If it’s not to far away, letting her sleep and then talking to her in the morning might be a good idea. Usually if I do that, my mom will apologize for (in this situation) yelling at me and that’s my cue to apologize for whatever I did.

Another idea is to find a funny way to apologize. Maybe write a note, and turn it into a paper airplane. If you’re good at drawing, you could draw a comic with you apologizing for what you did. My brother uses his RC car to deliver her a note (he’s six so he can barely write).

I do that sometimes
