when she gets back on the 28th" Madi said, looking at Simon. She really hoped he'd say yes, that meant they'd get to spend ages together before she had to go back home! "Please say yes Si, it means we'd get to spend longer than a weekend together, just us two, outside of Hogwarts, doesn't that sound exciting?" Madi asks with a massive smile on her face as her blue eyes sparkle brightly

Simon laughed at her excitement. He was glad to hear that she had received such a quick answer from her parents as well and that they approved. That meant that they could go to Edinburgh as planned in about two months!

"Really? Well, I guess it settled then! We're spending Christmas together.” He chuckled. “Are you sure you don't want to be home on Christmas Eve, though? I mean, you're very much welcome to spend your Christmas with us, of course! I'd love to have you there with me on such a special holiday. And then I get to see your face as I give you my Christmas gift. We’re gonna have so much fun, Madi...”

This was great news. It could rain all it wanted outside the cave. Nothing could damper his mood at the moment. Butterflies danced in his stomach as he thought about being with Madi outside school again, but this time as boyfriend and girlfriend.

"Are you sure you aren't cold?" he asked and looked at Madi’s pink top.

At least she had a warm jacket on her. He put his arm around her and pulled her in for a kiss. His other hand landed on her waist. As their lips met, his hand continued in under her jacket to her warm back. They kissed for a minute or so and when her lips parted, he instinctively opened his mouth as well and then it just happened. He felt her tongue against his, unsure of who took the initiative. His heart beat raised and once again, it was like nothing else existed except for them. He was totally enchanted by the soft and wet sensation of their tongues. Simon was not sure how to do it but everything seemed to come naturally. Either they were both naturals or they were just perfect for each other, he thought. When their lips left each other, he almost felt dizzy, as if he had just woken up from a very good dream.

"I'm mad about you, Madison Bennett," he whispered, looking at the reflection of the flames in her eyes and the dancing shadows in her face. "I love you."

The words escaped his mouth before he had even planned to say them. This was his most genuine, true emotions speaking. He loved her. He really loved her. Now, he was letting her know that as well.

Madi blushed and nodded "Yeah I'm sure Si, I'd rather spend our first official big holiday with you. I know we are Si, it also means we get to wake up on Christmas Day together hehe" Madi said with that ever present sweet smile.

Madi nodded but still snuggled into Simon as she said "Incendio" on the fire again to make sure it didn't go out. The rain and wind weren't stopping anytime soon, so as long as they stayed inside the cave, they would be dry and warm.

As Simon put his arm around her, Madi felt those amazing butterflies in her tummy. He slipped one hand onto her waist and Madi turned around to face him as he pulled her in for a kiss. His lips tasted like the Vanilla and Cinnamon buns he'd most likely had for breakfast and for reasons Madi didn't fully understand just yet, she wanted his lips even more. She felt his hands against her back and, as their lips parted, without really thinking, just being so in the moment and with her heart racing, their tongues started dancing together and it was a feeling Madison had never experienced before, but it was a feeling of deeper connection with Simon that she loved.

As their lips parted, she felt Simon's hands on her warm cheeks, which was probably from a mixture of her blushing and then gentle warmth of the fire, but then she heard Simon whisper that he wa mad about her. "I'm mad about you too Simon Tilia" Madi said with a smile as she leaned in and they kissed gently once again before Madi heard three words, three special words that made her heart skip a beat and the blush in her cheeks deepen. "I love you too" Madi said as she saw the joy in Simon's face when she said it back.

If other people saw this, they would see the rain and wind outside along with two people sitting in a cave, but to Madi, it wasn't about the rain and wind, it was about the fact that right here, in this moment, her, and the boy that she had the most genuine and strong feelings for, had just said I love you to each other for the first time. This cemented their new relationship and deepened it in a whole new way. She truly loved him, this boy that she'd been best friends with and who was now her boyfriend, she could see their whole future in his eyes, Madi was experiencing that feeling you get when, the person who loves you, cares for you and will always protect you shows their true emotions to you, it makes you love them even more. That's the feeling Madi was experiencing and it felt so amazing!!

She looked at Simon a bit longer before resting her head on his shoulder. They didn't need to say anything to each other, anything that could have been said was said in those three magical words.
