Closed A New Life Solo

Juniper got comfy sitting on the trunk of his tree and buried his head in his hands crying. He had been waiting since he woke up until it would finally hit him that his sister's birthday was today and that he wouldn't be able to say the simple words "Happy Birthday".

Juniper had been described as being overly-sensitive but sensitivity is a good thing but you've got to not take everything to heart.
Juniper hadn't become friends with anyone since the beginning of the year, but that was probably due to the fact he didn't know who he could trust so he kept his head down.

Wiping the tears from his eyes he pulled out a memory book. The first picture was a young ginger girl who was his sister and a young boy chasing after her. This was at Juniper's grandmother's house who lived in a cabin in a forest where the siblings spent many hours looking for edible plants or chasing each other.

The second picture was of them both pulling silly faces, Juniper was sticking his tongue out with a wild grin on his face while Anna was pretending to be dead on her feet. Juniper would never have imagined that she would die so young. Only fourteen.

Juniper felt a stab of pain in his heart and shoved the book in his bag feeling worse than before. He pulled out one of his Muggle books called: Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson.

Juniper skimmed his finger through the pages until he reached the page he'd finished reading on.

Currently the book was very good, but he couldn't concentrate only thinking of Anna.
After a few minutes he put his book back in his bag impatiently and thought about singing.

He began singing: How do I say goodbye by Dean Lewis. Juniper's voice was perfectly pitched and he was complimented on it so very often. Silent tears continued pouring down his cheeks while he sang. Singing had always composed him when he was younger. The tears stopped eventually on the third time of singing that song.

Shivering he put his hoodie on and began singing In the stars (the cover) by Sami Rose. He needed to stop singing such sad songs but they spoke truth.

Something else Juniper had always struggled with was his sexuality he had never dated anyone but found himself more attracted to men than women. It was a sensitive topic for Juniper as he had once tried to talk to his dad about it but he had been told to man up and stop acting gay.
Juniper was mad at his father for many months for being homophobic but every pride month he displayed his views.
Ever since he had moved in with William they had celebrated pride month as his father was pansexual having been on dates with men and women.

Juniper gathered up his stuff and began walking back to the castle hoping that one day he would feel confident.
