New Year, New Me PV Madison Bennett FINISHED

"That's ok I understand, even though my brother goes to Hogwarts too I hardly see him except when we're home," Madison said.

Alyssea shrugged. "It's not that I don't see him at school. It's more like... he lives in America and studies at Ilvermorny while I'm here. And since here's there more than six months in a year, him coming here is one of the only times I can see him."

"Although, I did go to summer camp and completely miss him for a whole month," Alyssea chuckled, "We flew to East Europe once I came back, though, so I still managed to spend some time with him before he went back to America."

She slumped into the chair and sighed. She wouldn't see her brother again until Christmas. Did it really have to be that far? Three months doesn't look that far on the calendar, but at this moment, it felt like eons away.

But to move onto a lighter topic, Madison was born on July 5th! Alyssea counted the days in her head. It was about three weeks away from each other. "I'm June 15th."

The trolley witch soon came around again after a bit of chat. This time, Alyssea bought the fudge flies Madison recommended (and enjoyed) and gave the lady the three sickles. Once she left, she immediately took one fudge fly. She was tempted to eat another one, but she knew she'd never stop at this point.

"Gosh," Alyssea laughed, "I might just take snack recommendations from you."

"I wonder what kind of feast we'll get this year though," Madison said, "Last year's dinner was so good, I felt like I'd grown a massive blueberry in my stomach."

Alyssea laughed. "It was. I have a feeling it'll be a similar cuisine, you know? I didn't get to fully try everything last year, so I think being slightly hungry might actually be a good thing so I can eat more at dinner."

"By the way," Alyssea said as she took the last bite of her cauldron cake, "Shall we sleep over in your dorm or mine? It just depends on whether you like plants or not. I understand some people have hayfever or some allergies from plants, so I just wanted to check if you have any."

Madi listened to Alyssea talk about her brother and was fascinated when she said he went to Ilvermorny! "Woah he goes to Ilvermorny, i've read about that school and it seems so cool but also kinda creepy at the same time, just with all the history and stuff" Madi said with a smile.
"I'm sorry you don't get to see him as much as you'd like to Alyssea, that must be really hard for you" Madi says sympathetically.

Madi smiled brightly and giggled "No way that's only about three weeks away, Omg, we should have birthday sleepovers each year in between our birthdays and celebrate them together, since we'll be at school for your birthday but i think mines in the holidays, but that way we get to celebrate them together at school!!" Madi says with a smile.

Madi chuckled as Alyssea ate one of the fudge flies "anytime, i have plenty of recommendations I could give you, tell you what, i'll write you a list later in the week, that way you've got a whole load to try, does that sound ok?" Madi says with a smile.

Madi smiled and nodded in agreement "probably and being hungry when it comes to dinner is a pretty good thing!! Oh you have to try the Cinnamon and Vanilla buns, my word they're so good!! They're drizzled in icing and served with vanilla ice cream, they serve them both for dessert and for breakfast so if you don't get one tonight, you'll be able to have one in the morning, if you're early enough" Madi says with a giggle.

Madi thinks and smiles "No i don't but I don't mind hosting it in mine, i have my own room anyway since I prefer having my own space, so it means you can try some more of the yummy snacks I have and we can stay up without waking anyone else in the room" Madi said as she saw the look on Alyssea's face and giggled.

After all the chat about snacks and what to eat for dinner, Alyssea looked back out the window. The sun had almost begun to set. Was it already early evening? She leaned over to see farther and she could see Hogsmeade Station.

Alyssea carefully stacked all of the rubbish they had onto the table. Would the trolley witch mind if they kept it there? Or was there a bin somewhere? She looked around the compartment and found no bin. Well, she figured, if there was, she'd have been putting her rubbish there already.

She sighed and smiled at Madison. "We're almost here! And do you mind if I sleep over in yours? I have roommates, so I'd prefer not to disturb them."

"And also because you have the snacks and it would be less noise trying to smuggle them into mine," Alyssea laughed.

The train soon came to a stop. Alyssea got up from her seat and took her suitcase from the top, pulling out the handle and nudging it to a tilt so it stood on its wheels. She opened the door and watched as other students piled out of their own compartments.

Alyssea turned back to Madison. "I heard we don't get to do the boat ride again, but we do a carriage to the castle instead."

"We're almost here! And do you mind if I sleep over in yours? I have roommates, so I'd prefer not to disturb them."

Madi smiled and nodded her head "of course you can, it means we can chat more without disturbing anyone since I have a room of my own. If you eat anymore sugar Alyssea, you're not gonna sleep at all" Madi said with a laugh.

Once the train had finally stopped at Hogsmede Station, Madi got her suitcase down, picked up her smaller bag that was on the seat with her and uncovered all the wheels on her suitcase so that it would roll on all four of them. "It's a good thing we're not taking the boats too, it's pouring with rain outside. Apparently the carriages are pulled by creatures called Thestrals, they can only be seen by people who have seen death" Madi says as she and Alyssea exit their compartment and step out of the train, but not before Madi puts the raincoat on that was in her smaller bag. She put it on, stepped out of the train and, once she and Alyssea had both put their suitcases into a roofed carriage, they got into it, sitting opposite each other and Madi then took her raincoat off. "Wow, that rain is really coming down hard, I can't wait to be inside Hogwarts where it's dry and warm, and there's more food. Is there a dish you're really hoping to see Alyssea?" Madi says with a giggle as the carriages start moving towards Hogwarts.
