The blonde girl was off to the side, stuck in her own world, as she found herself in most days. It was quite nice, being able to think and all. Scary stories were being exchanged in the soft echo of the outdoors, students all gathering to listen and what not. Alexx nodded when she deemed it appropriate, smiled when she thought necessary. But how was she to join? The French girl had quickly noticed that she was unfamiliar with the majority of those present, save for a few who she was only but acquainted with. It was no surprise, after all. Alexx could not pride herself in an outgoing nature, no matter how much of a skill for speech she had acquired.
And she had no scary stories, either. No horrors or hauntings, no creatures in the night to taunt the other children with. She was quiet, so very quiet, and it was almost as though any and all creativity could have been stripped from her beforehand. Such stories, in her cold opinion, were cheesy anyway. She hadn't the time for campfire tales when she grew up, and she certainly carried the same disregard for them here. But yet, because her mother imprinted on her better manners, she pretended that the stories peaked her interested. She acted as though she had the attention span of a goldfish, in her opinion.
She hummed, reaching for a Marshmallow rather than practicing the 'Accio' spell on it. She would do so later, she decided. Right now, she was not concerned so much with school, as it was already stressful enough. Her mind did not want to be focused on the frustration as to whether or not she could get the charm correct right now. That was the last thing she wanted to focus on. Sighing, she popped the marshmallow in her mouth, not bothering to heat it up or anything. Though Marshmallows were usually too sweet for her liking, their sticky sugary flavor making her teeth tingle, she could not bring herself to care about that either.
If you were to glance at the girl, she could be found with her blue eyes gazing off longingly into the distance, contemplating. The gems moved to meet the sky, which reflected all of its beauty into her eyes as she watched carefully. It was like a painting; something of a galaxy. There were always stars in her eyes before, and she did not need a reflection, her eyes mimicking the same graceful cast back of a clear puddle after the rain, to tell her so. She knew of the universe that lived in her eyes. So she looked down, not wanting to get caught in those thoughts this evening. Her pupils flickered back to the red and amber glows of the warmth that lit the wood, and she smiled to anyone who may have noticed.

Mentions & Interacts: Alexx HelmThe sound of chatter and indistinct voices filled the empty air, which wasn't empty for much longer. People had gathered around, some to tell their own scary stories, some just to interact with each other. It really did bring joy to her to see so many people together. At least nothing crazy had happened yet.
But Frost couldn't help but feel a bit out of place. She didn't know any scary stories to tell and it got her thinking that she really should start reading more spooky things. And though it did seem weird for such a 'sunshine and rainbows' girl to have some sort of hidden passion for spooky things, nobody would know that unless they were specifically looked for it in her.
Her eye on the small group of people, she started their way. She didn't know a few of them, but most she had at least seen a few times. But something caught her eye, forcing her to stop her feet from moving. A blonde girl was alone, gazing off into the distance. Maybe she needed a friend? Maybe she distanced herself for a reason. But that wouldn't matter to the redhead, who had inadvertently started making her way over to the other girl.
The blonde had smiled at her, maybe she wasn't hostile at all. Hostile people didn't usually smile at people, right? Frost scampered her way over to the other, beaming at the quiet girl. "Hello there! Mind if I join you?" She spoke in a quiet tone, but still brightness sprang out from her voice. "If not, then that's fine too. I don't want to be a bother." Frost faced her directly. Most would look intimidating while standing how she did, but the Hufflepuff had a certain knack for making the intimidating things become nothing but an action.

Arthur | Amanda
The group was getting larger by the minute. It was a surprise to see that Emma wasn’t up to a confrontation today. Her many experiences with Emma, the girl wasn’t always so friendly, perhaps she was the only one whom Emma showed her attitude to. Aurelia raised an eyebrow when the Ravenclaw shot her a look. Aurelia knew what the look was intended for, for her to more or less to shut her yapping.
Apparently, Hufflepuffs were very nosy as another came over. This was Arthur, he was another friendly guy and unsurprisingly wanted to douse the heated argument, the same with Amadea. If she Arthur wasn’t a Friend, Aurelia would have gotten upset when he told her to apologise to those Slytherins who’s stories were ridiculous. He had also addded that ‘Putting other people down doesn't make you seem better,’ this ticked Aurelia the most. She never intended to make herself seem better, why the hell would she when she already had a reputable last name which almost everybody knew. But since he was, or more specifically, his Father was a Family Friend, Aurelia didn’t want to risk the political relationships between both their families to end. So instead, she forced herself to laugh it out, “It was only an opinion, Arthur, nothing much.”
The girl stood, she needed to stop interacting for a bit. It was now clear that the more she interacted the more she got frustrated. It was most likely that she was talking with the wrong people, people like Bloom who intended to rub whatever bad mood she had on her.
“Good idea, you should go make s’mores with Bloom and cheer her up. She’s obviously is in a foul mood today.” the girl waved them off like brushing dust off a table.
“I’m going to explore the site, wanna come Amanda? We shall find the best tent for ourselves before they’re all occupied.” She beckoned Amanda. The smell of roasted marshmallows made her mouth water, she however, wasn’t going anywhere nearer the flames. She knew how they burned skin, if it weren’t for the incendio spell casted at her the year before, she would have been fine and less traumatised, but whatever happened happened. Without waiting for a response, headed the other direction towards the tents. The girl pulled her coat tighter around her torso, trying to keep herself warm.
Who knows, perhaps she might find something interesting along the way. The forbidden forest was filled with creatures and a curious one might have just ventured into the campsite. Aurelia walked around the edge of the campsite, dangerously close to the forests but didn’t step a leg into the brush. She kept her eye peeled for any signs of movement in the trees but it was quite dark and hard to see.Actions: Perception Check

Amanda shrugged when Bloom corrected her. “Well, excuse me for offending you,” she said sarcastically. “I was only messing around anyways.”
A red-haired girl walked up and introduced herself as Amadea Campbell. “Hello, I’m Amanda Sparrow. Nice to meet you too.” She smiled at Amadea. When Aurelia hinted for Amadea to leave, however, Amanda frowned slightly. That’s not very nice.
Shortly after, a boy came over and told Aurelia and Amanda to apologize to the first years from earlier. “I didn’t mean to offend anybody. I was simply trying to be dramatic. Look, if it will make you feel better, I’ll go over and apologize right now.” Amanda stood up and walked over to the two first years. “Hey, I’m sorry if I was mean earlier when I said that your stories weren’t that scary. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings or anything. Hope you two enjoy the rest of your night!” She smiled as she walked back to where she was sitting.
When both Emma and Aurelia offered for her to tag along on different activities, Amanda froze. On one hand, Emma was her best friend, but on the other hand, Aurelia seemed like the person you definitely didn’t want to make an enemy of. Plus, Amanda was pretty sure that her grandparents had ties with the Bezuidenhout family and would be disappointed if Amanda didn’t try to befriend Aurelia. With a mouthed “Sorry” to Emma, Amanda jogged after Aurelia into the forest.
“Oh, I may be on the side of the angels, but don't think for one second that I am one of them.”

How I lost my position? Bloom never lost her position. She openly decided that it wasn't what she wanted. She was falling behind on her studies and she was in a relationship that was unknown and mysterious. There was no losing. Granted, Aurelia did not know that... No one did. It wasn't as though Bloom wrote in the Diadem about her stepping down. She just did it because she knew it was what was best for her. Even if she needed the money.Interaction: Aurelia, Amadea & Arthur
"I did not lose my position," she started, looking at the Gryffindor. She was about to keep going when she saw a friendly face from the tasting tent. It was Amadea, the prefect who took her position after she had stepped down. Bloom's heart was racing, she wanted to sock Aurelia in the face, but she needed to control her temper. This was already unlike her. Bloom was outgoing, adventurous and easy to get along with others. Now, she was the opposite.
Amadea sat next to her, asking how she was doing. Bloom was filled with too many emotions. She was angry, sad, disappointed and confused. There were no words as to how she was feeling. She only felt how much she wanted to make Aurelia shut her mouth. Taking a deep breath, she looked at Amadea and pretended to ignore Aurelia.
"Not that great. I'm just a bit out of it. I thought being out here would help clear my mind. But I guess not when there are pests about," she whispered the ending quietly for only Amadea to hear, referring to Aurelia. Bloom felt she was doing a good job ignoring the Gryffindor behind them, but it seemed that her skill was falling short.
Bloom looked over to a little Hufflepuff that had come up with her. She remembered meeting him during the baking."Oh hi, Arthur, I--" she paused. He was a really nice person and Bloom wanted to be in his company, but she could not help but to listen to Aurelia shooting back a comment with Bloom being able to answer. Aurelia mentioned that perhaps making smores would make her mood less foul.
Bloom shot up and looked back at Aurelia, her anger rising. "Here's what you don't get," she started, ignoring how many people were around her. She walked up towards Aurelia, her hands in fists. "It seems that you've forgotten who I am..." Bloom paused. Should she say it? Bloom didn't care. She would use Ben as leverage. It was mean and cruel, but she needed this girl to shut her trap.
"...And my relationship with the masked student. Perhaps you should hold your tongue or you'll be next," she threatened. Bloom said it... This isn't even like her. Granted, Ben would do anything she asked. Granted, it wasn't even Ben but rather the mask that controls him. He told her everything. And here she goes, using that information to threaten another. Bloom was so angry she didn't care, but deep down, she regretted those words.

Anastasia had been quite looking forward to the sleepover, despite the fact that she wasn't much for scary stories. She just found them silly considering the things that she had grown up knowing to be a fact. Still, she sat at the fire, listening to the stories the other students told. They were rather silly, but a bit scarier than she would have found them, had she been reading them in the Gryffindor Common Room or her bedroom back home. She still wasn't going to attempt to tell one of the silly stories, especially when she considered the fact that she didn't actually know any.
She looked around and saw a blonde girl who looked vaguely familiar. Thinking for a moment, she registered the blonde as one of the new prefects. A Slytherin, wasn't she? In any event, Anastasia was trying to get to know the other prefects since they'd be working together for a while. She hopped up and walked over. As she reached the Slytherin, she saw another girl had already approached her. The more, the merrier, right?
"Hi there, I'm Anastasia. Do you two mind if I join you?" she said brightly. She inwardly scolded herself at her words. Her mother had always said that a Beckett didn't ask questions when she introduced herself since it made her seem uncertain. Before hearing any response from the other girls, she heard sharp voices from nearby. She tried to see who it was before deciding whether or not she was supposed to do anything. She recognized Aurelia from their house sleepover and the Hufflepuff prefect, so she turned back to the two girls she'd just approached.

Delighted she was to know that the Ravenclaw (Amanda) had chosen to come along. It wasn’t that she was afraid of being a lone but rather that she enjoyed company. Looking around aimlessly by the edge of the forbidden forest was not something appealing and interesting to do alone. Her hopes for a good night had suddenly seem possible until she heard someone call out for her from behind.
The high pitch yell from the small girl almost made her ears hurt. The girl clearly was furious as she stormed towards Aurelia. Bloom stopped right in front of the Gryffindor with her hands in fist. Aurelia took a step back, even though Bloom was slightly shorter, she was dangerously close.
For some people, anger was something hard to contain once it was unleashed. Even though Aurelia hadn’t said much, she sure had ticked the Ravenclaw off that she looked like she was about to explode at any second. Clearly furious Bloom was as she searched for stinging words through her anger. But what came out took Aurelia by surprise, it was now that she had concluded that she would not enjoy the rest of the sleepover.
Bloom Silverton had just threatened her but the way she did it was extremely unprofessional. Clearly, Ben Eckenrode was a mere tool to her, no wonder their relationship ended. Of all people Bloom was to mess with, she just had to threaten Aurelia Bezuidenhout. The Ravenclaw would be a fool if she thought she was going to be let of so easily.
Aurelia let out a mocking laugh, as if she wasn’t taking Bloom any seriously. “Excuse me? I believe YOU have forgotten who I am, Silverton. I am Aurelia Bezuidenhout. Do you even know who the Bezuidenhout are? I’m not even mentioning the Schütte. ”
“If you think you can threaten me, you are wrong. I have the power to turn the whole school against you, don’t try and play with me. I swear, if I get hurt and my parents find out you have anything to do with it, you and your family are ever going to regret meeting me.” Aurelia roared menacingly. They were far away from the bonfire where most of the students were, so it wasn’t liable that the others heard her. It was possible with the Gryffgazette, Aurelia could turn the school against her, with evidence of course. Her parents also had enough money to turn another weaker family bankrupt. Assuming by the fact that Bloom’s parents actually let their pureblood Daughter be in a relationship with a muggleborn and that she had never heard of the Silverton, Bloom’s family was no problem for Aurelia’s.
“I thought you and Ben broke up. Clearly you are only using him as a tool to threaten others, No wonder he doesn’t want to be with you any more.” she spat the words in a whisper.

Her eyes jumped up, looking at the red-headed girl who approached her. "No, of course! Please do." Alexx responded, smiling. It was rather nice to be spoken to in such a way. Not many would have come up to Alexx, as she appeared as a loner and not open to those who may have wished to speak with her. But Alexx was nothing of the sort; she liked people, and people liked her most of the time. That was that. "Je m'apelle Alexx. Comment tu t'apelle?" She asked, sticking her hand out for the girl to shake. Most people knew French as far as she knew, so it wouldn't be too hard to get them to at the very least guess what she was saying.
The mystery girl who approached her appeared nice. To be entirely fair, anyone who just speaks to people in a kind tone even when they do not know them has to be nice. If not, then they set themselves up for the stereotype. But the girl seemed as though she may be bubbly, or outgoing, or anything really. Alexx appreciated that, because Merlin knows she was having a rough day. Or perhaps even just a rough year. It was hard to come by something that made events more bearable.
And then, as if tonight was her lucky night, another girl approached the two. Alexx could vaguely recall this girl as a prefect, so in other words, ones that made her sound more sophisticated and entitled to a position (though she would not view herself in that way, because who cares, honestly?), this was "a friend from work". Though they weren't friends; the two did not know each other. But she asked to join the two of them, and who was Alexx to turn away more company? She was rather popular this evening, after all. "Of course! Plus on est de fous, plus on rit!" She cheerfully responded, beaming at the other girl. In English, she would have stated "the more the merrier!" however, the French phrase was "the more fools, the merrier" and for this, she did not know why, but she liked the term.

People were fighting. Hormonal teenagers. Marissa resisted the urge to roll her eyes at their constant bickering. One girl said the stories were bad and the other tried to defend whoever told the stories. Of course it was a Gryffindor who was 'brave' enough to say how bad the stories were. Or cocky enough. Marissa was not really listening, too focused on the fire in front of her. But the fighting had begone to get annoying and getting on Mari's nerves. Probably others as well but she did not pay attention that. Obviously Marissa knew these people, since they were both Second Years along with her. Bloom Silverton, old Ravenclaw prefect, extremely smart and popular. What Mari saw and heard was that Bloom was going out with Ben, the boy who was controlled by the Mask. And then there was Aurelia Bezuidenhour. The girl with the last name no one could possibly pronounce except from her and her family.
Hearing Aurelia use her family as a threat made Marissa use her all of her will power not to roll her eyes. She had met the Gryffindor on the carriages when they first came into the Second Year. Apart from that, she did not socialise with either of these students. Mari got fed up of the fighting and stood up, walking impatiently over to the two bickering girls. "S-stop acting l-like children. W-wa-walk away." Marissa stood in front of Bloom, facing towards Aurelia with a frown. The stuttering probably made her seem stupid and fragile. But Mari stood her ground and defend Bloom. After a few seconds of a death stare, the Hufflepuff turned around to Bloom and awkwardly smiled. "W-would you like to sh-share a tent with me?" Mari probably knew that the Ravenclaw would reject her, but Marissa tried her best to get the two girls away from eachother as soon as possible.

Now was the part where someone had to strut their wealth and name. Bloom, who came from a lower-middle class society, did not have a name that was famous or wealthy. She came from a financially unstable family that worked hard to make ends meet. Listening to people such as Aurelia flaunt their high class economic status was sickening to Bloom, however, it calmed her down. She realized how much it was not worth it to fight back someone who was narrow minded to begin with.
Bloom looked the Gryffindor up and down and gave a small smirk. "I could care less about who you are. To me, at this moment, you're as rotten as an apple," she said, hinting at the fact that wealth meant she was spoiled. Bloom was about to say one more thing to her when there was a Hufflepuff that got between her and Aurelia. It was Marissa North-- Bloom remembered meeting her a year ago. Although Marissa meant for them both to stop, the fact that she had faced Aurelia made Bloom calm down even more as it seemed that someone was on her side.
Bloom returned the small smile to Marissa and nodded. "Sure, I'd love to," she agreed, happy to have someone who wasn't a Prefect step in. Bloom had then ignored the presence of Aurelia and walked towards Marissa's tent. She was glad that she was able to share a tent with someone as she did not bring one herself. There were many things that her family could not afford and one of them was a tent.
"Thanks, Marissa," she said to the second-year Hufflepuff. "I don't know what got over me. I've been a bit more aggressive since Ben and I broke up," she confessed.
