The First Encounterance PV Cleo Cabello Finished

Ruby watched the anger on Cleo's face and tried not to let her own fury show. Who did Cleo think she was? What did she think she knew? Why did she think she could do this? Who did she think Ruby was? Yes, I am manipulative, and I don't doubt that's what she's thinking now, but I had good intentions. I wanted to be friends with her, I really did. I wonder what she's thinking… I wish people would voice their thoughts of hatred sometimes. I have no doubt she's misinterpreting me. That's no different from most anyone else. When Cleo turned and walked away, Ruby smirked. "This is not the end, Cleo," she whispered. She let out a very small laugh that was nearly inaudible. Stupid Gryffindors, she thought, and then caught herself, surprised. Two of her cousins that were Gryffindors were two of the most important people in her life, and the girl by the lake wasn't bad either. Ruby let Cleo go. If she wanted to go and would be like that, then Ruby was more than happy to let her walk away.

Ruby stuffed her hands in her pockets and wandered away, down to the Great Lake.
