Magical Reading
Louisa sat in the quiet Library.
She was almost alone, except for a few other students, who were minding their own things. She was reading a book, a fantasy book, she took from home.
It was about a girl, who fell in love with a beast. Though the beast had cursed himself in becoming one, he didn't know how to reverse it. Only the girl would be his solution to the curse that laid upon him.
Usually when she was reading, she always had something to eat with her, but now, as her stomach rumbled, she noticed she hadn't even a piece of chocolate with her in the common room.
She looked around her, making sure no one saw her. When she made sure no one would see her here, she went through the pile of books she had on the left of her chair, and looked for the book 'Cooking the Muggle Way' by Mordicus Egg.
She found it at the bottom of the pile, and opened it to the dessert page. Going through the desserts, she saw Cheesecake, Ice-cream, Chocolate- Raspberry muffins, and different kinds of pudding.
Louisa decided that she wanted muffins, and when she made sure no one was looking for a second time, she began reading the instructions of the recipe in a whisper to herself.
“And when they're done baking in a Muggle oven (which is important, then they taste extra tasty) you have your delicious Chocolate- Raspberry Muffins. Enjoy!"She whispered. There was a soft ringing sound, and next to hear, appeared two delicious muffins. She took one, and closed the book.
Louisa gasped as a pair of eyes were watching her in both shock and awe. She had been seen.

Cameron smiled at her and waved, "Hello I'm Cameron is this seat taken?" he asked her with a sparkle in his eyes. He looked around at the other students and random books that are flying in the air back to their bookshelves. It had been a week since he was in the Library last he was trying his best to avoid it at all costs. But here he was again - at the Library. This time instead of sitting by himself near the window he thought he could join another student. He thought about helping a first year with homework if he got lucky. The other students around him it was hard for him to spot their years at Hogwarts. He glanced at the muffins that were on the table. Cameron leaned in and whispered, "Cooking isn't allowed in the Library or a snack thereof. Don't worry your secret is safe with me. I like cooking also my mum she always makes Shepherd's Pie for Christmas holiday. I dunno what she will be making this year in time for Halloween since I'm not there. I know dad likes cookies if I had to pick a favorite cookie mine is chocolate chip," said Cameron as he shrugged and pushed up the rim of glasses back onto his nose.

"Hello I'm Cameron is this seat taken?" The boy asked. Louisa shook her head,
"My name is Louisa." She said and gestured for Cameron to sit down in the chair next to her. The boy was a Gryffindor, and Louisa found it special that a Gryffindor talked to her. Normally they would ignore her.
"Cooking isn't allowed in the Library or a snack thereof. Don't worry your secret is safe with me. I like cooking also my mum she always makes Shepherd's Pie for Christmas holiday. I dunno what she will be making this year in time for Halloween since I'm not there. I know dad likes cookies if I had to pick a favorite cookie mine is chocolate chip," Cameron told her. Louisa chuckled, and mover het book from her lap.
"Yes, I know, but I was so hungry, I couldn't wait until dinner. And Shepherd's Pie is delicious! My mother makes is every year as well. And I think I prefer just sugar cookies, I could eat a lot of them." She said as she smiled at the boy. She thought about how she enjoyed the sugar cookies at home. Her mom used to bring them to her bed every friday evening. And if she was lucky, her mom would read her a story, while she snacked from the sugary cookies, and listened to the beautiful stories her mom would tell her.
She took a quick glance at his face, not wanting to be awkward, but she worried she already was a bit awkward, due to the silence.
He wore glasses, and had a sparkle in his eyes, which made Louisa feel like he's really not going to tell anyone about the muffins.
"Do you want the other muffin maybe? If we eat them behind a book like this," Louisa held up her Hogwarts, A Historybook, and took a big bite of the muffin. "they won't notice!" She chuckled.

Cameron noticed Louisa pick up her book and stand it on the table as normal to eat the muffin. He sat down across from her and placed his school bag on the floor at his feet. "Thank you. Although I am saving my appetite for dinner. Thanks for the offer though. My mum never really read me stories I was always in front of the tele watching cartoons. My dad was into reading the paper I haven't read an article yet from the Daily Prophet. I do hear the other students talk about various news reports within the wizarding community. Did you know that a Foe-Glass has shown someone the future? I never thought a Dark Detector would have Divination practices," said Cameron leaning in with his wide-eyes and a smile excited to share the news. He had a feeling as the years progressed he would learn something new like Dark Detectors in Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Cameron was curious about last lesson he was wondering why he came into the Library. It could've been to socialize or study up for the next homework or exam coming up. He noticed a dust particle in the air and moved it away with his right hand to look at Louisa.
