Shall We Meet Again?

Sir Stephen,

I apologize for taking so long to write to you. Partly it was studying for exams and partly it was, admittedly, nervousness that something would go wrong with its delivery again. So I do hope this letter reaches you in a timely manner and reaches you well.

I hope your own preparations for exams are going well. I find that I like transfiguration more and more as time goes on and I can do with potions less and less. Haha I do get decent grades in both classes, though, so I expect to do well on my exams. Especially with the fact that Hufflepuff is suddenly very eager to win the house cup and the other students are pressuring us all to do well.

I really did have a wonderful time with you at the Royal Ball, the fiery interruption included, even. The whole thing was quite the adventure and I had a good time watching the Knight's Tourney, as well. I think you have fully convinced me of your side that it is much more fun to have a solid plan of at least attending with someone, friend or more, than running at it solo. I think one of Pringles' slogans was 'You can't eat just one', yes? Haha.

That being said, I had not really the greatest time at summer camp last year, aside from making friends with those in our tent. I think partially due to the fact that I didn't really know anyone outside of our tent and had a hard time connecting with anyone at the various games I participated in.

Truthfully, I was going to forgo camp this year, but it seems that the planning committee has been gathered and there are whispers about various events that sound like they would be a lot of fun. I've also heard that it will be located here on the Hogwarts campgrounds where the other schools stay when they visit. In the cabins.

I was thinking about the ball and how maybe if I had some more solid plans with some friends at the camp to look forward to, I would have a better time.

Um... that is to say, will you be going this year? And if so, would you like to do one or two of the activities with me? I've heard that they're talking about some kind of crafting activity and there is always a sporty activity to do like the Knight's Tourney or Capture the Flag.

If you are not planning on going, that is fine as well of course. I would like to write together and hear of your summer adventures. My family and some friends intend to spend a few weeks in Japan in August and I am looking forward to that.
