─────"Yeah," Seven said quickly. "I'd still like to learn guitar. I'll, um, see you later."

Linda left and they watched her walk away, thinking about what had happened. Were they friends with her? It all seemed to have happened so fast.

Seven decided to think of Linda as a friend. Maybe they wouldn't call her one out loud, but in their head, they would say she was their friend. She had wanted to hang out, after all. That was surely a sign that she wished to get to know Seven better. That she wanted to be friends, or, if the two were already friends, that Linda and Seven could become even better friends.

Of course, there was the chance that Linda didn't really mean anything she had said. She simply wanted to get rid of Seven and have fun with good friends. However, they had been telling themself to be less negative and more confident, so that was what they were going to do.

They at least had to try. Even though it was hard, even though it would probably get harder. Because the reward would be great. It would be amazing. Seven just had to work for the grand prize.
