It happened so soon and so fast! Ying even didn’t had the opportunity to adjust her position in her broom. She felt like a little golden fish suddenly sent to a shark tank. Was because she went in the wrong time or because the other team had really no mercy for the opponent’s seekers?
She felt it as soon as she flew towards the place that Namusobiya had pointed to her, it came to her like a giant punch in her left side taking all the air from her lungs and an awful pain that made her lost all her strength and balance on top of the broom. Soon, there was not a place or something to hold on into, and the ground was getting closer when gravity was playing it’s part in the game.
Ying knew about the risks, she didn’t came to a broom game not expecting the danger. But one thing is knowing about it, witness things happening, another was being the one who was falling after being hit with an iron ball. Luckily Agata was watching and was fast enough to save her from a visit to the hospital wing so soon in the game. As quick as the eyes could see Ying fell into the Peruvian girl’s broom. First she gasped for air, then when she was able to calm down and have a few breaths, Ying was finally able to speak, “Thanks!” She said in an airy voice towards her teammate.
As if it wasn’t enough to be hit another member from the Asian team also went to blurt her. Ying looked at the boys sending daggers with her brown dark eyes. This is part of the game, a voice of her conscious spoke to her before she could say something she could regret after the game. “Come on, let’s get this done!” She muttered to herself and to Agata. Losing motivation and focus could never be the answer, the young lion would fight until her last breath to catch that snitch!

Sara hit a bludger at someone on the other team, knocking her right off her broom. "Amazing job, Sara! You did great!" Ginyami yelled at his fellow fifth year, pleased to see the beater in action. Since he was a second-string beater on their school's official quidditch team, he didn't think Sara usually got much of a chance to shine like he did now.
Knowing Sara, though, Ginyami doubted his friend was proud about what he had just done even if he had every right to be. That was one reason he wanted to give positive reinforcement however he could just then since Sara likely needed it.
Ginyami would have flown up beside him to reassure and congratulate him some more, but the game was still under way. Someone from their own team was soon knocked off their broom as well. He frowned at this, wondering if there was something he should do to help, but just then a voice calling his name caught his attention.
"HEY, GIN-SENPAI! It's getting real boring back here at the hoops. These guys ain't even trying to contest the Quaffle. Wanna come up here and join in the REAL fun?"
The wicked grin on Aryaan's face was soon matched with Ginyami's own. "I thought you'd never ask," he answered silkily, eagerly interested in what the Hexwizard Champion had in mind. He flew toward him cautiously, keeping an eye on the other team's keeper just in case.

Reducio- In the role of Keeper, if the Keeper effectively blocks an attempt to score rather than obtain possession of the quaffle they can kick the quaffle at the user who attempted to score. This must be declared at the time actions are submitted. This would have damage like a bludger using an accuracy roll to hit and the user's strength score to determine the amount of damage done. If the quaffle hits or misses the target, a quafflegrab the next round would be necessary to determine which team has possession of the quaffle again.
- In the role of Keeper when you attempt to block your goal, if your opponent somehow has advantage on attempting to score a goal, that is negated (they only have their normal single roll against you).

Now with two penalty laps under her belt, Kissa was eager to dive back into the action of the game. Her jaw was set into a tight grimace and there was a bloodthirsty glint in her dark lidded eyes as she swooped high over the chaotic pitch. The replacement seeker's fall was unfortunate, to say the least, but such were the risks of a good game of Quidditch. Quite frankly, Kissa would be dissappointed if her first official game didn't end with at least one broken bone (though ideally, that would happen to the one of the other team's players).
Zophyr shouted out his loud encouragement, and Kissa resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Her fellow beater was right to try and keep up morale, of course. But tayb Allah good God too much positivity became sickening. Just fly well? No need to be so happy about it.
Thankfully, the Ying girl didn't seem too rattled by the drop. Good. Maybe she'll be tough enough to prove a worthy replacement of Namusobiya.@Pax Zhang | ACTION AS STRATEGIZEDReducioA B I L I T I E S
Broken Broomshaft In Quidditch, on a full hit with a bludger, if the user is knocked off their broom there is a 25% chance that the broom is shattered as well. If the broom is shattered, the opponent will not be able to use the broom for the duration of the match. If they are caught by an ally, they would have no broom to return to and would have to ride with an ally or remain on the ground for the duration of the game.
Calming Presence Allies gain a 10% chance to auto-hit their chosen target. This does not stack.

Nimbus 1500 In the role of Beater, if you hit an opponent with a bludger the bludger will then ricochet off that user and target a second opponent of choice (must be declared, if not declared the target will be random and can be an ally but not yourself).

He let his eyes linger on her for a moment and then returned his attention to his own team members. Yan was doing well and was quite energetic, which was good to see. Mahoutokoro was definitely a force to be reckoned with. Tone was quite proud of his school and wouldn't have changed schools for almost anything, unless all the people he knew transferred to a different one. But that kind of thing would probably never happen, it was almost impossible. They were sweeping Ugadou's team but it wasn't much of a surprise. Mahoutokoro was the kind of school who always tended to fly under the radar for any kind of official events. They got underestimated all the time which in turn led to the downfall of whoever their opponent was. It was a good tactic to use and had done them well and hopefully would continue to do so. Tone couldn't help but like how Akira and Yan were getting along up in the skies. Maybe Akira should join the quidditch team for SNACBASH. It might help bring them all closer together. But Akira didn't like brooms or being up in the air, the pink haired teen knew this too well. Still, he could at least entertain the idea for the length of the match. It was kind of interesting to sit on the sidelines. Tone rarely got a chance to do this since he was always on the first string when Mahoutokoro had a match. Being able to watch from a distance and see the moves done by both sides was quite beneficial. He could see what their opponents did, as well as spot flaws on his own team, without having to worry about himself at the same time. No one would try and hurt him or knock him off his broom while he was doing these things. And he didn't have to worry about losing control of his broom in the process too. Or focus on aiming the bludgers at his opponents. It was around this time Hiko responded to his earlier words that he'd said to him. The nearly fourteen year old had almost forgotten Hiko hadn't responded. He nodded at Hiko's words. "I'm looking forward to seeing how the current players do. After all, if they show promise, maybe they'll get drafted onto the team later." Tone said, glancing back up into the sky where the game continued to rage on. As Hiko asked him a few questions of his own, Tone looked back over at him. "I'm usually one of the first string beaters on my team. But I wanted to sit out for now." He told him. "There was a reason for this." "I wanted to get some insight into both sides without having to worry about myself." "The only way to do this is by sitting on the sidelines. Of course, I'm on the second string in case something bad happens." When Hiko asked how he felt about who was flying right now, Tone considered for a few seconds. "If you mean in my position? Sara's one of my good friends and he's usually on the second string but I think he's a force to be reckoned with for sure. As for Botan, he's usually on the broom racing team, so I'll have to see how he plays up there a bit." "I can't really form an opinion until I see him play for awhile." The thirteen year old said with a nod and looked up as Yami flew around and started to talk to Yan. Yami still hadn't joined any sports teams and Tone was determined to get him to join one! After all, quidditch had a few positions still open... for now. It would be great if Yami could join them! The game continued and quite a few things started to happen. Sara managed to kick Ying off her broom, although she was caught by Agata. That had been lucky for them. Ritsu ended up making Ying repeat her chase phase. But he got caught and made to go on a penalty lap. Soon after, Mkhaku kicked Miharu off her broom. Although, Akira saved her right in the nick of time. Thankfully, Mkhaku was caught and made to go on a penalty lap too. Ironic that two players were going on penalty laps and one was from Mahoutokoro while the other was from Ugadou. It would be interesting to see what was going to happen next. |

Clearly he suited this game, so many penalty laps being had, only difference is he hardly got caught. A smirk escaped his lips, if he could get into this game, maybe he could finally even out the score. At the moment he was on a loosing team, something he couldn't have. But not much he could do being over on the bench. Maybe some people would take this chance to cheer on their team.... but not him, that was beneath him.
Barely really paying attention, he might have seen someone falling off their broom, if it was one of their chasers, he would soon find out, otherwise he was catching some nice sun right where he was at. Worst case, he left the game a little more tan, and maybe denying he was apart of this train wreck of a team. he started looking over his broom, checking the shaft, and taking this chance to make sure it was in tip top shape. He pulled out a rag, and started to Polish it, why waste a good chance to tend to his broom.━━━━━━━━━━━━Broom | Swift Stick

It was like she was waiting for this exact moment. Her one sole duty this game was to save a falling comrade, and save she did. One second everything was fine, people flying and whipping fast on their brooms and the next, their new seeker was down falling through the air towards the excruciatingly hard ground. And the Peruvian would know. She'd fallen down enough times from her broom and temple walls. Angling her broom downwards, she sent herself into a dive to catch the girl. Reaching out, she caught the girl before her hard touch with Mother Earth.
She could feel the girls deep breathes as she tried to calm herself, and Agata hoped she was alright. They needed her for the win. Swerving out of the way of another rogue attack, she wasn't fast enough to avoid knocking brooms with one of the Mahoutokoro players. Scowling as she was knocked off-course, she glared daggers at the boy. Muttering a Peruvian curse to herself, she twisted to see if her passenger was alright. The girl was battered and probably bruised with the hit she had taken, but she was still had fighting spirit. Agata's lips turned upwards at Hui-Yings spirit. She seemed to have a fire lit within her that Agata liked. She nodded in response to the quiet fighting words, responding with her own, "Let's go!" She twisted back around to face forward, and streamed ahead to get out of the path of another oncoming attack.Stats:

To Pax, it was becoming clearer and clearer to them that the quaffle was simply just being abandoned. Tigist was dutifully still blocking the rings, but no chasers would be gunning for the quaffle this time around, instead choosing other actions. Akira would be returning Miharu to her broom, and Mkhaku and Ritsu would be completing their penalty laps.

With the rest of the game, things were begin to slow and draw to a close, with less attacks directed to others. Sara would aim a bludger at Agata and Ying, but Kissa would be making sure that wouldn't happen, hovering around them and skilfully dodging the bludger itself. Ginyami would also blatch Mkhaku with success, watching him tumble from the sky. But Pax wouldn't miss that.

They'd have thought the teams would perhaps have learnt they couldn't get away with cheating.

With a narrowing of their eyes (they weren't fully sure what just happened but they didn't think it was done within the rules), they blew their whistle sharply.

Mahoutokoro had won the practice match and Tone was happy about that, since when his team won... ...well, it was always a cause to celebrate. Even though there had been some foulplay, some of which had been caught and some of which had not been, it had been a decent practice match. After all, it allowed the players to gain more experience and develop their skills too. It also had the added benefit of making sure no one was overly competitive, as this match didn't really count as it was an unofficial one. Miharu was returned to her broom and surprisingly clutched the snitch in her hands. Since when had that happened???? Tone had a sneaking suspicion that Miharu hadn't caught it on her own. But as the referees didn't spot any cheating, it counted as her having caught it for Mahoutokoro. So they had won! Akira and Yan were hovering near her, so the redhead was fairly certain one of them was responsible for this. Knowing Akira, Tone was putting his money on Yan, who had no issues upon doing something sneaky like that. He wasn't entirely sure how he felt about this but what mattered was they had won this match. Even if it was an unofficial one now. As long as nothing bad happened because of this, Tone was fine with taking the win for Mahoutokoro. He smiled at Akira and went over to congratulate everyone on his team for winning against their opponents. Maybe they could all get some food and celebrate together, a great bonding experience. |

This was a game to remember, despite him not having played in it. Unless cheering on your team counted as playing in the game. He tried not to be angry about his benched statues, but it wasn't easy when someone his age was playing instead of him, when he could be a star. A star. He didn't really dislike the girl who played, but her title made him furrow his brows in distaste. And it didn't help that Botan got to play while he didn't. Imagine what his family would say, really. The star grandchild, benched while the prankster was in the air. He hoped they never caught wind of that, or the school would surely be hearing something about it.
After only a few moments of hesitation, he got up with Tone to celebrate with his teammates. "よくやった！"1 He cheered, going over to the team. He hadn't been paying too much attention to what was happening in the game, focused on his thoughts, but he thought that the snitch catch had been quick. He'd heard of matches going on for much, much longer, and a match this short was probably owed to a good seeker and a large amount of foul play.
