Spell: The body-bind curse
Incantation: Petrificus Totalus
Wand Movement: Moving your wand in a curve before moving it horizontally towards the right and then moving it vertically downwards.
Axyen was in the library studying various third year spells that would be good for his future dueling experience in the dueling club. He was in the library as usual, studying various stunning spells, from Stupefy to Petrificus Totalus, Petrificus Totalus was a spell that seemed to catch Axyen's attention, he decided it was worth studying and learning. Axyen looked over the incantation, the spell effects, and the wand movement. Axyen made sure to review the spell at least ten times over before heading over to the Dueling Club to practice on the training dummies. Axyen focused, he curved his wand and then moved his wand horizontally towards the right and then moving his wand vertically downwards. "Petrificus Totalus!" Axyen said, the dummy didn't budge at all.
Alright, so maybe Axyen would need more practice on the spell, so back to the Library again, Axyen learned that the spell did in fact work on inanimate objects, so he didn't need to ask anybody to have to deal with him begging for them to stand still for a few seconds. Axyen continued to read from the text he was using. Axyen continued to study by looking at common uses for the spell, it was often used to immobilize people, but it was very rarely used on inanimate objects, unless it was used for practice. Axyen took some of his notes and reread it all.
Axyen walked towards the Dueling Club again with more confidence in his ability to produce the spell. He saw the training dummy and point his wand again, he curved the wand and then proceeded to move his wand horizontally towards the right before moving it vertically downwards."Petrificus Totalus!" Axyen said, focusing all of his attention on the training dummy, his wand produced a white light which hit the dummy, but it did nothing.
Practice makes perfect... Axyen said, he would have to try again, but this time there was a promise of progress, Axyen needed to do this again, he knew he was in the right direction and now the last thing to do was to properly produced the spell. Axyen took a deep breath, he'd need to try harder to successfully cast the spell. He moved his wand in a curve before moving his wand horizontally towards the right before moving it vertically downwards. "Petrificus Totalus!" Axyen said, focusing on the dummy. A bright white light came of his wand and shot at the dummy, the training dummy's hands suddenly stuck together and fell backwards.
"Yes!" Axyen exclaimed, jumping slightly from pure excitement. He noticed a few students looking over at him, Axyen immediately stopped his celebration at once. He was glad he managed to at least successfully learn a new spell today though.

Spell: Impediment Hex
Incantation: Impedimenta
Wand Movement: A straight horizontal line.Axyen was bored one good Saturday and he decided that he had nothing to do, so he chose to make the decision to study his favorite subject in school as of right
now: Defense Against the Dark Arts. Axyen got up early in the morning, sometime before the sun even rose, so it must've been super duper early. Axyen's Pygmy Puff, Arnold, was asleep for the time being, so Axyen got dressed in his school uniform which consisted of a gray shirt with three thin horizontal 'V' shaped yellow stripes at the top. He wears a black robe over it with the Hufflepuff House Crest pinned to the left side of the jacket. Additionally, he wears black jeans, matching the black robes.
Axyen took the time to brush his usually messy brown hair, he eventually managed to brush it all back after more struggle than he would ever care to admit. He wasn't a fan of the look, maybe he could look through a book and find a style he liked...? He didn't really care too much at the moment, the only thing on his mind was studying ahead because he wanted to learn a new spell. Additionally, learning a new spell wasn't just good for helping him with his hunger for knowledge, but it could also be good for dueling as well. So maybe Axyen could find a powerful spell of some kind, something that would give his team a great advantage; learning spells ahead of time would be an unexpected surprise to his opponents, which could give him a swift advantage easily...
Probably not to an extreme degree that he was imagining, but he figured that the idea was still there anyways. 'Okay, here we are.' Axyen thought to himself, he felt excitement building up as he stood outside of the library doors, this was a lot more dramatic than necessary, but this was his moment anyways, so he was going to make the most out of it. Axyen entered the library and a few moments later, he would find himself immersed in a book looking for the fourth year spells for the Defense Against the Dark Arts. Soon en0ugh, he would find the chapter he was looking for. 'Let's see...' Axyen thought to himself as he slowly flipped through the pages, reading as much as he can and absorbing information until one particular spell happened to catch his attention... the Impediment Hex.
He learned that the spell apparently hinders the movement of his targets. 'In a duel, something like that would be incredible!' Axyen noted, thinking about all of the possibilities of using this spell. It could be the spell that gives him or his teammates an opening to strike an opponent and win the duel! However, that might be acting a bit too optimistic, he would have to find out sometime on the dueling stage, assuming he ever uses the spell on the dueling stage, but it was good to know nonetheless. Anything could happen on the dueling stage, Axyen knew that from way too much personal experience of getting knocked out in nearly all of his matches.
Axyen read and began to practice and study what the spell did, its incantation, the wand movement (though Axyen didn't need to study it for long as it was just a horizontal straight line), he was trying to figure out everything he could because every single thing would be important to using the spell properly. That's what Axyen learned in his first few lessons, especially in Charms, the better you understand a spell, the more effective and easier it is to use. Knowing that, Axyen learned how to properly say the incantation and knew that this type of spell would help make it hard for an opponent to aim or evade any attack since they'd have a harder time moving their arms and legs. This spell was powerful, it sounded like a complete game changer, something that could make it impossible for his opponents to dodge his team's attacks. Axyen smiled to himself imagining all of the potential victories it would bring Hufflepuff, Axyen needed to try it out as soon as possible; but first, he needed to make sure he could say the incantation correctly.
Turns out, the incantation 'Impedimenta' meant 'impedire' which means 'impede', which basically meant 'hinder'. Axyen reread the page over and over again, getting everything stuck in his head as this information would become incredibly useful later. Axyen stood up from his chair, placed the book back where it belonged and happily skipped out of the library. As soon as he left the library, Axyen made a semi-sprint to the Dueling Club as fast as he could, he wanted to test the spell out right now. 'No, do not cast the spell on these people. Do not cast the spell here.' Axyen just had a random intrusive thought to cast the spell at everyone he ran past, but he eventually managed to get to the Dueling Club without casting a single spell.
It didn't take long before Axyen found what he was looking for, that being a dummy for him to test out his spell casting. Axyen readied himself, excited to try out the spell. He suddenly cleared his mind, trying to think of nothing except for aiming the spell at the dummy and hindering whatever 'movements' it had.
Axyen formed a horizontal line with his wand and then as he aimed at the dummy, he prepared to speak in a calm voice. "Impedimenta!" It wasn't so calm, Axyen was too excited to be completely calm, but it ultimately ended up being a successful cast. A light shot out from Axyen's wand shooting into the dummy's stomach. "YES!" Axyen said, feeling like he was on top of the world right now. A few students that happened to be in the dueling club shot Axyen a few stares which caused Axyen to blush. 'That is EMBARRASSING!'Wisdom Check:

"Uh... sorry..." Axyen said quietly, so quietly he doubt any of them even heard him at all. He didn't know if he should still be excited or if he should just go back to his Common Room and hide out there. Axyen just ended up awkwardly standing there instead, having absolutely no idea what to do. 'Uh... Yeah, I want to vanish! Disappear!' Axyen thought to himself, for some reason, he was somehow imagining that some people would burst out laughing, even though that might not be as likely as Axyen imagines.InformationReducioMentioning....ReducioNobody.ItemsReducio
