Your name's Seven? pv Seven Closed

─────Homework. Probably the worst part of Hogwarts, or any school, really. It wasn't the fact that homework was hard and boring, the terrible thing about it was that it took up so much time that Seven could spend reading or doing something else fun.

But no, instead, they were going to the library to study. Stepping through the large door that lead to Seven's favorite place in Hogwarts, they began thinking about the homework they had left to do. They had only finished Defense Against the Dark Arts, or DADA, and they still had a lot left to do.

Seven found a table with a chair beside it and began to take their things out of their schoolbag. They placed a small stack of parchment in the center of the table. Then they put a quill next to it and a bottle of ink in the corner. That was almost all they'd need to complete their homework. There was just one more thing. Another stack, sort of like the parchment, but different. Books. Lots and lots of books. They were just schoolbooks, nothing that Seven found too interesting.

After setting out everything, they began their Astronomy homework. Astronomy was a good subject, but the homework was often torture.

Cassie sighs of annoyance as she goes through the History of Magic questions. Just then, another Ravenclaw boy comes over to sit not far away from Cassie. Cassie glances over and sees that he is struggling with his Astronomy homework. Astronomy, she thinks, is my favourite subjects. How can someone struggle with Astronomy?

'Hello,' Cassie says, trying to calm herself down. 'I am Cassie Jiang, and you are? You are struggling with Astronomy, aren't you? How come? Astronomy is so easy. It is my favourite subject. I guess your academics are not good are they? Anyway, what is your name? Do you need some help from me? I can teach you Astronomy.' Although she is very annoyed, Cassie cannot resist her love for Astronomy, she just want to do some more!

She walks to the boy and looks at his homework. 'Look at this problem, you can just find the answer in the notes the professor gives us in class. Have you taken careful notes?' Looking at the boy, she takes out her own. 'Look, it is here. You know, most answers of the homwork can be found from the textbook or from our notes. Do take careful notes. Now, can you find the answer for this yourself?'

─────Seven ordinarily would've been overjoyed if someone came up and started talking to them. But there were two things that made them less happy. Firstly, they were trying to complete their homework, and secondly, the girl seemed a bit obnoxious. Okay, that was a strong word. Seven inwardly sighed and attempted to listen to Cassie Jiang talk about how amazing she was.

"I don't need a tutor," they snapped.

That had been a mistake. Seven hadn't meant to say that. They had no idea what had gotten into them. Sure, Cassie was annoying, but that didn't mean she deserved to be treated in a mean way.

"Sorry," Seven apologized. "You're being really helpful. My name's Seven Finney."

They really hoped that Cassie didn't care that their name was a number. They hoped that she would quickly move on either leave or talk about something else. Seven just needed the subject to be changed. Quidditch? Maybe they could ask if she had a favorite team. They were fairly sure that she played for Ravenclaw.

They dipped their quill into the ink jar and leaned over the piece of parchment. They didn't want to make eye contact with Cassie. Not after what had just happened.

Surprised, without agreeing her to help him, the boy snapped at Cassie, saying that he does not need any help. Well, well, this boy, she thinks, is your study better than mine or do you think you can work out that stupid problem yourself? Cassie returns to her History of Magic Problems, feeling a bit dizzy of the words she has already wrote, well, she cannot quit, or she will not get all Os in her exams.

The boy speaks again, introducing himself as Seven Finney. 'Seven?' Cassie snaps back with a cold laugh, 'Well, well, you consider this as a name?' After all, this boy was being so annoying. 'You must be a muggle-born right? Wizards never get their children such stupid names.' Cassie actually does not want to say such harmful words, neither does she want to laugh at the boy nor does she dislike muggles or muggle-borns, but she does not know why, this makes her feel better and she cannot control herself.

'Seven Finney, are you sure you can figure that stupid problem out yourself? I mean, it might be difficult for you, but it is stupid for me. If you don't, you can ask me for help.'
