So much was on her mind these days, there was homework to do, letters to reply too.. and don't get her started on all those arts and crafts she tried to do. Cicely walked down the path towards the grounds, determined to release her thoughts. She had woken up at seven today, did her morning routine before working in the library to jot her words down. She sent an owl to Allegra too, but allegra must be still asleep. She smiled softly. Allegra was always so grouchy in the mornings. She also took way too long getting out of bed. she wondered what it'd be like if Allegra stayed over at hers. would she blow a hairdryer in her face to wake her up? Ah well..
she walked past a patch of daisies and she stopped. Fond memories of the days she used to make multiple daisy chains flooded back to her. like an inner child appearing, she bent down and collected a few daisies before curling up underneath a big oak tree and starting to make a daisy chain. She then began to hum and mumur the lyrics. "I look for his arrows everyday.." she wistfully hummed, eyes focused on the daisy chain. she wanted it to be perfect. Maybe she could collect some more and stick them to her notebook, check on them a few days later and use them as stickers? she didn't know.
a rush of air escaped out of her mouth and she closed her eyes, she felt so tired all of a sudden. She leaned back against the tree trunk and closed her eyes for a moment.
By the time she opened her eyes, it seemed that she fell asleep. she fluttered her eyelids and her mouth opened slightly as she took in her surroundings. No more cloudy skies, but a brilliant shining sun. She sat up and looked up. huh? Had she fallen asleep?

Elizabeth had been up since 5, dresses in her everything-blue clothes and the Ravenclaw badge pinned on her cloak. Today was her mum's birthday, and a perfect birthday she would make it. First thing was going down to the kitchen to ask the house-elves kindly if they would make a birthday cake for her mum. Then she went down the grounds at 6 to gather flowers, carrying a basket. She went to a patch of daisies. Wow. This place is wow.
She bent down and picked her flowers, they were so beautiful, so soft in her hands. She lay down in the sea of glass, on the dirt and mud, and looked at the sky. Was it so forget-me-not-blue, the color of the eagles. A poem flashed across her head:
Here I am under the forget-me-not-blue,
The sky that felt like I just flew.
Like the eagle of proud Ravenclaw,
Like the lion scratching it's paws,
Like the snake slithering behind me,
Like the badger invited for tea.
She searched for paper and quill to write it all down. Then she stood up.
Elizabeth was half way through picking more flowers when she noticed a tree nearby containing large, red, fresh apples. She wondered for a moment if she was allowed to pick a few. She did it without thinking twice, and in the attempt walked to the other side of the tree. There was a girl, short brown hair, leaning against the tree trunk. She seemed to have just woken up from a sleep.
"Hi!" she said casually, attempting to reach high for the apples, "You know, if I were you I'd get away from here as quickly as possible, seeing as these apples may fall down any moment." She did not speak in any tone but a light one, and she was merely stating her opinion, which did not mean anything.

Danielle didn't have much to do that morning; it was just after breakfast and she was feeling in the mood for a stroll by the grounds. She hadn't been there a lot that semester, and had decided to take the time to enjoy the sights and sounds at Hogwarts. It seemed that many others had thought the same thing, as Danielle spotted quite a few people dotting the otherwise empty scenery.
She had been walking for a few minutes in silence when she came across a pretty daisy field under the shade of large oak trees. She briefly thought of making flower crowns with the daisies, but it had been a long time since she had made any. In the end, she decided not to try, because it would be rather destructive to kill innocent plants for the sake of an art project.
While walking by, she saw a Gryffindor girl sitting under the tree, humming a song while making daisy chains. It looked very interesting, but after a while, the girl had fallen asleep, so Danielle decided to come ask her about how she made the daisy chains later.
When she passed by again, the clouds had changed in the sky and there was another young Ravenclaw next to her.
She approached them and asked the Gryffindor, "Excuse me, but I think your daisy chains are very pretty and I'd like to know how to make them myself. If that's okay?"

The Gryffindor who had been dozing off sleepily got up, moving away from the ripe, red apples. They looked rather delicious. For a second, Danielle's intrusive thoughts urged her to shake the tree and make them fall, so that they'd be easier to grab. She finally decided to pick the fruits later, when she was sure they wouldn't harm anyone when falling down.
"Thanks," she said. "Sorry if I woke you," she added. Danielle knew how annoying it was to be suddenly woken while napping.
"It's okay," she assured when the Gryffindor apologized for not explaining well. "Maybe you could demonstrate?"
She introduced herself as Cicely, and the other Ravenclaw's name was Elizabeth. Both were very pretty names. Danielle thought she had seen Elizabeth around a few times, maybe at the Ravenclaw table or common room. She wasn't sure if she'd seen Cicely around, though. Maybe today was the day she made two new friends! "And I'm Danielle. Danielle Emberwood. But you guys can calal me Dani or Dane. I really don't mind."
She took a seat, and started searching for daisies with long stalks, as Cicely had said. Once she had collected around fifteen or so, she piled them in a stack at her feet.
