I'm sorry, that was a terrible start. I'd use a different bit of parchment but I don't have much left so I'll have to carry on on this one.
My name is Lucia. I'm in Hufflepuff and the same year as you, so you might have seen me in class. (I'm the one with the black-blue hair, if that helps.) We've met twice I think - I played in the snowball fight last year - but I don't know if you'll remember the last time: just before you fainted, you grabbed me in the corridor and asked me to go get help. I'm really sorry for how unhelpful my reaction was. In case you don't remember, I wasn't really sure what was happening so just stood there like an idiot. Anyway, that's only part of why I'm writing to you. I went into the Hospital Wing today and you weren't there, so you must have woken up. How are you doing? I hope that you're okay. I just wanted to check in on you because I couldn't bear it if something horrible had happened because I didn't do anything quick enough.

Dear Lucia,
I appreciate your concern. I remember you from class and the snowball fight. Regarding the day I passed out, I am sorry, I only remember grabbing someone near. I apologize for giving you a fright.
I have indeed woken up and I feel a lot better now, whatever made me faint is gone from my system now- as to what that is, which is something I am sure you are wondering as well, I cannot tell you exactly yet.
Please don't blame yourself for anything, I assure you that there was nothing you could have done to prevent it. Hogwarts was never the safe place we were all meant to believe and- as weird as the sounds- it is not the first time that I am being messed with by dark magic.
