@Cecilia KellyTransfiguration. It was one of the classes Sage had most been looking forward to. Cassie had told her about the class and how much fun it was. Sage slipped through the door quietly and found a seat in the back that was away from the commotion of the rest of the class. There was still a handful of minutes before the class was starting that Sage took advantage of to read a book she had tucked away. She flipped the pages silently and was completely absorbed in her reading, ignoring the world around her. Soon, the noise of the classroom became too loud for Sage to focus on reading and she put her book away. She closed her eyes and sighed quietly. She was already beginning to miss her home. She picture herself running along the hills of her home with Kora at her side, her running blade beating the ground in a satisfying rhythm. She thought of the feeling of the wind blowing around her skin and her panting breaths as she felt her legs begin to feel heavy. Sage opened her eyes again and smiled. Just the thought of the freedom she felt while running made her happy; she was not as homesick anymore.

As Cecilia has been looking forward to magic ever since she started her classes, Transfiguration became her new favourite. She hurried towards the Transfiguration class, afraid to arrive late. She peeked inside the classroom to find almost everyone there. She checked her watch to find that she arrived a bit early, to be honest a way bit early. She checked her time table to find out that the Slytherins and Hufflepuffs together are having Transfiguration class this time. Well she didn't knew much of the first years, and was excited to meet some. As she walked inside the class she couldn't find any empty seat except for one just beside a Hufflepuff, who seemingly was a first year. Cecilia made her way towards the seat and sat there. For a second she sat still as the girl had her eyes closed and she didn't want to disturb her. She sat in a proper posture as she was taught in the Kelly family and tried her best to look respectful. At last the girl opened her eyes and smiled. Seems like she remembered something memorable, Cecilia thought, looking at the girl intently. "Um, hello?" Cecilia took the first step as she doubted if the girl is going to notice her presence and anxiously waited for her response.

Sage was startled as a voice said something next to her. Sage nearly leaped out of her seat. Next to her, sat a Slytherin girl with black hair. Oh! She just said ‘hello’. That’s no reason for me to jump a foot out of my seat! thought Sage, relieved it was not someone causing trouble.
“Oh, hi! My name is Sage. What’s yours?” Sage walked back over and sat back down in her seat. Her cheeks were hot with embarrassment as made her way over. Hopefully she doesn’t think I’m weird for being terrified just because someone said hello! thought Sage.
“Are you a Slytherin?” Sage asked and immediately regretted it. Of course she was Slytherin! Her robes said it all! Instead of focusing on the girl’s house, she decided to focus on her prim posture. She was sitting with a rigid back, as if it had never slumped in its life. Sage took that to mean she was excited to be there in Transfiguration class. Or, who knows, she could have rather been anywhere else.
“Do you like transfiguration?” asked Sage.
“I personally think it is a little odd. How do you change objects into entirely different things? Of course, I haven’t know about magic as long as some of the others here so maybe that’s why.” Once again, Sage found herself regretting her words. Hopefully this girl wasn’t a pure-blood who despised muggle borns and half-bloods like Sage.
