~The Moon can't Live without Water~

Ara was near the lake. Now in her second year in Hogwarts. It has been a while since she's been near the Great Lake ever since the boat ride all first years take, she hasn't visited the lake. The girl was writing a letter to her cousin she hasn't owled in a long time because the family owl was injured for a month. She looked at the big lake, it was rather peaceful. Ara was standing while writing her letter. She put her peice of parchment on top of a book to write better. The ravenette was peacefully writing about what happened near the end of summer holidays and the start of her second year.

Her cousin, Kanae is a very outgoing girl and is the only friend Ara ever had. She is very social and kind too. Ara kinda envies her ability to make new friends quickly but she has made a few friends and aquaintances of her own thankfully. Her first 20 days at Hogwarts again were smooth. She saw a lot of new faces but didn't really talk to them a lot. Ara tells Kanae a funny story that she's never told her before, it was of her first crush when she was 9. It wasn't really a crush since it was a fictional character though.

The ravenette still finds the story hilarious though. She felt that someone was watching her, probably a student since it didn't feel... evil really. It seemed to be more like admiration. After 5 minutes, Ara has already finished telling her cousin most of what she wanted to tell her. She's a fast writer when she plans ahead. The girl knew someone was looking at her earlier but the feeling was gone, she wondered if it was just nothing.

Ara walked around a bit until she saw something, more like someone on the trees. She went to them and saw a person. 'If I remember correctly, she's a first year, her last name is 'Moon'. I saw her at the Slytherin table at the feast and saw her get sorted into Slytherin' she thought as she climbed up the tree easily and sat a few branches away from the person. She didn't make a single sound and her tired eyes were looking with no spark at the other person.

Ara climbed higher than the girl as she was talking. She looked up and down the first year. Onyx complimented her and she still kept her stone expression. "Ara Villa. You're a first year aren't you?" She says. "I'm quite flattered, Moon." the girl sat on a branch and one of her arms was holding a slightly higher branch to avoid falling forward. She put her black hair with white highlights quickly in a ponytail 'Should've worn pants... I want an option to wear pants instead of skirts for girls...if there was, I'll wear my uniform all day with no needing to change' she thought because her skirt was getting annoying. Ara looked at Onyx, she has black and white hair and brown eyes. Kind of like Ara's appearance now but Ara's eyes are a bit darker and her hair has highlights not half-half like Onyx's.

The dual color haired girl is planning to dye her hair blue next summer. She was still deciding if she was going to bleach some strands again or blue but she was bored of her hair Anyways so it wouldn't really matter. Swang her legs on the branch and moved a bit near the trunk to lean on it.

I smiled at her and nodded. I am a first year but wish I was already a Second year being 11 kinda sucks sometimes yet it does have some perks. I looked back down and leaned against the tree. Relaxing? Maybe....?

"So uh whats up with you? How's like...Life?"

I smiled awkwardly to myself and closed my eyes in the quiet shady place I loved. I know it was weird but that's just me.I looked at my long black and white hair and sighed I loved it but I wanted to have uhm use metamorphics to dye it again. Dye it maybe cross dye. I don't know. Next year.

The school was super old from where I was. Well it was old in general but, this side was what seemed to be the prettiest and maybe the oldest. I opened my eyes and looked again. It was old and cracked with grey and cracked. So cracked I could see it from my tree. I looked at it even more and seen the greyish wall with what seemed to be small minerals but then again I was seemingly far away from it. I looked up to see the light blue sky and some branches with green apples and even darker leaves. Eve then you could still see the fluffy and soft clouds with small flat ones too.


I closed my eyes again and awaited my response from Ara I think.

The other girl asked how was life. 'Quite cliché Moon.' Ara thought. She sighed and thought of an answer, "It's been mediocre overall" she replied while turning to lean back on the tree's trunk. The dual haired girl couldn't really answer that question, life wasn't over yet. She said mediocre since comparing the good and bad in her life, it was mediocre. "How was Hoggy Warty Hogwarts for the last 20 days?" Ara asked as she was sharpening a stray stick with her small knife. She didn't really have a purpose for the stick other than she was bored.

She heard 'Hoggy Warty Hogwarts' from other people a lot so why not use it? Ara was already bored but she was in a conversation and she didn't know how to back out of it. The cold breeze hit her, it wasn't that cold for her, more like warm. Her cloak was on her waist, folded a bit to not touch the floor too. The breeze was refreshing it made Ara wake up a bit. She was tired 24/7 by default because of her 0-4 hours of sleep daily. Yes, zero. She had insomnia since she was 8 but she was good at being energetic too.
