It seemed as if everyone was focused on their own niffler and the treasures it had the potential to unearth. Perhaps now would not be a good time to try and go mingle with the others. He didn't want to upset them when they were trying to concentrate and focus on something, despite what others might think of him. As Roscoe dug up something, he brought back some tinfoil with him. Tone smiled as the niffler came back over to him, looking dejected, and he pet it on the head. "Don't worry about it, Roscoe. You'll find something good next time around! I'll always pick you, we'll be friends from now on." He said. "You don't have to worry about not being chosen again. As long as I'm around, I'll always pick you!" The pink haired teen said, trying to reassure Roscoe. Tone wasn't playing the game for items, he was there to interact with others and bring them happiness. At least he was making it fun for Roscoe, right? As the next round began, Tone pointed out a few places for Roscoe to dig and decided to let Roscoe choose one of his own again too. The first square would be J19, the second would be B18 and the third would be C17.... Maybe this time he'd get lucky and bring something back! |

════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════Reuben was quite excited for the niffler hunt. He always found the animals cute and loved to look at them. As he entered the area, he was given a choice for which niffler he would like to use for the hunt. He was quick to choose Roscoe, for he loved the blue shade.
"Hey little one! Let's dig up some treasure, shall we?", he said gently petting Roscoe. To his surprise, Roscoe seemed to scuttle to the extreme corner of the field as he started digging the square J20. Reuben smiled, hoping that he would find something valuable.
The Niffler Hunt felt like a treasure hunt to Reuben, only there was no 'X' to mark the spot where the treasure would be. You just had to keep hoping that your niffler would dig up the right spot. Reuben did not mind if not, though. After all, the niffler was only an animal and this game was just there for fun. What mattered most was participating and having the courage to accept failure and try again, which was something Reuben was willing to do. He looked at Roscoe as the niffler dug up the square, his leg shaking slightly because of nervousness.

Sir Merlin the Third had been keen to dig up some more things. It was a chudley cannons badge, quickly dug up and excitedly retrieved to his master. The nifflers was specked with dirt, but it continued, moving away to dig at another spot. It revealed to be the Comb of Vanity. Desperate to be a good niffler, it moved once more and tried his luck at the third spot. It was unfortunate that there was nothing there.
Meanwhile. Roscoe was digging up a plain key. Who knew, it might have to come useful later. Then, seemingly wanting to find a better gift, and found a chudley cannons badge, gleaming with the emblazoned mark. Then, it scurried off to find another gift. It didn't return with bare hands, a Montrose Magpie Badge. Hopefully the seeker was a passionate quidditch fan. And perhaps smelling things somewhere near, it ran off to return with nothing.Sir Merlin the Third has dug up a chudley cannons badge and a comb of vanity.
The last niffler, Roscoe again seemed to be eager to find something. Sniffing something out - perhaps it was some gold? It ran off into a thicket of trees, appearing back with a galleon. If some people looked closely, they found out that it was a lepruchaun gold, a clever fake.
