Hearing about Madison getting a candy with earwax flavor made him grimace. That was why he did not like Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. Simon was not a fan of surprises. He preferred knowing what was going to come. Buying candy that potentially tasted weird was something he did not understand.

They halted in front of one of the windows and Madison looked outside. It was a magical view with a sharp contrast between the warm light of the sun and the blueness of the sparkling snow that covered the roofs and the courtyard.

"Hogwarts really is beautiful. I've really missed you Si, it's almost felt wrong being on holiday without you, I missed having someone to talk to, joke with or go on walks with, though the chocolates really did help, thank you""

"No need to thank me, Madi. But yeah, I wish I would have been there with you, other than just sending you owls during the break. Hoax didn't mind though. He actually seemed quite restless and a bit depressed when we left Hogwarts."

Another chilly breeze traveled through the corridor, snuck under his shirt and gave him goosebumps over his belly, back and his arms.

"Nah, what say you? Let's go somewhere else. Somewhere warmer than the corridor."

Madi giggled at Simon's facial expression when she was talking about the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans that her older brother James had pranked her with. "Lunch sounds amazing, I also can't wait for breakfast tomorrow, i've missed those Cinnamon and Vanilla buns so much" Madi says with a smile as she turns around to look at Simon. She drinks some water and then the two of them continue their conversation.

Madi blushed slightly and smiled, "Aww well I'm better now that I have you with me Si. Hopefully I get to see Hoax again soon, I'm sure he misses me, or maybe he misses the little treats I give him each time he visits" Madi says with a giggle.

Madi nodded as she moved closer to Simon and looked around the corridor. "Hmm, what about we go into the Study Room, there won't be anyone in there since it's Sunday and it'll definitely be a lot warmer than it is out here in the corridor" Madi says with a smile.

Madi and Simon are soon walking to the study room, Hopefully it will be a lot warmer in here than it is out here in the corridor, though I hope there aren't any pixies in here Madi thinks to herself.
