Following a quick stroll down to the campgrounds with their belongings - or getting a portkey directly to Hogsmeade, students were escorted directly to the Campgrounds and registered again. It was, at this stage that they were given the rules for the month. These were pretty obvious but they were stated again by Professor Jensen, simply because she did not trust students to listen. She also wanted to be sure that the visiting students did not have the excuse of being 'unaware' of the rules. Where necessary, the accompanying adults from each of the schools would repeat the rules in their school's language for people who didn't have English as their first language.
Camp rules were very simple. Obey the curfew, follow usual school rules, don't wander off into the forest, don't be a giant jerk - you know, all of the usual things. Failure to comply would result in a detention, or worse, banned from attending future camps.
Eight log cabins provided lodging for campers, each one with a beast-bearing flag for which they were named. Three were the Avian cabins: Augurey, Occamy, and Phoenix. Across from these were the three Equine cabins: Thestral, Kelpie, and Unicorn. At either end were two cabins intended for adults only but for this year's festivities repurposed for student use: the Hippogriff and Dragon cabins. Those creatures occupying the enchanted flags mutely flexed in a constant show of "friendly" competition: beating wings, clacking beaks, stamping hooves, and soundlessly tossing their heads.
Every structure appeared deceptively humble in size on the outside, while the interiors were enlarged by extension charms, making them wide beyond means and quite comfortable. These were fully furnished with curtained bunks, personal chests, dressers, wood-burning stoves, and plush floor rugs. The layouts were strikingly similar to the dorm rooms back at the castle. Rather than having House themes, however, they featured nuances of the beast on their flag.
During registration, they also all received their cabin allocations. Students were then escorted to the cabins by an adult and given some time to put their bags down, secure themselves a bed and settle into the accommodation that they would be staying at for the month. The first event was ready too - students were able to attend the sugar fair once they had settled in.
The group of students that arrived here would be the members of the Dragon Cabin.

The greatest tragedy was forcing the Professors out of this cabin [Image Link] Large open seating, this former bar area has had those barrels of Jensen's favorite wine replaced with pumpkin juice and she is none too happy about it - and she made a point of telling Lear her complaints.
There was plenty of dragon motifs that graced the rustic walls and furniture. [Image Link]. This cabin also has a kitchen and a private bath, as it was previously one of the teacher's cabins. The sitting area is comparatively small to the rest of the other cabins, but many found it cozy. [Image Link]. The cabins were recently renovated to accommodate the student population, so large private suites were replaced with sturdy, but plain bunk beds [Image Link]. Yes, students who got this cabin (and Professor(s)), the majority of the faculty officially hate you.

Gideon was excited about his placement. The Dragon Cabins first of all sounded cool as heck. Second, he did not have to spend the summer with his brothers or his cousin. He really hated bunking with them. hey always did the same thing - watch out for Giddy. Is that a knife Giddy? Stop poisoning that girls food Giddy. It got tiresome and tedious dealing with them. But new summer. New... well, nothing else was new, this was the same old Giddy. he had gotten taller by a few inches but he was still shorter than many first years. His mop of blonde hair, bright, sparkling blue eyes and wide toothy smile remained characteristic of the outwardly amiable boy.
Gideon had with him an oversized trunk. It was heavy despite the magic used to defy muggle physics. As he entered the room he would let out a big laugh for such a little boy. He had hit the jackpot. A kitchen, a private bath. There was potential here. Wonderful, terrible potential. He would slide with a grunt his trunk next to one of the bunk beds. He wanted the top bunk because of course he did. He would climb the ladder and make claim to a central, top bunk. This gave him relative proximity to other sleeping campers he reasoned.
There was much to do already he determined as he rushed out of the cabin, planning to return before the other campers had located their cabin. While he was gone, he would "collect things." The collection was of course simple, a snake slithering through the grass that was probably not poisonous. he would not really sure. It was not like he was a magizoologist. A big spider meandering about. Some centipedes from beneath a rock. He would give all these noble creatures homes beneath the covers of the other camper's beds.

And Summer Camp is finally here. Raizel had been feeling excited for this certain one as this marks her first ever Summer Camp. Just thinking all about the fun things that they could do and perhaps, maybe even get the chance to do some dueling if possible, if there will be dueling games like the ones that other students host back in Hogwarts for fun. Aside from that, she is looking forward to watching some Summer Sports Games. Would've been nice to participate in them, especially the dueling one.
Anyway, the Gryffindor, after getting most of her things from her dorm and stuffing them all in her trunk, went on her way to join the others being escorted to the campgrounds while taking a quick look at the note of her cabin assignment. Going through the list, there wasn't anyone that she seems to know, well, aside from a couple of few like Kim Aoki whom she had met a couple of times before and a fellow duelist too. Duvessa Ember whom she had faced a couple of times in some games and Amaris Knight, a fellow Gryffindor and perhaps a couple more that she forgot to list out. The other names weren't that familiar for her but perhaps she had seen some of them before in the corridors of Hogwarts. Hopefully she'll remember once she sees them. While it is quite exciting to meet other people, she is nervous about it. After all, the girl takes time to warm up to those that she had only met. Here she is hoping that her shyness won't get the best of her.
The outside wasn't as exciting as she thought it'd be, with the cabins looking rather small but the flags that were waving and signifying the name of the cabin was kind of cool. Her father had talked about enchanted tents before and she swears these cabins have the same enchantment as those.
It was astonishing to see the inside of the cabin that Raizel was assigned too, looking like one of those medieval taverns that you'll often see in those fantasy story books. A bar area, rustic walls adorned with dragonic markings to fit the theme of this cabin and then a sitting area that looked rather small yet cozy. To be honest, Raizel prefers small or cozy places so this is certainly a cabin for her.
As much as she'd like to relax in the main lobby area, it's better for her to secure her place to sleep. Off she went to find the sleeping area of the cabin, looking at the plain looking bunk beds, thinking if she'd want to sleep on the upper one or the lower one. In the end, she settled her downs near the side of one of the bunk beds near the corner, claiming the lower part of it since it looks cozier than the ones on top. She went to lay down, resting her eyes for a while while thinking on what she could do for now.
There was already another trunk in the room when she gave it one last look and she probably had missed whoever entered first here. Hopefully, they aren't the type who would give her much trouble.

A long year of fifth grade finally gone, and the summer holidays came. The once boring and somber air was quickly replaced with a crazy and excited atmosphere. No more school! No more classes! Is there anything better than that?
The answer to that is yes. There is something better than that - Summer Camp! And it isn't just a normal summer camp, it was one set in a magical school, namely, Hogwarts. It marks Xin's first visit to this amazing school, and her millionth summer camp - maybe it isn't that much, must have over counted at some point. That pathetic Mabel Carter had insisted on letting Xin go to summer camp every year possible, makes her strong and socializing apparently. But the girl knew better, Mabel just didn't want Xin at home to interrupt on her scheming, probably on marrying Mr Fang and kick the rest of the family away.
Following the rest of the students filtering into camp, Xin looked at the parchment where cabin assignments were written. That didn’t prove much help, as Xin didn’t know anyone in the magical world yet, Strictly speaking, the girl never even knew a world like this existed until now.
As the cabins came into view, Xin couldn’t help but feel a tad bit disappointed. She had been expecting a more magical looking accommodation, not these creaky wooden cabins exactly like muggle ones.
However, her thoughts of disdain soon disappeared as the small girl made her way into the cabin. The inside of the wooden house proved to be much, much more elegant and spacious. Sheltering several bunk beds and a kitchen - finally Xin can cook now - the inner view was absolutely gorgeous! Honestly, just living in this dorm was considered lucky by this girl, and if the cabins are this great, then who knows what amazing experience summer camp will offer? Xin got excited just thinking about camp.
There were only a girl, probably older, in the cabin when Xin entered. Eager to have some company, the girl bounced towards the older student, despite the heavy load trailing behind.
“Hi!” Xin waved and smiled cheerfully, “Would you mind if I claim the upper part of this cabin?” she asked with a hopeful note in her voice.

July 1st, 2023@Raizel Voltrouz @Fang Yun-XinAfter Pyxis had sufficiently puked his brains out away from the first year group, he returned to their escort while wiping off any remnants of his embarrassing moment. He didn’t know what traveling by portkey meant before today, but his ride to Hogwarts would ensure that he’d never forget. The word portkey had originally sounded fun to him, but he planned to avoid them at all costs now. Later on, when someone told him about the normal transport being a train journey, he would fall to his knees and weep.
When he’d calmed down a bit, Pyxis was given the okay to start moving towards his cabin. He looked over the list and obviously recognized no names. Regarding the group of first years who traveled with him, he hoped that at least a couple of them were in the same cabin. The boy was only here for a few minutes and had already clocked the large number of people milling around, clearly older than him. He supposed it would have been the same had he been enrolled in his normal secondary school, but the worst he was expecting from a bunch of private school posh kids were swirlies and the occasional cuff around. In this place, who knows what could happen?! Hexes didn’t sound fun or harmless, he was sure of that.
He lugged his belongings towards the cabins, falling behind the group he’d been moving with. His skinny arms and lanky body did little to help his struggle with the trunk, and he wished he’d packed lighter. That, or he wished his butler was around to do the heavy lifting for him. Pyxis was glad to be away from the stifling air of the hotel, of course, but there were a few benefits that he would miss dearly while at magic school, and having a butler was at the top of that list.
The boy’s slower pace allowed him to take a long look at his home for the next month. The cabins were quite humble and very pretty with their moving flags that caused Pyxis to hit the ground once again after laying eyes on one. However, the castle - his future school - loomed in the distance, and Pyxis found himself grumbling at the thought of roughing it out in the woods when he realized he could be attending summer camp in a castle. In front of the massive structure, the cabins looked like peasant homes, all identical and hilariously small, especially considering the number of students Pyxis had seen walking about. He arrived in front of the Dragon cabin a few moments later, soaked in sweat from the admittedly short trek.
Wondering if wizards partook in deodorant spells, he entered the cabin and its interior threatened to take him to his knees for the third time that day. It’s bigger on the inside! Magic really was something special. He beamed at the cozy and medievalesque decorations, suddenly excited to belong to the Dragon cabin. Not only was it one of the only animals he knew of the eight - what the hell is a Hippogriff? - but the theming suited him quite well. The common area was warm and inviting, and pumpkin scents wafted from the bar in delicious waves. If Pyxis got too anxious from everything going on outside, he could see himself curling up and spending the month here.
Thankful for at least one thing today, the boy dragged his trunk over to the bunks and lodged them in the designated area. Retrieving a crocheted blanket and a dark blue journal, he tossed them up onto a top bunk that was next door to one already taken. Once he claimed his spot, he looked over to the two girls already in the room and approached them, leaving the critters lurking beneath his sheets for discovery at a later time.
“Hello!” Pyxis smiled, excited that the girls looked to be his age. He recognized one of them from the portkey travel - a fellow first year! - and tried not to blush, remembering his mortifying throw up session after landing at the campgrounds. When he shook off the memory, he continued, “My name is Pyxis. Pyxis Hellebore. Nice to meet you both! Are you guys first-timers as well?”

Sylviane Cordélia Adèle Favreau was back at Hogwarts. Mon dieu.
This wasn't her first rodeo in the Scottish highlands, nor would it be her last, but every encounter she had with this school and their students made her less and less inclined to come back. Of course, she was here now with one intention: to beat the crap out of them in their summer events. Sylvie had heard there was broom racing on the agenda for this year's summer camp, so immediately she had put her name on the list. However, the fact that this was a summer camp had conveniently slipped her mind when she had agreed to participate in the sporting events. Anyone who knew Sylviane or her family would know that camping was one of the last things they would ever do; frankly, Sylvie was certain that unless their lives were at stake, none of the Favreaus would voluntarily slum it out in the wild. Why should they, when they had their beautiful manor?
Thus, she was already in a gloomy mood when she arrived at Hogwarts. As if the universe was taunting her, it only soured more when she found out her living arrangements. Perhaps it was forward of her to assume that schoolmates would be placed together in cabins, but it was to her horror that Sylvie discovered this was absolutely not the case. Instead, she would be forced to spend the month living with random students from all of the schools. "What a nightmare," she muttered to herself. It was horrible enough to have to share a cabin with her schoolmates, most of whom Sylvie viewed with disdain, but finding out that she would be placed with any and every sort of plebeian was almost enough to make the French girl portkey right back to Beauxbatons. If not for the fact that Favreaus did not quit anything, she would have turned around immediately and left. Instead, she took a deep breath, rolled her shoulders back, smoothed a hand over her shining hair, and scanned the list looking for her name.
At least she had been placed in the Dragon Cabin. Sylvie wasn't sure what the meanings or intentions behind the different cabin names were, but dragons seemed like the most regal of the options. She did not recognize any of the names on the list, meaning that she was most likely going to be the only Beauxbatons student in the cabin. Hopefully that would mean people would leave her alone, stick to socializing with their own school. Of course, Sylvie had no problem radiating a demeanor that clearly read don't fuck with me. While it worked for the most part, her sheer beauty was enough to draw people closer, so she was unsure of how any interactions were going to go.
She stepped into her cabin, surveying the area. The walls were wooden and rustic, threatening to succumb to the tacky dragon motifs that were plastered all over them. The idea of sharing one big room of bunk beds made Sylvie want to throw up, but as she continued looking around, she found solace in the fact that there appeared to be a private bath and a kitchen. Not many people had arrived yet, which made it simpler to claim a sleeping area. Sylvie dropped her bag onto the bottom bunk of one of the bed set-ups, unzipping it to grab a quill and some parchment before hastily climbing up to the top. She hoped that people would get the hint that she would most definitely not be willing to share a bed with someone.
"Well, I can't wait for this to be the longest fucking month of my life," she grumbled as she settled on top of the sheets. Letting out a long sigh, Sylvie picked up the quill and began writing.

Jack was pretty pleased with the cabin he was assigned to as he entered it with his trunk, admiring the interior. It definitely had a medieval fantasy feel to it and he enjoyed that even if he'd heard it might not have been as 'fun' as some of the other cabins like the unicorn cabin with its trapdoors and crawlspaces. This had been a cabin for adults before, after all.
As he went to go find a bed to claim, he noticed the bunkbeds and was reminded of his bunk bed back home that he had shared with Ruka as well as the one he had shared with Flash in the Severus Snape Dormitoy. He decided to take a top bunk since that was what he was most used to and placed his trunk on it, noticing another trunk on another top bunk nearby. He wondered who its owner was.
Below, a girl (Raizel) rested on a bottom bunk and seemed to be resting. Jack resolved to be quiet so as not to disturb her, but then another girl (Xin), this one pretty young-looking, showed up to ask if she could claim the upper bunk to the older girl's lower one.
"Shh, I think she's resting," Jack whispered to the younger girl, carefully climbing down from his new top bunk to explore the rest of the cabin. As he got down, he winced at the loud greeting of another young student who didn't seem to have noticed that someone had been trying to rest on one of the lower bunks.
"Hush! Someone's trying to sleep in here. I think we should all move out of the bedroom and head somewhere else, don't you?" he asked, trying to guide both younger kids with each of his arms to steer them out of the room. He wouldn't have been surprised if the girl with her eyes closed was already awake by then, though.
Jack glanced up when another girl (Sylviane) started grumbling in another language - French, it sounded like to him - and sighed. "Hey!" he whispered sternly to the girl (Sylviane) on the top bunk. "I think someone's trying to sleep on one of the lower bunks, so keep your voice down."

@Amadea CampbellSummer camp always brought a little bit of apprehension from the newly fifteen year old boy. He never seemed to know if it would go well or if things would go terribly wrong. Thankfully, unlike many of his other experiences at Hogwarts, summer tended to be rather peaceful. Maybe he was just blissfully fortunate to be assigned to the places that he had been assigned, or maybe this was one of the few times of the year that he tended to find himself in the least amount of trouble, but summers were generally the time of the year that the kid didn’t have to worry about dolls or shadowy slugs attacking children, nurses going crazy and casting dark spells, or generally any especially ‘evil’ things that ran rampant without any regulation or reason. That had not been Piérre’s experience thus far… though perhaps that would yet change as times and the environment continued to change around him.
With an extendable suitcase in tow and with his cat snugly about his shoulders, Piérre wiggled a finger at his cat cheerfully and ‘pspspsps’ed at him. Slung from his shoulder and at his right hip was a similarly enchanted satchel that he usually used for the odds and ends that he found worth picking up and checking on at a later time… though admittedly many of the things that went into the darkness of his satchel never again saw the light of day if the boy just so happened to forget about them (which quite unfortunately happened more frequently than not). Dressed in his (almost) notorious “gondolier” outfit comprising of a red and white striped shirt and black slacks, Piérre was ready to face the first day of the summer now that he had finally moved out of the drafty castle and was finding himself in the much more comfortable campgrounds surrounded by woodland. Oblivious, perhaps, to the things that could be lurking in the darkness (or that was the darkness) closing in on all sides, Piérre assessed the exterior of the Dragon cabin and the banner that depicted the cabin mascot. Flying about like an enormous scaly terror, there was fire that danced all around it without harming itself or the canvas that it was embroidered on.
What an interesting looking piece of material… who knew that even fabrics could be enchanted to have moving pictures upon them? Maybe that was something worth looking into someday…
But this was beside the point, and instead Piérre found himself more interested in the fact that firsties that had yet to be sorted in the incoming September were starting to find their ways towards their cabins as well. Well, the boy had better make sure that he found a place to stay and make his bed before too many of the good spots were taken. With that in mind, the boy tripped over the doorframe as he entered into the cabin, pitching once before spinning and snorting a bit at the finicky entrance as he began to assess the roomings that he would partake in for the next month or so (he imagined).
Dang! This place reminded the boy more of a hobbit hole in the imaginings of JRR Tolkien than a simple cabin; and of course it was most natural that some sort of expanding charm had been applied to its perimeter, a fact that was reaffirmed by the fact that it was indeed ‘bigger on the inside’ than it had appeared on the exterior. Like science fantasy being explained away like magic, it was fascinating to live firsthand. It was even more fascinating knowing that the last time these cabins had been in use it had been for the professors and the guardians that were watching over the other cabins in the circle of the campgrounds, and the rich interior that reflected tastes of the mature and the bold certainly expressed that point nicely. Almost half-tavern and half-inn, yes… Piérre would like this place, most definitely! There was so much to explore, so much to see and do…
He wondered what kind of experience that Romeo was having right now, actually… There was no doubt in his mind that his brother had likely gotten a cabin that had fit his tastes just as much as this one had managed to appease Piérre’s own. His last venture had been in the Occamy cabin, which while pleasant, was rather too squeaky clean for his taste. At least he had met the most intriguing caretaker of Hogwarts when he had been there; the enigmatic and curious Windowpane… otherwise known to most of the rest of the school and staff body as Kit Paine. Truth be told, it had been at a time when he had needed the company the most… right before he had almost entirely vanished from the school’s public eye for almost the entire year. The time they spend bonding over drawing and self-expression had been quite pleasant, and while Piérre was quickly discovering that drawing or sketching was not really his forte, perhaps he had discovered that his knack for mischief and his nose for trouble were.
So, there he was, enjoying the sights and the sounds. A few people had already set up their trunks and had claimed their beds already. The kid hoped that a top bunk was still available. Hey, he couldn’t help the fact that he liked being a bit off the ground; it simply felt more natural to be up there. He liked looking down at others going about their business and observing the things that they did from the safety of the high ground. It also made it a lot more fun when he jumped down and crashed whatever conversation they felt like having, inserting himself into the situation whether they liked his presence or not. Nosy or not depending on how others took his presence to mean, Piérre liked a good show and a lot of good company. Watching people get flustered or upset was simply part of the entertainment value.
Tossing his own expandable trunk down at the base of a bed somewhat near the middle of the bunks but just slightly closer to the cabin’s closest exit, Piérre glanced up at the upper bunk and gave out a satisfied sigh. Yeah! This ladder was nicely made, sturdy, and the mattresses and sheets looked clean enough to be used. Good enough for him, to be honest.
Piérre looked to his cat with a smile, feeling the feline’s tail lightly strike against his back as the beginnings of a purr began to rise in Figaro’s throat. “What do you think, Figaro?” He asked blithely to his familiar. “You think it’s good enough to live in for a month?”
With a cracking meow, Figaro responded to his boy’s assessments with an affirmative, rubbing against Piérre’s neck with just a hint of fang in the mix as he purred his delight. Piérre giggled and watched as an older girl came whirling in [Sylvaine] with a seeming vengeance and then claimed a spot with a storm of foreign words. Piérre’s green eyes glittered at the grumbling, half with curiosity and half with daring as he felt the urge to walk up and just start talking just so that he could gauge how angry she was, even as a familiar-looking red headed boy [Jack] began to chastise her for her evidently naughty language in that foreign tongue. Ohhhh… so she was one of those types, was she? This would be interesting indeed. Why yes, the boy liked to poke the sleeping dragon; he hadn’t died yet, so what was the point in being a coward?
Raising a brow, Piérre fixed Figaro with a ‘serious’ look as he unwound the feline from around his neck and held the critter out at arm’s length for a moment. “Now. You be a good boy, okay Figgy? Why don’t you hang out on the bed and get yourself comfortable. I’ll be with you in a minute and then we can unpack everything: including your favorite catnip toy.” At the mention of ‘catnip toy’, Figaro’s left ear twitched and he responded with a pleased; ”Mrrrew!” and Piérre smiled again with a nod. “Yep! You’re gonna get hiiiiiiiiigh!” A giggle. “Not too much, though. Moderation, right Figgy?”
With that, the boy put the cat on the higher bunk that he was planning on claiming and then refocused his attention on the oldest of the collected group thus far. The younger ones around him he didn’t know well, the most familiar one was the girl that had recently joined the dueling team [Raizel]. Perhaps the boy would make introductions to the other two [Fang & Pyxis] at a later time.
For the time being, though, the girl was of more interest to him, as he skipped his way across the lovely plank floors over to her. Peeking over the top of whatever it was that she was writing on, Piérre smiled lightly as his eyes began to glitter with the beginnings of mischief unhinged. “Whaaaatcha writing?” He asked with a bubble of mixed curiosity and giddiness in his tone. “Something got you grumpy already? You can’t do that, it hasn’t even been an hour yet!” A rather defined Italian accent would be prevalent even in his English, perhaps something that the Beauxbatons student would be familiar-ish with considering that the school seemed to favor the romantics and the languages of students that came from those romantics. They had a long summer to go… and it was more likely than not that the longer the month dragged on the more the boy would have to do his best to ensure the continued cheer of all the individuals that had a risk of contracting cabin fever during their temporary stays.
Meanwhile, Figaro would start poking through Piérre’s sheets, ruffling the outer covers a bit and sniffing around… if Gideon had indeed planted serpents, scorpions, frogs, or spiders inside of the Britalian’s bunk, it would be the familiar who would be first to notice them; for better or for worse being up to the intuition of the individual considering the fact that the cat had keen claws, decent reflexes, and piercing teeth, and had a proven track record of being unafraid to use all three in tandem to ensure self-defense.

It was just her a couple of minutes ago and suddenly, there were more people arriving all at once, more than what she had expected. While she thought that they'll leave her alone knowing that she was getting a bit of sleep, Raizel could still hear people trying to talk to her which is quite surprising.
Just before she could even answer or react to it, another loud greeting came, almost making her wince. She isn't a fan of getting her sleep disturbed and while she was expecting for things to get pretty noisy around here once a lot of people had started arriving, knowing that they are in the sleeping area would at least tell them to lower the volume of their voices. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter. Although one person is trying to shush the noisy ones and she was thankful for that. At least someone cares enough.
Raizel shifted her position on the bed, grabbing her pillow and placing it on top of her head before letting out a muffled annoyed groan. Annoyed, yes, but that isn't a good first impression. She sits up on the bed slowly, hugging the pillow closely and turns to look over towards the noisy bunch with a sleepy look on her brown colored eyes. "Whoever asked for the top bunk, feel free to take it if it's still free." She spoked up before yawning and giving each of the people in the room a quick glance. Damn, most of them are people that she doesn’t know or she just can’t remember… aside from the boy (Piérre) that had made his way towards another who was busy writing whatever it was.
From what she could remember, he is one of the older duelists of her house. Perhaps this is a good chance to get to know him if she gets a chance anyway. Raizel hopped off the bed once she had placed down the pillow that she was holding. Who was the one introducing themselves again? She can’t tell and that made her scratch her head. “Well, anywho. Hello.” She greeted them with a wave. Ah, there were too many people and she was starting to feel a bit shy but at least she managed to get a greeting out. “Raizel Voltrouz by the way, just uh, in case introductions were needed?” She grinned.

| As soon as Xin said the words, she regretted it. In her mind she was shouting out insults at herself. How could you interrupt someone who's resting? the girl was furious and ashamed with herself. Before she could apologize to the girl - who later introduced herself as Raizel - however, more and more people started filling the dormitory. “Hello!” A boy's voice almost made her jump, why is she becoming so jumpy? Xin immediately snapped into her usual shy demeanor, she wasn't really comfortable around boys. “My name is Pyxis. Pyxis Hellebore. Nice to meet you both! Are you guys first-timers as well?” The girl's lips curved into a slight smile as her eyes moved up and down on the boy. Obviously judging him, what she always do when someone is talking to her and decides whether she wants to reply or just pretend to be deaf. In this occasion, Xin decided that the boy seemed nice enough, so replied, “Nice... Nice to meet you,” the girl nodded awkwardly, not catching Pyxis's eye. She was always like this around a lot of people, especially people she isn't familiar with. Secretly, she was quite the eager girl when hanging out with her friends, talking nonstop and always brightly lit by a large smile. However, that incident totally changed her personality into an introverted and quiet girl. It was hard to believe that long ago, she had been an extroverted and carefree child just like everyone else. Shaking away all her negative thoughts, the girl smiled attentively at Pyxis. This was her first time at camp after all, she shouldn't be moody like that! “Fang Yun-Xin,” the girl pronounced quietly, before adding, “Upcoming first year.” That was all she managed to muster out and diverted her gaze back on the floor. And completely ignoring that girl who soon after came in (Sylviane), spatting rude words all over the place, what a nightmare! “Hush! Someone's trying to sleep in here. I think we should all move out of the bedroom and head somewhere else, don't you?” A much more older boy came and tried to steer Pyxis and Xin out of the bedroom. The girl was immediately reminded by her brother, Chen. Always lecturing his little sis on what she should and should not do. However, the boy had almost succeeded, unlike Chen's attempts which ends up far worse, until- “Mrrrew!” A CAT? Xin nearly squealed with excitement as she tiptoed as fast as she could towards the cat and squatted down to stare at it. Although not so fluffy, the cat looked extremely smart, and cute of course. It took the girl everything to not squeal and give it a large hug. “Erm, my I pet your cat?” she asked the supposed owner (Piérre), her face lit with a hopeful smile. | ||
