Do you like Agatha or Sophie more?

Definitely Sophie. While her antics are frustrating and repetitive, she at least adds flickr to the plot in ways Agatha can’t. Her sharp wit humour makes the books more refreshing to read, while Agatha’s conversations usually bring them down. However, I do think Agatha is rather clever, and has more of a character arc to start.

I like Hester and Hort. Sophie and Agatha are more complicated, sometimes I like both, sometimes it’s one over the other. I also like Lady Lesso and Professor Dovey.

If I were to say my favourite characters overall, they'd probably be Rhian and Japeth-- made the books 1000x more interesting. But Sophie (especially in the later books), Lesso and the three witches would be my favourites out of the main crew.

What about favourite books? My favourites are 1, 5, and 6!
