Seeing Explorations PV Reid Kovacs Closed

A breathy laugh would sound from Felicity after Reid finished his joke, and she lifted up her fingers to do finger-guns, aiming them at him, "Let's hope so." She took another thin twig from the ground, digging it its own hole in the ground next to her other one, before she looked up at the sky, thinking about her classes. Was she doing well so far? Not really. She was doing awfully with Transfiguration, and she would have given someone ten galleons for them to help her succeed at Herbology! At least she was doing well in Professor Blackburn's - the Deputy Headmaster, and Professor of Charms - class.

She pursed her lips before parting them to respond, deciding to continue being honest with the Hufflepuff boy. He didn't seem to be capable of judging people too harshly. "I'm doing pretty alright, if you don't count Herbology and Transfiguration," She laughed, shaking her head at herself. And when she first came to Hogwarts, she was sure that she would be highly successful with the Transfiguration class. Apparently, it was not in her foreseeable future to actually do well in the class. She hoped she at least passed. It would be much easier if she weren't so intimidated by the professor - Professor Crispe.

"How about you? How are your classes?" She inquired, tilting her head to the side slightly. She was taught as a child that asking people questions about themselves is usually a good way to communicate, but she was really quite bad with it. Sometimes, she'd get too personal. Others, she'd get too boring. She kind of hoped that he was doing well, so she didn't feel obliged to offer to help him study if she was able to. She studied much too often, with basically everyone she met, so she most definitely didn't want her friendship with Reid to end up that way, as well.

She got a flashback of home whenever she thought of friends that she studied with. She knew that most of her Muggle friends would want her to come over and do homework with them, which made another pang of homesickness hit her heart. She should get going now, or else the homesickness would most likely catch up to her, and she would end up crying in front of her new friend. That wasn't exactly something that she wanted. She stood up from her previous sitting position, dusting her bottom off from any dirt or leaves or anything of the sort that could still be attached to her.

"I think I ought to be going now," She announced, flashing a weak smile Reid's way. She was aware that her facial expression had most likely became neutral, as it always seemed to become when she got lost in thought. The weak smile must have looked like a thousand watts in comparison. "Thank you again for your hospitality, and for the decent conversation. I'll see you soon." She said, almost as though it were a promise. And in a way, maybe it was. The next day's events can never be set in stone. She might end up meeting with the boy.

With that, she turned, and began to walk away from the bit of the Grounds that they were on, towards the castle that was Hogwarts once again. She would then go to the Quidditch Pitch a little later on, to clear her mind.
