The two badgers had walked down to the great hall together hardly saying a word. Scarlett sat at the Hufflepuff table like she always did, she tried to aim for the seats on the further end. It looked like the seats at the end were already taken, she looked for some seats somewhere near the end of the table but there was none. She decided to sit in the middle of the table and saw made sure there was a seat next to her- it would only make sense for Mark to want to sit next to her.
She quickly sat down- she didn't have any time to change her clothes so she was wearing the same out fit she had been wearing in the Hufflepuff Common Room. Her hair did look a bit frizzier than it was in the common room but it wasn't so frizzy that it was going to get in her way while she ate.
Dinner had begun once they sat down. She chose to eat only a bit like she always did, she put a ham sandwich, some roast potatoes and peas on her plate. She didn't eat just yet, she decided to see if Mark had chosen to sit next to her or not.

When he and Scarlett entered the Great Hall, he followed her to the Hufflepuff table and looked for some empty seats. He looked back at Scarlett and noticed that she was already sitting down in the middle of the table. Mark walked over to her and sat down beside her. He than looked at where his brother sat and waved at him. He noticed that he also waved back. Mark looked back at Scarlett and decided to inform her that the person who he waved at is his brother so he said,
"I waved at my brother. I normally sit with him, but I decided to sit with you since there were no more seats near him."
Mark than noticed that the food appeared. He looked at the options and decided to take some chicken and veggies, since he normally gets that anyways.
He than began to eat his dinner while everyone else was eating. He was definitely glad that he and Scarlett had both came to the Great Hall together, since he didnt really want to be late for dinner at all, since they'll probably be no more seats available when he did come.
One time he came to dinner late, and there was only one seat available, but he didnt like where he was sitting, but ended up sitting there anyways.
