I am assuming you mean 'does' and yes it does but you need to have yourself set to be able to be seen for a couple of days before it will take effect. it is a reciprocal item so you can't be sneaky and 'spy' on others by turning it off and on real quick. You either see and can be seen or you cant see or be seen.
Looks like this when opened. You can see how many are in an area and then when you hover over you see a name as well as an 'action' that they are doing.
