"I guess so, but there has to be Astrology books here in the library that we can use rather than going to a teacher straight away...."

"Hey, that's a good idea", said Simon. "And that just made me think of something. Perhaps it will take more than knowledge about beasts and mysterious events to find out more about your scar... We will probably need to use knowledge and insights from various disciplines and subjects in order to get a better understanding of what your scar is and isn't."

He could not believe that Madison's mother had actually been to Clara's shop in London and subscribed to her products for Madison. If Clara only knew that her products were even making its way into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry... That was quite amazing, despite him having zero interest in his sister's products.

". . . Why do you ask? You have a box of her products in your room don't you? Did she send them to you, so that you would be a walking advert for her company? I'm happy to take the girly products off your hands and use them, I've almost run out of my hand creams and sprays anyway so having more would be awesome!"

Simon laughed, a little bothered. "How is it that you always know everything!? Yes, she did send me a gift box. It's the cherry blossom collection, I think it was, plus the 'Girl's survival kit' or whatever... I haven't opened it, but I'm sure there are hand creams and sprays in there as well. And of course you can have it!"

Madison listened to Simon and knew he was right. "What other disciplines and subjects were you thinking of Simon?" she asks, sitting back down after grabbing some Astrology books, scanning through them to find anything out about the Aquila constellation. She finds something but stuffs the book into her bag and opens another one before Simon could see what she did.

Madison giggled and smiled at him "Intuition I guess. Ooo I have a cherry blossom candle at home and it smells lovely" Madison giggles again and says, after calming herself down, "I take it you won't be needed a 'Girl's survival kit' huh? Have Hoax bring it to my dorm window tonight, that way you're not walking around with a box that I'm guessing, is pink, white and light purple, since those are the colours of the packages I get from her company" Madison says with a smile.

As she looks through the other Astrology books she spots something odd about the picture on the page. "Simon look, that picture, I remember seeing that shape in the sky before I fell, it looks like... it can't be" Madison looks at the picture again and rubs the back of her neck taking a deep breath before continuing, "It's the merging of a Thunderbird and an Eagle, the same one that child apparently saw all those years ago" she says, drawing the picture from the other book since he couldn't see it.

Madison starts to get nervous. 'What is the connection between me and this boy? Why do we have the same scar? And why is he dead but not me?' she thinks to herself as she tries to calm herself down. Once she has and she's had some water, she closes the book and looks at Simon, "what discipline should we try next?" she asks

"I take it you won't be needed a 'Girl's survival kit' huh?"

Simon laughed a little. "No, definitely not."

"Have Hoax bring it to my dorm window tonight, that way you're not walking around with a box that I'm guessing, is pink, white and light purple, since those are the colours of the packages I get from her company."

He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't have any problems with carrying a pink box through the school corridors, but keeping it in my dorm is worse. Not that there is anything wrong with wearing makeup, as some of these older boys do, but having ecological sanitary pads in the boy's dorm is perhaps a bit weird", he said jokingly, blushing a little. "That would certainly make the boys wonder. But you will be glad to hear that there is a scented candle in there, as well. I cannot promise it's the cherry blossom candle though. I haven't opened the box, I just read very briefly on the back of it."

They continued to read. Simon was getting a bit tired and yawned when Madison spotted something in her book.

"... It's the merging of a Thunderbird and an Eagle, the same one that child apparently saw all those years ago", she said.

"This could be important", said Simon and frowned. "You should borrow that book by Gryth, I think. Better keep it for a while and reread the chapter, see if you find anything new that we might have overlooked. And perhaps we should look up who the author is. Perhaps he has written more books that could help us..."

"What discipline should we try next?", asked Madison.

"I think, for now we should take a break. We've been reading for quite a long time and my brain is getting a bit tired. Let's continue this another day, with fresh minds. Okay?"

Madison nodded "I agree and I will. I'll take it to my room, read it and if I find anything new, I'll let you know tomorrow when I next see you Simon, don't worry" Madison says with a smile, letting her hair out of the ponytail she had it in.

"I think, for now we should take a break. We've been reading for quite a long time and my brain is getting a bit tired. Let's continue this another day, with fresh minds. Okay?"

Madison could see that Simon was getting tired and honestly, so was she, so Madison smiled and nodded "That's totally fine Simon, I should head back to my dorm for a bit before Dinner anyway. Thank you for helping me with this, I really appreciate it" Madison says with a smile.

After saying goodbye to Simon, Madison walks towards her dorm room, thinking about all that she had learnt today. As she walked away from the library, she stopped and turned her head around to face the library once again. 'That place holds a lot of secrets, some that are best kept hidden and some that can be found, I wonder which one i'm going to be' she thought to herself as she turned back and kept walking towards her dorm.
