Meeting Up Again? PV Mark Myers

Dear Mark,

I meant that I wish we could eat at the same table instead of being split up. Sorry if that was confusing. I would be very disappointed if we ate our meals at different times. But we can take advantage of what we have! Which is the timing of lunch!

Sincerely,

Dear Seven,

Oh, I see. Ya, I do agree, but we need to sit in our house tables, pretty much so then not everyone in the school is sitting at the same table. But at least our tables are somewhat close to each other. Maybe we could meet in the Entrance Hall after we're all done lunch and then walk down to the Great Lake?

Till next time,

Mark Myers

Dear Mark,

I get why the houses are split up into their own separate tables, but I still don't like it. It is what it is, though. Right? Well, your plan sounds good. We'll just walk from the Entrance Hall to the Great Lake. Then we can do whatever you want.

Sincerely,

Dear Seven,

Honestly, I also don't like it, but we just need to live with it, sadly. If only we were sorted in the same house then it'll be different. Yep! We can do that, but if its a good day before we leave can we get ice cream from the Great Hall and bring it with us to the Great Lake?

Till next time,

Mark Myers

Dear Mark,

I think it would be rather nice to be a Hufflepuff. Don't get me wrong, I love Ravenclaw and I wouldn't want to change houses, but I wouldn't be unhappy if I had been sorted into Hufflepuff. Ice cream sounds really good. Out of curiosity, do you have a favorite flavor?

Sincerely,

Dear Seven,

Cool! Honestly I wouldn't mind being in Ravenclaw, then I would be like my mother! But its ok if we aren't in the same house, at least we can still hangout. Yep! I like both watermelon and cookies n cream ice cream. How about you, Seven? D'you have a favorite flavor of ice cream?

Till next time,

Dear Mark,

Why do you think we have houses (Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, and Gryffindor) in the first place? I don't think I've ever had watermelon ice cream, but cookies 'n' cream is pretty good. My favorite, though, will probably always be rainbow sherbet. I love all the different flavors. The raspberry, orange, and pineapple make it taste delicious.

Dear Seven,

Because the founders of Hogwarts are the four houses. So, they pretty much decided to make houses so then all four of them can still be around Hogwarts still. Oh, thats a nice flavor. I've never exactly had rainbow sherbet, but I have had some sherbet before. But I forgot which type I had.

Dear Mark,

Yeah, I suppose you're right about the Hogwarts houses. Still, I feel like it doesn't make things equal. For example, Gryffindors are expected to be heroes and Slytherins are destined to be villains. At least, that's the mindset that many people here have adopted. I don't know, it just bothers me.

Sincerely,

Dear Seven,

I get what your saying, but the houses are also how the founders wanted it to be. But, everyone in Slytherin isn't bad, some are good. Gryffindor had a villain sorted into its house. Its not about the house that we're sorted into, its about what we become and how we want to be.
