The Place of Knowledge
The Library, a place Axyen was all too familiar with. He silently spent most of his time here studying various topics. Axyen was usually reading something, and the library seemed to have it all, which occupied him for hours and hours, just reading which could keep in the library for long periods of time and he would never notice how quickly time flew.
This time Axyen was here to look for information on Muggles, he didn't know much about them thanks to his mother. However, now that he was at Hogwarts, nothing could stop him from learning now. The library seemed to have infinite books and Axyen was struggling to look for the books, and he was to shy to ask for help, even from the house elves.
Axyen continued to browse through the various shelves, silently moving along the wooden floor and Axyen subconsciously made sure not even make a sound, being careful to not trip and not move his finger along the spines of the books.
Axyen found a book that seemed promising - the only issue was, it was too high for him to reach. He tried standing on his toes, even jumping but not too high so he didn't attract any attention but it still didn't work. He didn't know the levitation charm, so he couldn't even use that to get his book. Axyen was worried no, how would he get his book?

The Place of Knowledge
As the library was one of Jack's favorite places, it was no wonder the fourth year could be found there with a stack of his favorite history books in his arms. As one of his favorite pastimes was comparing muggle history with wizard history, he happened to be wandering around the section of books on muggles when he spotted an unfamiliar first year with brown hair and decked out in Hufflepuff colors. He almost reminded Jack of a bee with all his yellow stripes against black. The redhead grinned unconsciously and wondered what the younger boy was looking for.
He re-shelved some of the books in his arms as he watched the brunet, careful not to drop any, but it was fairly easy for him to know where they were supposed to go since he had borrowed them and put them back so often in the past. Thus he kept most of his attention on the unknown badger, trying to figure out what he might have been doing around the muggle books. Surely he couldn't have had Muggle Studies at such a young age, so why? Was he simply curious about muggles? Or was he perhaps interested in a wizard's perspective of muggles and the muggle world?
As he put away his last book, he noticed the boy try to stand on his toes, focusing on what seemed to be a particular book that was pretty high up. Next, he appeared to try to jump for it but he still couldn't seem to reach. Jack, who was not much taller than the 143 cm (4 feet, 8.4 inches) boy since he himself was around 160 cm (5 feet, 3 inches) didn't think he could reach the book on his own either, but he didn't need to. Not when he knew the Summoning Charm. He just had to be sure he knew which book the boy wanted in order to summon it down for him.
"Hello," the Slytherin greeted the underclassman pleasantly, beaming as he held up a hand. "You look like you could use a little help, there. What was the name of the book you were wanting? I could get it for you if you like."

Axyen was still trying to reach for the book. Muggle Fairytales was the book Axyen was trying to get as he always heard fun little stories about wizards, so he was hoping to have a similar joy when it came to reading about these fun stories created by Muggles. What would they be about? How similar would they be to wizard fairytales?
Axyen still was unable to get Muggle Fairytales until he suddenly he heard a completely new voice that sounded like it was directed towards him. Axyen turned to the right slightly nervous at the words. 'Hello,' Axyen turned to see a boy slightly taller than him and looked older as well. He listened as the Slytherin offered help.
"Y-yes please." Axyen said looking back at the book he was trying to get. "I... I'm trying to get Muggle Fairytales right up there." Axyen added, pointing to the book, it looked more colorful in comparison to most of the other Muggle books, like The History of Muggles although the wording was to complex for Axyen to understand.
Axyen thought it was nice of the Slytherin to help him, maybe his family was wrong about Slytherins, although at the same time they were Gryffindors and there was a specific rivalry of some kind between Slytherin and Gryffindor, well according to his brother anyways, maybe it was because Axyen was Hufflepuff that a Slytherin decided to help him, although Axyen wasn't going to complain, it would be unfair to judge people based on their houses.

Tristan sat in the corner of the library, reading his own copy of Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky. He sat in silence and was fully absorbed in the story, when he heard the sound of a familiar voice. He looked up and saw Burnett, who he had met once in the library before, asking to help the young bumblebee. Tristan was interested in the sudden conversation on muggle literature, as he was one of the few pure bloods who could confidently say he was an expert of such a world. He stood up and carefully walked towards the two boys and asked, “Hello! My name is Tristan, did you say you were interested in the Muggle World? I can help you with that if you’d like?” It was indeed something he believed all wizards should learn about, because wizards have been stagnating for three hundred years, staying in the past and never moving forward. The muggle world was the opposite, now far surpassing the world in which they lived in, becoming better than anything the Wizarding world had produced in years. The majority of the older wizards could not even believe the fact muggles had gone to the moon, nor the fact that they now had their own form of semi-permanent lighting, or a way to communicate between thousands of miles in moments, although the wizards still had the upper hand in transportation as of the moment. Even their understanding of the world was far more deeper than wizards had ever discovered, having a far more deeper sense of curiosity than most here in the Wizarding world, who were comfortable with the status quo. Tristan on the other hand still hoped to find a way to combine the two worlds and for both societies to benefit from each other. That is perhaps why he had considered for a while the campaign for the greater good in the history books, but it was no longer a feasible solution as the muggles clearly had the upper hand in the present.

Surprised that the boy seemed to stammer, Jack wondered if he might have found him intimidating or something. Maybe he was just shy. He hoped he wasn't scared of him. Still, at least he had answered Jack's question and told him which book he had been trying to get. That was all the redhead really needed.
"Accio Muggle Fairytales," he called after taking out his wand to perform the summoning charm. Immediately, the titled book flew from the shelf into his hand at an alarming speed - so quickly, in fact, that it actually hurt.
"Owww," Jack said, looking down at the book and switching it to his other hand as he flapped his hurt one, but he was grinning. "Guess I must have put a little too much concentration into that spell or something. Anyway, here you go," he told the brunet, offering the fairytales to the first year. "I really like fairytales, too! Especially the ones with tricksters in them."
The words had barely left his mouth when a newcomer - Tristan - walked up to them and introduced himself. Jack blinked at him. Tristan had asked if the boy had said he was interested in the muggle world, but Jack was pretty sure the boy hadn't said anything of the sort. "I think you might be assuming a bit, Theramin," he chuckled, giving Tristan an incredulous grin. "Just because he wanted a book on muggle fairytales doesn't necessarily mean he's interested in the muggle world. Muggle fairytales aren't a very good example of what the muggle world is like, anyway." He smirked at the Hufflepuff. "I would know. I'm a mudblood, after all."
Stretching out his arms, Jack put away his wand in his pocket. "I'm Jack Burnett. I don't think I've seen you around here before, though. What's your name?"

Tristan smiled at the intelligence of Burnett’s words, his reply catching his attention. Indeed, he could concede to the fact that just because Muggle Fairy Tales were an interest to the young Hufflepuff it did not mean the world itself was an interest to the boy. He supposed it was just wishful thinking on his end but perhaps talking to a muggleborn would be a better alternative as Burnett had just revealed. He slightly bowed his head and with a slight, friendly smirk as well said, “I can definitely concede to that, Mr. Burnett. I’m Tristan Theramin. I have definitely seen you around as well, but it is a better pleasure to speak to you.”
Tristan wondered if Burnett was trying to cause some mischief while he was at it, though. He seemed to deliberately call himself mudblood in order to create notice in the Hufflepuff after all.
With a slight glint in his eyes, he added, “Although, that was quite an interesting manner to refer to yourself, if I may add.” Perhaps, the Slytherin was into mischief as Tristan had heard around here. Or, that was indeed what he had learned to call himself, nothing was certain just yet. He turned to address the Hufflepuff and spoke gently, “If you like fairy tales, I quite enjoy the story of Loki, if you would like some suggestions.”
Though it was indeed true, Tristan enjoyed Loki, it had the double purpose of also making Burnett be interested in him as well. He did not want to lose his companionship after all, as Tristan could tell he would be a good partner in crime or friend perhaps.

Axyen watched as the book flown into the older Slytherin's hand and then commented on liking fairytales as well. "Th-thanks..." Axyen said, he listened to the two's conversation and then paused his thoughts after hearing the word Mudblood. Did he really just call himself that? Axyen thought in shock, although he was too nervous and shy to say anything about it, his expression was certainly more of shock. The older boy then proceeded to introduce himself and ask Axyen his name. "O-oh I am Axyen.... A-Axyen Dragonclaw..." Axyen said, finally learning the boy's name: Jack Burnett.
"I actually am interested in the Muggle world..." Axyen said. Axyen felt like he heard his mother's voice. AXYEN STOP RIGHT NOW! ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU'RE GROUNDED! Axyen pushed away the thoughts. Tristan then mentioned the story of Loki as a suggestion. "W-who's Loki...? Axyen asked genuinely curious.
Axyen just simply just waited for a response while watching the two. Axyen finally decided to speak up about the Mudblood comment. "Y-you really shouldn't use t-that term..." Axyen said nervously. He did mean it though, he didn't want people calling themselves such things.
Axyen did take note at their preference of fairytales or stories with tricksters, maybe those were the really good stories, but Axyen couldn't assume yet, he never read the books after all.

"No problem," he answered in response to the younger boy's stammered thanks. "Good to meet you, Dragonclaw. Wow, that's a bloody wicked surname," Jack added, laughing. He had noticed Axyen's shocked expression at his use of the term 'mudblood', but didn't bring it up. He had said the word for a reason, though.
"Mr. Burnett' is my father," the redhead told Tristan with another laugh. "You can just call me Burnett, remember, Theramin?" He grinned when Tristan brought up the fact that he had referred to himself as 'mudblood'. He must have known he had called himself that on purpose. "But yes...I like to use the term 'mudblood' because it's shorter and catchier than 'muggle-born'. Also, if I use it often enough, I figure it will be harder for people to use it as an insult. Kind of like how the song Yankee Doodle was supposed to be an insult to Americans, but they turned it around and made it into a song they took pride in instead." He glanced at Axyen, wondering if the first year was following what he was saying. "Does...that make sense?"
"So you're interested in the muggle world?" Jack asked, repeating what Axyen had said. "Are you a pureblood, then? Or maybe a half-blood? If you ever want to know anything about the muggle world, you can ask me. I actually helped found a club once that was called the Miraculous Muggle-born Mudbloods Club. It was supposed to be a club where purebloods could get to learn about the muggle world and mudbloods could learn about the Wizarding world, but it kind of fell apart after the first meeting. The girl who founded it with me isn't really around anymore, either."
When Tristan brought up Loki and Axyen asked about it, Jack chuckled. Of course he would mention Loki. "Loki is the Norse God of Mischief," Jack explained, "as well as a character in a muggle comic book series by a company called Marvel. Theramin really likes him. I'll let him be the one to tell you more about him."

Axyen listened as Jack complimented Axyen's surname, it was definitely a more unusual one. "T-thanks..." Axyen said, listening as Jacob talked to Tristan. Axyen also listened to Jack's explanation for using the term 'Mudblood' it certainly was a clever idea, it would be harder for someone to insult Jack as well if Jack keeps casually referring to himself as such. Axyen still didn't like the word, and his face said so too, only for around five(5) seconds anyways.
"Th-that's clever." Axyen said, he wanted to know how 'Yankee Doodle' was an insult, but didn't think he should ask, or maybe that was just an excuse of out being shy and nervous. He still thought about how Jack used the term 'Mudblood' it was clever, Axyen would just never get used to it, or maybe he would, but Axyen thought he'd never get used to the term being used, especially when one uses it on themself.
Axyen noticed Jack ask Axyen for his blood status. "I-I am a p-pureblood..." Axyen said, answering Jack's question. Axyen listened as Jack was talking about the down fall of the Miraculous Muggle-born Mudbloods Club and listened as Jacob explained its purpose and how it fell apart. "O-oh..." Axyen said, in truth, he never saw himself ever joining that club, mostly because of the term 'Mudblood'.
Axyen listened as Jack explained who Loki was. "O-oh... t-that sounds c-cool..." Axyen said, as much as nobody would ever believe it, Axyen had a thing for mischief, he was waiting for the perfect time to do a harmless prank, but being at Hogwarts made Axyen forget all about making jokes and making his own pranks and focusing more on studying instead.
Axyen noticed Jack mention a company called 'Marvel' which interested Axyen completely. "M-Marvel? W-what's that...?" Axyen asked, curious.

Tristan laughed inwardly at Burnett’s insistence at not being referred to as Mr.Burnett but all he let out was a smirk and he jested back, “Well then, should I lose all my hard earned poshness and just call you Jack?” as he winked in response. He didn’t know what was up with him today but teasing and joking seemed to be in his blood today. The wink was probably unexpected by what he had revealed last time he spoke with Burnett, but Tristan did indeed enjoy a bit of surprise when he could. He continued addressing Burnett and asked, “Or would that be a bit too intimate for me?”
He then began to speak to Axyen and said, “I have not introduced myself yet have I?” He then began to introduce himself with a flourish saying “Multicorfors” changing his clothes to the color yellow and black. He bowed with an exaggerated flourish, and said, “Tristan Theramin at your service, the heir of the Noble House of Theramin.” He continued, however, by saying, “However, circumstances of my life, let us say, has made me greatly appreciative and intimately familiar with the muggle world. I would be willing as well to help you learn more about the Muggle World as you desire.”
He paused for a moment allowing the words to be appreciated then said, “Starting with Marvel… Marvel is a company that created comic books which are books with drawings rather than paragraphs of words, and movies.” If he didn’t know about Marvel, perhaps Axyen did not know about movies either. So, Tristan added, “Movies are like photographs with people moving and talking but longer, up to two or more hours if you’ve never heard of them.”
Tristan paused then began to consider the Dragonclaw last name as he believes he’s heard it somewhere before. He asks gently “Did you have siblings that went here? I feel like the last name is familiar?”
Tristan was acting totally different from how he acted the first time he met Burnett but now he had the chance to convince a new generation of Purebloods to join his quest for joining the Muggle and Magical World, and ruling over them both from the shadows. He supposed he could surprise Jack even further and act totally different from what he was in actual life so with mischievous glint in his eyes, he looked at Burnett to hint he was going to do something then, cast the spell “Crinus Muto ” on himself, changing his color green. He then began to exclaim the great things about Loki with the biggest smile on his face like a crazy Hufflepuff, “Loki is a Slytherin through and through in the Marvel Movies. He’s the God of Mischief with great desire for ambition and cunning. He is my favorite character because I relate to him.”
