Sitting down on the chair and flipping through the pages of her notebook, Winona could feel a bittersweet emotion. This was the closest thing she had done to spending time with a friend. As she found the relevant pages and put the notebook on the table, the Gryffindor spoke. "Hey, thanks for the help." being thanked felt great, maybe she should try being nice more often.

"It's okay. There isn't anything too complicated, so you should be able to write it down in your own words." She said in a calm, soft voice. The Slytherin girl seemed much more peaceful when there was no excuse to be grumpy. She gave a little push to the glasses standing on her face with her index finger and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before starting to speak again.

"I forgot to ask, how familiar are you with potion ingredients? The recipes will make much more sense when you know about them." it was enjoyable to be able to talk about something she is good at, even thought she looked calm and quiet.

Looking at Naoki reminded Winona of their previous interaction, where she was carried in his arms. Even the thought of it was embarrassing enough to make her blush, causing her to avoid looking directly at his face. Deep down she wanted for this shy phase of hers to be over, maybe then she could try to attempt some friendly banter and actually befriend the boy sitting across the table.

While waiting for his answer, she took a quill and a parchment so that if anything needed to be explained, she could write down keywords and draw graphs to make it easier to understand.

Key realized he should have paid attention to his Potions Professor instead of busy snoozing in the class. Despite growing up with both parents who have experience with wizardry, they never taught him about potions, not even the basic thing about it. "Honestly, I don't know anything about this subject," He admitted before he begun copying Winona's note on the parchment he's using, "Good thing you wrote all the ingredients needed here." He's glad that he managed to get on the Slytherin's good side, which is a pretty rare sight to see, but without her, he'll get some scolding from Professor Regan herself and make him do more work.

Howbeit, he's still quite unhappy about the fact that he'll be stuck in this place for hours until he finished writing both notes and essay. It felt like being held hostage in the Library, but he knew that if he didn't finished it, he will be in trouble. To make it worst, Winona had written her potions note in details which make it longer for him to finish copying. Well, at least she have all the information he needed to complete his schoolwork and she was also nice enough to lend him her notebook "You wrote almost everything." He sighed as he go back and forth from her notebook and copying the written information, "How many pages of note do I have to copy?"

He flipped her notebook to see how many pages of note about the recent topic, and apparently, she wrote about 12 pages each potions. "You're really serious about this kind of thing." He's not trying to make fun of her passion in this situation. Being passionate about something is common, maybe she'll be a great Alchemist with those Potions information if she wanted to, but seeing the amount of pages he had to write made him a bit worried about his hand becoming sore from writing a lot. He then flipped back and continued his writing, hoping that he will finish writing both Potions notes and essay before their dinner in the Great Hall.

Hearing Naoki's remarks about her long and very detailed notes made the Slytherin feel proud of her work. She responded with a little grin to reassure him it was still possible to finish the assignment without spending several hours. "You don't have to note down everything, I like to add as many details as possible in case I want brew some of them."

Winona took her quill and started to write a much more simplified version of the description of each ingredient. Despite being a fast writer, her handwriting was in beautiful cursive letters. The notes she was writing looked easy to remember with simple keywords.

"It would be best to refrain from details for now and study the essentials since we don't have much time before dinner. You can borrow my notebook later to fill the gaps in your notes when you have more time." she spoke calmly before putting down the quill. Something seemed to pop up in her mind while writing. With scattered thoughts, she adrressed what was keeping her head busy. "It's odd how I brewed some of these potions but hade no idea on how effective they are, or how long their effects last, don't you think?"

After saying that, she shook her head to refuse her own ideas right away. "I couldn't possibly ask someone to be my test subject though. Guess I need to study more." the nerdy girl let out a sigh, feeling defeated.

He suddenly has a plan that came into his mind after hearing Winona talking about testing her potions. His time in Hogwarts was quite boring, so when she told him about it, it was an opportunity to do something―Pranking someone. Doing pranks and getting in troubles are his thing; he easily gets away with it, at least most of them. "You know, you don't need to ask someone to be a test subject," Key said as he played with the quill, grinning at the thought of his idea, "Let's find your test subject, and see if the potion worth the brewing."

With excitement, he took the notebook and read the information of each potion, finding a potion that's prank-worthy but not too extreme to use for his prank. "We will do it.. With this, if you did brewed some." he said whilst he put down the notebook before pointed on the page filled with a potion called Pompion Potion. Based on the information he read, the potion have the effect to make a target's head turns into a pumpkin. "So, what we're going to do is bake some cookies in the kitchen and dip it in the potion," he explained his plan quietly to the Slytherin girl, whom he thought wasn't fond of that idea, "And then I'll give it to a prefect in disguise using my metamorphmagus ability and hopefully we won't be in big trouble."

The plan was brilliant to him, but there's a problem―he don't know which one he'll be targeting. He didn't know much about the prefects, beside the fact that they acts as a role model and monitors students, giving detentions to rulebreakers, which is the reason why he chose to target one of them. "I'll find one to test it on," he assured, "You don't have to worry about getting caught, I can guarantee you that this will succeed."

To be honest, he don't know if he'll succeed doing the prank, especially since he haven't pranked someone in a long time. The last time he did it, he got expelled from his muggle school. It was a terrible moment he didn't want to think right now, so he distracted himself with the thought of the prank hypothetically succeed before going back continuing to do his work, now feeling great with the thought of a prefect being humiliated with a pumpkin-head potion. Thanks to Winona's simplified keywords, he finished writing all the information needed to write his homework in about two hours or so. With that being completed, he took 4 parchments and began to start writing his essay.

The idea the Gryffindor came up with sounded completely, ethically wrong. Winona instinctively stated her opposition when he was done explaining his plan. "No way! We can't possibly- ..." her sentence was cut short by the scenery playing in her head. The potion was awfully easy to brew, and she genuinely wanted to see one of her potions in action.

"Actually, I accept that. In the name of learning." The risk of detention was just a price to pay for a chance to experiment. Also, if things went south she could always deny taking part in the mischief.

Him suggesting a prefect to be the unlucky victim did not make sense at first, but after she thought about it the Slytherin girl understood the exact reason. If everything went according to his plan, it would be terribly amusing and make everything worth the risk. The thought made Winona giggle for a moment, a truly rare thing to see. She quickly returned back to her usual apathetic self and spoke in a calm, soft voice "I'll brew the potion as soon as possible. Then we can bake some cute treats to disguise it in. Though, I hope you're good at baking, it's not my strong suit."

As Naoki carried on with his homework, Winona got up and took back her notebook which was standing on the table. "I should be leaving now, you have all the notes necessary to finish the assignment. Feel free to find me again if you need help with anything."

Something came into his mind once the Slytherin rose up from her seat, taking her notebook along with her. The Restricted Section. He was busy coming up with the prank to the point that he has forgotten about it. "Stop right there," he exclaimed, "Before you leave, do you know anything about that closed up thing?"

Winona stopped for a moment before looking back at him as he pointed at the sign. "I was wondering what kind of books do they have there." Waiting for her reply, he went back doing his essay, still doing half part of the first page.

He knew first years doesn't know much about the Restricted Section, but he thought that Winona might knew some basic thing about it. She is a pure-blood, so he assumed that she should've be taught about it during her homeschooling, especially with her family being a pure-blood supremacists and have some obsession with Dark Arts, is a subject that's definitely a taboo in Hogwarts, therefore it should be in the Restricted Section.

Hopefully, she has some knowledge of it, for he planned to sneak out to the section and find something useful there to guide him throughout his first year. It's might be a bad idea, but knowing how he is, he didn't mind taking the risk of lurking around the Library's forbidden area.

Winona's attempt to leave soon was interrupted by a surprise question about the restricted section of the library, something that also bugged her each time she saw it. "Hmm? Well..." she tried her best to come up with an answer that could not come off as disrespectful. "Various kinds of information that the school administration thinks we can't be trusted with as mere students." she pouted slightly as she spoke.

"Keep your grades up and gain the trust of some professors, maybe you'll find a chance to browse that section." her sentence was followed by a shrug, not having full belief in her own words. The fact that there was a vast variety of information right there in the library of their school, kept hidden from them was extremely annoying to the young girl.

Since the Gryffindor was seemingly good at planning mischievious plans, Winona felt a sudden obligation to warn him. She wanted to sound strict, but because of her tiny, childishly grumpy appearance one could easily find this scene funny. "If you have any plans to sneak there, get them out of your head right now. You'd be caught so easily."

In order to prevent starting an entire conversation about the restricted section, the Slytherin girl returned back to the more important topic. She leaned in a little closer and continued talking in a quite bossy tone "Stay there like a good student and finish your homework. I will check tomorrow."

The statement she made was no help at all. Keep your grades up and gains some trust of some Professors? It is ridiculous to him, but the goody two shoes was right about it. Key groan and slump on the chair before sitting up properly again as Winona leaves him alone to finish up his essay. He wanted to ignore Winona’s advice, but thinking about it again make him change his mind about breaking and the restriction area. He has heard about how scary the Hogwarts librarian could be when students break rules, so he promise himself that he would never break the library rules after remembering about the librarian rumor.

“I’m letting my unobtrusive thought win this time,” he mumbled to himself as he continue doing his work. It has been an hour since Winona left and Key is now starving, feeling his stomach grumble loudly as he almost finish his homework. A blonde girl who's taken Winona’s spot randomly offer him a chocolate bar under the desk, but he refuse her offer as eating in the library is considered illegal according to the library rules, since he solemnly swore to not break the library rules. He feels a bit guilty as he watch the girl sadly put back the chocolate bar to her pocket, but he really didn’t want to risk his life getting caught eating in the library. His hunger become worse, so he continue to write his work, his handwriting now becoming sloppier from writing essay quickly so that he could eat dinner in the great hall.

Fortunately for him, it take about 20 minutes to finally finish his homework. He stretch his back from sitting too long at the chair and pack his stuff before leaving the library to have dinner and maybe mingle with his other Gryffindor peers at the Gryffindor table. Whilst on his way to the great hall, Key can’t stop thinking about the delicious foods he’s going to eat which make his hunger worsen. Luckily the Great hall is near to the library, so he just strides quickly across the library to the chamber that leads him to his destination.
