Axyen nodded as Raizel said that they would get to Potions Class. Axyen thought for a moment, hopefully they wouldn't be late, otherwise that would be horrible. Axyen didn't want to get in trouble or miss any classes, plus detention just sounded... horrible. Sometimes it shocked Axyen that students would do pranks and wouldn't care about getting into detention when it could've been avoided completely if they just followed the rules. Axyen began to wonder if professor Regan would make an exception for them since they might end up lost.

"It does." Axyen said, as Raizel mentioned how she sometimes ends up somewhere else rather than her intended destination. "Well we should get looking for the stairs." Axyen said, looking around for stairs the could possibly lead downwards, no luck yet. Axyen listened as Raizel asked what Axyen thought potions would be about. "Hmmm..." Axyen said, momentarily pausing. "I don't know, but both of those could be great! Maybe a good dueling tool as well, if potions are allowed." Axyen said, then he pointed towards a staircase the led downwards. "Hey, that stair leads downwards, now that's one step closer to making it to class on time." Axyen said, Axyen walked over to the stairs.

Axyen was still anxious about waiting for an owl to arrive, when will it come? Will he be accepted? Axyen was worried about it all the time, he did want to join the dueling team for a long time, and this was the perfect time to do so. Axyen sighed to himself slightly. Axyen knew the owl could come at any minute, whether it was in class or in the common room, it was something Axyen was waiting for.

"If they do implement it. It'll be a great help in dueling indeed." Raizel agreed with him on that. How interesting it'll be if they allow the use of potions in duels although… potion ingredients are expensive.

The Gryffindor looked over to the stairs when Axyen pointed towards it, a smile appearing on her face. "Oh! brilliant!" That is one step closer to their destination. "Let's keep at it and who knows, we'll end up in the potion classroom in no time." The girl turned her to Axyen, smiling.

While she isn't aware of Axyen's anxiety about a possible incoming letter from his dueling team, there is something that caught her attention from his earlier statement. He mentioned dueling when he told her about implementing the use of potion in the said sport. "Are you interested in dueling?" She asked him. The sport is quite popular, she's sure that there had been a lot of dueling games that took place during her first year in Hogwarts and she swears that she joined most of those but the best one is still probably her practice duel with Dee. That one… was painful. But worth it for the experience.

Thinking about it now though, that was so reckless of her. Taking on an older student, an experienced duelist and a former dueling captain. Well, to be honest, she'd do it again. Yes, she hasn't learned her lesson.

Axyen listened as Raizel gave parts of her opinion on potions being added to dueling, and Axyen agreed. "I think it'd make things a lot more interesting." Axyen decided to comment as well since he genuinely thought that would be a wonderful idea. Axyen could already see how massive the change will be, but it would allow for more creative plays and more interesting scenes that could play out, it would add a whole lot more variety to the sport, but this was just Axyen's opinion on the subject. It wasn't too long ago that Axyen paid for the potions ingredients to brew Babbling Beverage, he just needed to muster up some courage to brew it. Axyen then just realized that even if he did brew Babbling Beverage and was to bring it to a duel, it probably wouldn't work out well due to it being an ingestion potion and the chances of an opponent drinking it is extremely unlikely.

Axyen got back on track at the words 'Oh! brilliant!'. Axyen listened as Raizel started to smile and commented that they could end up in the Potions classroom in no time. "Yup, we just go to keep it the pace going and we should be fine." Axyen said, smiling back in response to Raizel's smile who turned to Axyen. Axyen realized that they both were on the second floor, which meant... "Oh hey, if we're at the second floor, we're only two floors above the dungeons." Axyen said, which meant they might be able to make it to class on time, if they don't get lost too often on the way anyways, but Axyen believed it was worth pointing out, as that meant they didn't need to worry about rushing down looking for the class completely, they had some time to spare.

Axyen then listened as Raizel asked if Axyen was interested in dueling, Axyen's favorite sport. "Well..." Axyen momentarily paused. "Yeah, it's a bit of a dream for me at Hogwarts." Axyen said, and imagined himself as a Hufflepuff duelist, helping a teammate while sending spells and evading spells as well. Axyen then remembered how Raizel said it'd be a great help in dueling, so Axyen might've been overthinking it, but decided to ask. "Are you on the dueling team?" Axyen asked, before quickly adding "Earlier you said the potions being included into dueling would be a great help." Axyen put emphasis on 'help'.

Axyen still didn't hear the flapping of wings, or a swift sheet of paper falling near him, which meant his dueling letter was still yet to get back to him, it made him anxious. Would they accept Axyen? Axyen didn't know how he was already getting anxious about this dueling letter considering how he only recently just tried to joining the team, he'd probably have to wait week or two(2) or just in a few days, but the suspense and excitement made Axyen slightly impatient and more alert of owls when they past by, as usually he didn't pay much mind to the owls, but now, dueling just seemed to be something on Axyen's mind.

Raizel looked around when Axyen mentioned their location, glad to know that they are making progress in their journey towards the dungeons where the potion classroom is. "Let's keep finding these stairs towards the dungeon. Keep up the pace that we have at the moment." The girl said with a chuckle. For some reason, this is turning out to be fun. Perhaps it's because she has a companion to talk to and the fact that there is a small chance of them getting lost. She can bet that Axyen's sense of direction is at least better than hers.

"You dream of being part of the dueling teams?" Raizel wondered while turning her head to briefly take a glance at the Hufflepuff boy. "That's a nice dream alright. Dueling is fun, thrilling despite the danger but still fun." Dueling, she could go on in telling things about it, how fun it is for her, especially casting spells and fighting with them against others. Well, she will do her best to win duels for her own house but that's probably her second priority. It's the thrill of the spell fighting and casting that she's more into.

She looked ahead of her, watching where she's going and looking for another stair leading down. "Yeah, I'm part of the dueling team and just before summer break started too." Raizel answered Axyen's question, remembering the day she finally found her spot in the dueling team. It was exciting but it did made her anxious, especially when she started thinking about her first official duel. She wasn't sure if she'll be good enough but she will try her best for her team and for herself. "But before that, I did find myself joining a couple of dueling games and practice duels. It was quite an experience." The girl grinned as she recalled those thrilling games.

Just talking about it is making her want to do some practice with a dummy but she must suppressed that desire until classes are over and then she could freely go to the dueling club and practice to her heart's content, cast endless spells until she tires herself out.

Axyen nodded as Raizel said that they should keep finding these stairs that led closer to the Dungeons which would obviously get the two closer to the Potions classroom. As Raizel chuckled, Axyen felt a slight unease of going into the Dungeons, they were dark, creepy, but then Axyen remembered there were most likely going to be other students there, waiting for class to start. This thought put Axyen more at ease knowing that they weren't going to be there alone, probably. It was just a guess, but Axyen still knew how to cast Lumos which would help Axyen see better in the Dungeons although Axyen would probably end up using it for comfort rather than its actually purpose - casting light.

Axyen once again nodded as Raizel asked if Axyen's dream was to be on the dueling team, which it was. Axyen constantly imagined himself being on the team and the thought of getting too duel, to have fun in a respectable sport seemed fun. Well to Axyen the sport seemed respectable and he was sure others would agree if they were randomly asked. Axyen listened as Raizel added on that dueling was fun and thrilling, even if there was a bit of danger to it, which Axyen didn't mind as professors or somebody else would be moderating the duel, making sure nobody got hurt. Plus using spells were fun too. "Thanks!" Axyen said, as Raizel did say that Axyen had a nice dream at the beginning of her sentence.

Axyen listened more carefully as Raizel said that she was on the dueling team, Raizel also said that prior to her joining the team she would practice dueling. Axyen then asked "what is it like?" Axyen was curious and wanted to learn more about dueling, after all if he was about to join the team, he shouldn't go in completely blind and disappoint his teammates. Axyen kept imagining an owl swooping into the air, its wings going up and down filled with pride dropping a letter as dropped into the air smoothly into Axyen's hand, with his acceptance letter into the dueling team.

Axyen looked around for the next set of stairs, however there was sadly no luck.... yet. Axyen walked around a little bit, trying to find the next set up stairs. How many minutes do we have left....? Axyen thought to himself while he was walking around for the next set of stairs. This might not go as planned and they could end up late.

How much time had passed since they started walking down this corridor? Hopefully, they aren't running late and can still get to their class in time. Getting to class late is something that she doesn't want to happen, especially on the subjects that she's interested in. Potions is one of them and of course, she doesn't want to disappoint their professor. Raizel scanned the area, looking for another set of stairs and soon enough, she spotted one. "I thought we'll never find another stair leading down." They had been walking for quite some time now after all. She walked over towards the stairs then, picking up the pace. "We should hurry."

"As for dueling…" the Gryffindor paused her thoughts for a while to recall what had happened before. "Well, I can say that some went okay, some didn't but they were fun experiences." The countless times that things didn't go her way, those were her motivations for striving to get better in terms of spellcasting and dueling. While it might not seem like she is affected that much by those constant misses and failure to cast spells, it did took a huge toll from her.

It was disappointing no doubt about that and she took it to heart. It was a good thing that she got her bearings back even after a loss. "You should definitely join some dueling games or ask someone to practice with you." Raizel suggested to Axyen. "I think that'll give you enough experience until you get accepted." For her, that is what she did. She didn't stop taking part in any dueling games that she came across. She wanted to gain experience before she gets into the team, to improve herself.

Axyen followed as Raizel not only found the next set of stairs but also picked up the pace. Axyen did the same in response. "How many minutes do you we think we have now?" Axyen asked as he was walking, looking for the next set of potential stairs that led downwards, Axyen saw another set of stairs, but they only went upwards, to Axyen's disappointment. Axyen realized they were now on the Ground Floor which meant they were only one floor above the dungeons. Axyen felt himself get more nervous and excited for the first Potions lesson of the year.

Axyen paid close attention to what Raizel said about dueling, how some duels went well and naturally, others didn't. Although Axyen took a mental note on how Raizel said it was all fun, which encouraged Axyen even more, making him want to join the dueling team sooner rather than later. Axyen listened to Raizel's next advice and nodded to show that he was paying attention. Get practice in short, which was true, it was best to start work on Axyen's spell casting to try and impress his team, and to not completely fail when he was out there.

Axyen walked around, looking for the next set of stairs. We are so close, we cannot be late. Axyen thought to himself, and then he repeated various thoughts. I need to continue focusing on my classes! Axyen would think and think. This is for my future career! This thought in particular seemed to be a huge motivating boost for Axyen to keep looking and right when he was about to turn around, he saw it. Stairs that led downwards into the dark Dungeons. Axyen lit up. "Oh look! There are the Dungeons!" Axyen said, pointing towards the stairs to help Raizel see them if she hadn't yet.

Axyen seemed to be in a better mood now knowing that his career seemed bright already at the rate he as going, but Axyen would still try to remain focused in class as it would be crucial.

“Hopefully, a couple minutes more.” Raizel responded to Axyen’s question. She’d like to believe that they do have more time for them to get in class. It’s only been the beginning of classes and here they are, getting late. While she’d love to chat more about dueling, she thinks that she had already said enough about her own experiences on the said sport and Axyen already looked determined to join it so no further words are needed for her to say to convince him to join in on the fun of shooting spells at other people.

“If you ever need someone to practice with, I can give you a hand if I happen to be free.” The Gryffindor offered. It’s probably a habit of hers by now, offering her help to those who had taken an interest in dueling. Even for some older students she had offered to be their target practice if they needed some assistance in trying out spells or preparing for duels. In a way, it will serve as her own practice and that’s her chance to learn more about someone and their strategies.

Axyen soon found the way to the dungeons, pointing towards, hopefully, the last stair that they need to take to get to the dungeons. “Alright, let’s hurry before we are late for class.” Raizel told the Hufflepuff boy, hurriedly walking to it. Now, time to focus in class.

Axyen listened as Raizel said that they hopefully have a few minutes more, Axyen himself picked up the pace slightly as missing Potions class was not in his plans. Axyen found this slightly stressful, trying to worry about making to class on time and while they made a lot of progress, over conversations about dueling, there must've been a few minutes that flew by. Axyen could potentially miss out on the lesson, even if they do just arrive a few minutes late. And there was always the potential chance for getting trouble for not arriving on time to class.

Raizel offered Axyen a chance to practice with here, which might be what Axyen needed as he still nervously waited for the dueling acceptance letter, even if it was bad news, Axyen preferred knowing sooner opposed to later. "Yeah, that sounds great." Axyen said, of course other houses may be competitive, although Axyen knew that, he wondered just how competitive the other houses could get. How far would they take it if it meant winning? Axyen was thinking about a lot during this moment, what were his realistic chances of being a great duelist? Axyen then thought that if he kept trying and working hard towards his goal he can be a wonderful duelist, but like anything Axyen thought, there were slight doubts, but Axyen remained more silent on the subject.

Axyen now went into the dungeons, not liking this one bit. "Lumos." Axyen said as a light from the tip of his wand glowed light. It was more for comfort opposed to its actual purpose of providing light for easier navigation. Axyen soon quickly looked around for the Potions classroom and found it, getting nervous and excited at the same time. Luckily for Axyen and too his great relief, it seemed they came a bit early, which meant that they luckily weren't late, just one(1) minute early. Axyen gave a sigh of relief at this.

It was nice to hear that Axyen accepted her offer of becoming his dueling practice partner. Not only is she helping him out in his quest on becoming a duelist and reaching his dreams, she is also satisfying her needs of some practice to reach her own goals when it comes to her own path as a duelist. The more practice partners she has, the more she could hone her skills in preparation of the dueling games.

While she doesn't know exactly when exactly that would be but she'd like to be prepared for it once it's just around the corner and what better way to do that than getting into practice duels as much as she can, even against the older years. She should definitely ask her older friends for some duel though, maybe learn a couple of tactics from them. That'd be great.

She snapped out of her thinking trance when she heard Axyen cast the Lumos spell, making her turn her head towards him for a brief moment and then noticing that their surroundings had gotten dark thanks to them finally arriving in the dungeons and soon enough, they had finally reached their destination, making Raizel smile. "Sweet, we made it. Luckily we didn't get lost huh." Raizel let out a soft chuckle, her eyes on Axyen. "Well, good luck to us."
