Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 5
Summer camp is here! This is an unofficial game set up by Hiro "Tone" Bakugo! Being the friendly, overly energetic, and bright cheery sunshine that he is, he decided to set up a fun game for everyone. Taking place on a day that was relatively quiet with nothing to do, he thought a Spin the Bottle game would be fun to offer to anyone passing by at the time! It was a short and simple game and had the potential to bring people closer together. The best type of game to get friends!
This game takes place IC on Tuesday, July 11th, 2023 and has a little bit of a twist at the end.
EXPLANATION

›Students are separated into small randomized groups (8-ish per group) for ease of moderation and to limit the chaos of mass threads. There are 2 kinds of groups, Y1-Y3 and Y4-Y7.
›Each round, students will (ICly) take turns spinning a bottle to determine a partner (determined by me OOCly with randomized rolls).
›Round A: Players will have 1 week to RP their character's action. God modding is NOT allowed. There are 2 actions to choose from: kiss/retreat. Selecting 'kiss' means you kiss your partner on the lips, cheek, or hand. If you kiss, you obtain 3 good beans. If you retreat, you get a random roll by me to see if you obtain 1 good bean or 1 bad bean. Bad beans count for nothing, you just got bad luck. Good beans are saved until the very end of the game, where numerous prizes are revealed that you can choose to purchase with your good beans. Please keep track of how many good beans you have at the bottom of your post. If you forget to do so, it's fine, I can figure it out at the end.
›Round B: Once players RP their character's action towards their partner (it's always the first name listed), targeted students will then choose whether to accept the kiss or retreat. Remember, the point of the game is to get as many beans as you can! But if you retreat, you will also have a chance to obtain beans too. If your partner doesn't post in time, you will automatically get 1 good bean, so you don't feel like you're missing out on the fun. If your partner asks to kiss and you retreat, both of you are considered to have retreated and a roll will be done for your bean.
›Round A and B repeat in this way with a newly randomized assigned targets. Students will always have one week to submit their posts.
›Failure to post by a round's deadline will result in the assumption that the character froze up and declined to continue. They will be removed from the game. You can always rejoin though!
›All IC rules still apply and IC consequences are possible depending on the situation. Site rules and rating will also always apply. All actions/descriptions must comply with them.
›Prizes will be announced at the end of the game.Reducio›OOC End Date will be September 1st, 2023. This is when the game will OOC officially end.There will be 10 different things to choose from, which will be revealed 1 by 1 later on. I will start a Prize Thread after the game is over and will reveal the lowest rank one first (along with how many of that item I have). You will post in the Prize Thread stating that you want the item up for 'bid' if you wish to obtain it. You will have 7 days to post stating that you want it. I will assign the item a # and then will do rolls for the people who posted they wanted it. Whoever is closest to the # of the item will win the item! If there is more than 1, I will reassign a # and do rolls again for each one until all of them are gone. If someone gets the same #, I will reroll to establish a winner. If no one posts stating they want the item, I will move on to the next item.
The first item revealed is the lowest/cheapest and the last item revealed is the highest/expensive. But IC I think all the items would be fun to use in RPs, so don't just wait for the highest/expensive item to show up! Plus, what you get depends upon how many beans you have too. If you only have 7 beans (from never kissing and always retreating) you won't be able to purchase the highest rank item. So, get as many good beans as you can, so you will have lots of options to choose from! The highest amount of beans you can obtain is 21. Also, don't worry if you end up not winning any of the 10 prizes offered. If you don't win anything, you will be given an unknown consolation prize at the end, which you can either use/keep or sell for $.
Any beans left over after you win prizes can be exchanged for the item I am giving out as a consolation prize for those who don't win anything. The currency rate is 3 beans = 1 consolation prize item. Unfortunately, if you have less than 3 beans after claiming prizes, you won't be able to get anything extra. ┏ It was a very nice morning during the summer time. The game would take place directly before lunchtime. Why was this? Because it was totally set up for the participants to make new friends during camp! If you managed to do so, the two of you (or more) could head off and have lunch together. What more could one ask for? The relationship didn't have to be romantic by nature.
But of course, it had the potential to be if you really wanted to go that direction. However, the point of this game was mainly to close the distance between participants and have them be able to open up and get closer to their partners. Maybe make some friends in the process! Tone hadn't really expected to set up a summer game this year and as such he wasn't prepared.
Still, it didn't deter him in the least! Tone was known for being very adaptable and could always turn things around if given enough time to think for a bit. He'd also been unable to resist the temptation of bringing a large group of people together into one spot. It made it easier to see some new faces and possibly some older ones too. At least people would have fun!
When they arrived at the location Tone was holding this unofficial summer camp game, the first thing they would see would be five large circles that looked as if the grass had been burnt in order to make the circles. Within each circle, a unique mat was placed down, which perfectly fit inside the circle, almost as if it had been cut to fit into the circular format here.
Group FIVE would see their unique mat was a lovely light shade of pink, along with some white and red cherry blossom flowers/petals. Very pretty.
ReducioAs people started to arrive, the pink haired teen would welcome them and show them towards their mat circle. Directly in the middle of their mat, a large glass bottle could be seen. Obviously, this was the bottle the participants would find themselves spinning as soon as they got settled into their circle. Eventually, Tone clapped his hands to get their attention.
"Now that everyone's arrived, let's get started, shall we? You've come because you're interested in participating in this version of Spin the Bottle. But this game has a twist, I've added something new to the mix this time, which are beans. There are good and bad beans. Good beans you collect and store until the end of the game. Bad ones really do you no good at all."
Tone went on to explain the rules of the game and how at the end of the game you could turn in your good beans for certain prizes if you got lucky enough to obtain one. He also made sure everyone realized even if they weren't able to win any of the offered prizes, there were consolation prizes everyone who didn't win anything would get. There was something for everyone, regardless.
Plus, if there were any good beans left over from winning prizes, they could also turn those in for some of the consolation prizes. If they had enough good beans left that is. "I also set up some ice water and a few platters of fruit, cheese, and nuts you can snack on during the game if you wish to do so. Each group should see their platter sitting on top of a makeshift stump-table next to their circle." Tone told them all and then took out his wand.
"Let's get this game started! First round, start!" He said and started to cast the Green Sparks Charm. "Verdimillious!" Tone incanted and some green sparks exploded up into the air from the tip of his wand, signaling the beginning of the game's first round of participants. Who would come out with the most amount of beans at the end of this? Only time would tell and the actions of each participant. But regardless, everyone would have fun here!┗ ┛

Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 5
Ah, spin the bottle! Alexander was sure that it was a pretty nice game to spend a dreadfully hot summer day. Therefore, even though his inherit coyness told him it was imperative to stay away from such a game, he managed to overcome his hesitations. One of the strengths that made Alexander emotionally in equilibrium was none other than his inclination towards carelessness. Previously, in many situations like this, after a short period of resistance, "What difference does it make?" had been the phrase to save his day. And once again, that very phrase led his way into the campgrounds to play this game.
The game was organised by a Mahoutokoro student, meaning Alexander, if ever needed, could justify his participation by considering it a proper means of international magical cooperation. He left his crimson cabin and arrived at the place seemingly a bit early. Some people were already there, but apparently, they were not the whole team. Nodding his head slightly to Hiro, he slowly seated on the pink mat. Rules were explained, and the bottle was placed in the middle of the mat - there was now no excuse to postpone the game.
Alexander was the first one to spin the bottle. His hand, with an incontrovertibly visible curiosity, reached for the bottle, and spun it, neither too fast nor too slowly. Having spun around at an average speed over the pink mat several times, the bottle finally stopped. Alexander lifted his head slightly to see the face of the person at the end of the bottle. Upon seeing that he was a boy, Alexander's young heart felt a blessed relief. In an age where everything was fluid to the end and 'all that is solid melts into air', Alexander had, well, perhaps a little boringly, strictly defined orientations.
He smiled gently at the boy the bottle was pointing at. According to Alexander's quite subjective assessment, the boy, it had to be admitted, had a kissable face. Nevertheless, Alexander was not bold enough to reach for another player's lips just in the first round of the game. "May I?", he asked, pointing to his own cheek to show his intended move.

Olli stepped out of his cabin into the fresh air that cloaked the camp grounds. Though he wasn't crazy about admitting it, he was actually enjoying his time at hogwarts, and hadn't spent his entire days handsomely brooding, but instead signed up for some of the activities on hand.
His main interest for Spin the Bottle was focused on, like every other thing the hormonal boy did, the girls with him. But it was a game of Spin the Bottle and Olli was never one to turn down a dare.
Their mat was a bit pink for his taste, but it was no matter.
Instead of watching the boy who was currently spinning the bottle, he was distracted by two of the girls in his circle. If they were to look at him, he would duck his head and smile- faking embarrassment and shyness as he was caught. But before either of them could glance his way, he looked up to find a boy moving across the circle towards him.
The smile etched upon his face would have dropped into an expression of disgust, in the seconds he couldn't control it. The boy across from him was tapping his cheek, and Olli nodded his head, allowing him to have his turn.
When it was done, Olli would wait patiently for his own turn, crossing his fingers that he landed on on of the girls he had been looking at earlier.

It was a beautiful morning that day, the sun shining through the half-open windows of her cabin bringing the heat and smell of summer alluding to Ying to go out and discover new adventures outside. And that was exactly what she found! Hiro Bakugo the one and only had the brilliant idea of making a spin the bottle game. At first, Ying hesitated, what would her father and mother think of this? To not mention her brother...who would be at the camp too, she crossed her fingers wishing he would never find her playing that game!
"Hi all!" Ying happily greeted those already present, "How are you Hiro? How did you get this idea?" She asked playfully to her Mahoutokoro friend. Looking around, she saw the mat destined to her group, it had a beautiful pink design with cherry blossom flowers, it reminded her of home and her smile just turn into a more sweet and warm one. There were some familiar faces in her group, Fang Yun-Xin, little Fang as Ying affectionately liked to call her, Cicely Woods the girl she met ironically in very similar circumstances, Ritsu Okazaki the boy with who she had played Quidditch and she was glad she had contain herself to not curse at him during that time, Alexander Harland, was still a mystery although they were sharing a cabin during that camp. The others she had never heard about, but surely was super excited to meet!
At her turn, Ying spun the bottle watching it spin until land on a very friendly companion. The dark haired girl looked at her friend with a grin, she felt lucky she had started with someone she already knew and felt a little more comfortable with, "In the name of the good bean, can I have your hand Miss Fang?" Ying asked jokingly.

Daphne found herself sitting on the grass, her heart beating a little faster as she observed everyone spin the glass bottle. The bottle spun and whirled with a vibrant glow, making its way around the circle before eventually coming to a halt, pointing directly at Daphne this time. Her eyes widened in surprise and a soft blush graced her cheeks, which were usually flushed with warmth. She looked up at the girl who had spun it, her smile both shy and genuine. Her heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and nervousness, as she had never been in this situation before. Getting a kiss from someone was entirely new territory for her, but she was determined to be a good sport and embrace whatever came her way.
Whether Cicely decided to go through with the kiss or forfeit the turn, Daphne knew she wouldn't mind either way. As the seconds ticked by, she held her breath, waiting for Cicely's decision while her fingers gently tapped against her own knee anxiously. Whatever happened next, she was ready to embrace the moment, after all the lips weren't the only place to kiss and she assumed Cicely would go for her cheek if she decided to do it.

Lets get this over with.
Estelle muttered to herself as she stalked towards the place. in which they were going to play spin the bottle.
Okay, first of all, whose idea was it to let a bunch of students- most of them, probably below 14, including herself- play a dangerous game of spin the bottle. Sure, this was summer camp, and it always tended to get a little wild, but still! Estelle didn't join because she had any particular desire to play the game, she simply wanted to see how many under-fourteens she could count.
Also because she needed something cool to tell her dad once she got home.
A sick feeling swirled around her stomach when she thought about Austin...honestly, she didn't know what to think of him. He cut off all communication to her, rejected her calls and decided to send her an owl and suddenly everything was okay.
Well, guess what? It wasn't. It wasn't okay at all. Despite all this, Estelle felt obliged to reach out to her dad. Although when she did, they didn't have the same connection they had before. It felt almost...guarded. Estelle didn't even know how to put it lightly.
She arrived and sat on a rather pink mat, and didn't pay much attention as a boy-older than her- started to explain the basics of the game. The only thing that caught her eyes were the green sparks that rose into the air. The game had become and she didn't even notice.
Estelle realised she had zoned out and shook her head slightly, trying to clear her mind. Estelle locked eyes with the girl who just spun the bottle and it landed on...
Me. It landed on me.
Estelle was hoping the other girl would forfeit. But she wasn't counting on it, but she started to crack her knuckles. It was more of habit than anything an the anticipation was killing her.

| And Spin the Bottle came on July 11th, which Xin had dreaded the moment she scanned the rules。 Which consisted of kissing a stranger. KISSING? And perhaps, KISSING A BOY? The mere thought was enough to make Xin vomit. How she had ever signed up? Blame it totally on her brother. Two days ago, the girl had sent a letter to Chen, asking whether she should enter the game, as there were free prizes at the end. Instead of giving his sister the corrects advice, Chen had irresponsibly described the stupid kissing stuff as ‘an opportunity for you to make friends and have fun’ Which was why Xin stood in Group 5, fuming at her brother. “I kill you for this,” she seethed, “You see if I don't.” Unfortunately, hating Chen won't do much good now, so Xin crossed her fingers tightly and PRAYED that this wouldn't get worse. The bottle spun and landed - It landed on her. Right in the bull's eye. A Chinese girl walked towards her, and Xin was quick to recognize as her friend Ying, whom she had met earlier. “In the name of the good bean, can I have your hand Miss Fang?” “Oh, um... Sure!” Xin was quite amused by the elder girl's joking manner and accepted her gentle kiss. “I'm really lucky to be paired up with someone I like, you know.” the girl laughed, feeling quite relieved, but dazed at the same time. “It would be a nightmare to be kissed by that boy, @Julia Jenkins as Olli” sneaking a disgusted look at the boy and continued whispering, “I caught him staring at me during the game in that, you know, in a lecherous way, 色狼 lech” Pausing to shake off the negatives, Xin smiled shyly at Ying. “Just glad to be kissed by a friend!” she whispered cheekily. | ||

The Spin the Bottle was a harmless game really, and she wasn't going to be kissing anyone on the lips for certain. Angelique walked in, a casual outfit worn but perhaps some people took a moment to stare at her Lovely Creature but she just smiled to those and nodded in greeting.
Near the last round, after no doubt most people had went, it was her go. She spun the bottle slightly half heartedly, perhaps even began doubting to have willed to play this game. Thats when it landed onto Estelle. A red haired foreigner too. Angelique gazed at her for a second and noticed something about the way she was expressing herself. She seemed to be reluctant to play, and was cracking her knuckles.
How was she meant to do it? Was she even meant to do it now? She didn't say anything, and surely a kiss on the hand would be fine. But she needed consent from her first...
"May I?" She gave a small tilt of her head indictating Estelle's hand.
If she agreed
Angelique would slowly walk towards her, and take her hand gently before giving it a soft kiss. Not the way some people liked to do it, it seemed very small compared to the others. She would then give Estelle a small smile and return to her seat.
If she did not agree
Angelique would try not to look downcast about the obvious discomfort she caused to the girl. Was she really that ugly, unfriendly that they didn't like to even touch her? She would sink back in her seat, putting on a jolly-good show face but inside she felt disapointed.

It was a little obvious to Estelle that the other girl felt intimidated by the young Wampus Cat.
In all honesty, it wasn't her intention to make Angelique feel like that. But it was kind of...natural? Saying it was an unconscious action was more suitable. It was like breathing. She inhaled positive energy and exhaled negative energy- but it wasn't like any of the positivity was getting to her.
Estelle gave Angelique a thumbs up, which meant that she was okay with the proceedings. At least she was okay enough to continue. Estelle was kind of determined to stay in the game. She was super competitive that way.
Angelique walked up to Estelle and took her hand.
"May I?" The girl asked.
Although slightly reluctant, Estelle gave the smallest of nods. Angelique took her hand and placed a soft kiss on it and moved back to her seat, giving Estelle a small smile. Estelle returned with a tiny grin, and only those who ever saw the young girl smile would recognise that as a smile.
It wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be. But she still wouldn't have minded being in the sidelines and watched the proceedings. She kind of still stood by her point on let a bunch of under fourteens play spin the bottle. At least she was going to the next round now. Stupid competitive energy.
