Skipping stones
Elizabeth was neutral about her opinion on the great out doors, and nature it self. On one hand, it was pleasant, and sometimes even peaceful to get fresh air refreshing your sense to remind you that there more than wall's, and hall's to walk past there tree's, and bushes, and more for you to explore if your up to the task. On the other hand nature can be rather irradiating, and unknowable of it's actions to come..with bug's, and dangerous thing's always lurking around the corner, you could describe the feeling as frightening? though Elizabeth would simply walk away not even giving the creature a second glance if so were to happen- But there was something else to lay on the scale of opinion, and that was the beauty of what the world has made for human being's, and creatures of all kind's to enjoy. a magnificent example would be the great lake, that lied ahead of her exploration like every thing else in this school it was rather beautiful, and perfect in some ways-- or at least that what she thought.
several other hill's lied beyond, and along the great lake territory. the water was slightly murky to say the least, with the color of the water being a strange, and awkward shade of blue. none the less it was still gorgeous- laying among the shore of sorts were small rocks, and pebbles living there meaningless life on the ground of a world so strange, and mysterious in so many way's.. Elizabeth crouched down, and managed to pick up a small rock, it was flat, smooth, but yet a bumpy texture to it around the edges. almost shaped like a coin in weird way. Ignoring the strange rock she decided to try out what skipping stones would be like for her time being at the great lake.. she stood facing the water at a slight angle, the rock in her dominate hand- which would be her left hand. she tugged her arm back a bit, almost like a pitcher of sort's, and threw the rock at what she hoped to be at the right force, and angle. though sadly mistake it plopped in the water, leaving the water to ripple as the stone sunk in to the lake slowly, not even one skip made it across the water's. rather disappointing to say the least..

Skipping stones
Louisa had come to the lake to take a moment to her own. She knew the lake was here, and water has always fascinated her.
After shooing some girls away, who were annoying here, she sat down.
Her beautiful brown owl came flying towards her, to keep her company, and to deliver a letter, from her family. She opened it, the letter revealing a drawing from Jona. He loved to draw nature, and on the paper was a plant Louisa did not know, with a question written underneath it: Can you please look for this plant and when you come home please tell me how it looks in real life? Love, Jona
The plant looked weird, and Jona had used many colors to describe the plant the best he could, but Louisa couldn't remember any plant that looked like this. Maybe someone could help her. If only she had some friends.
She looked up at the owl, which she named Jupiter, who was cleaning his feathers.
"You wouldn't know either would you?" She asked the owl. Jupiter ignored her and kept cleaning.
A splash caught her attention.
Louisa peered up from her owl, looking at the part of the water what rippled a few feet away. She saw a girl standing at the edge of the lake, looking rather disappointed.
From the color of her robes, Louisa could make out that the girl was sorted into Ravenclaw. By the way she looked at the water, Louisa figured she was trying to skip some stones across the water.
Louisa stood up, wondering if she should go to the girl, and maybe ask her about the plant Jona drew. Ravenclaws were very smart, right?
She was still thinking whether she would go to the girl. But before she could properly think about her decisions, Jupiter made a loud sound, and flew off, leaving Louisa standing with messy hair, and the girl looking towards her.

Skipping stones
Elizabeth sighed sorely disappointed- though with failure you must try once more to have any chance at succeeding. she turned around, and began to scavenge once again though she was interrupted by a load noise of sorts- could it just be creature minding it daily business? she turned towards the noise stopping the task she had set out, to see a young female standing there her hair messy- did the loud noise come from her? she wondered. maybe she should see if the girl was alright? "Excuse me miss, are you alright?" she spoke in a soft tone, hoping to not scare them off.
this was a rather strange to say the least, she took a step forward towards the girl, while she tidy up her robe a bit just hoping once more that she wouldn't scare her off, she looked to be roughly around the same age as her so she must be a newcomer as well? what ever the case was she would be getting some socializing time out of this conversation hopefully, though she could be wrong like she was wrong with the stone-- actually this is no time, and there shouldn't be a time she should ever doubt herself one bit.

"Excuse me miss, are you alright?" The girl asked. The girl took a few steps towards her, tidying her robe and giving Louisa a soft smile, which Louisa thought was really pretty.
Louisa figured there was no turning back now, so she tried to fix her hair a bit, and walked towards the Ravenclaw Girl.
Ravenclaws, from what her father told her (he was a Ravenclaw himself) are very smart, and the girl certainly looked smart to Louisa.
She hid the drawing Jona made in her robe, wanting to safe that for a bit later, and smiled softly.
"Yes, sorry, My owl flew away, and screamed. He likes to do that a lot, bit annoying really." Louisa said still trying to fix her hair, but eventually giving up. Louisa thought the girl looked really sweet, and she somewhere remembered her from the sorting.
She remembered the girl standing in the crowd of first years, when Louisa sat in the chair, and was sorted into Slytherin.
She suddenly gasped, when Louisa realised she hadn't even properly introduced herself.
"I apologize! I haven't told you my name. My name is Louisa Dukov, first year Slytherin." She said as she reached out her hand.

People are amusing, they've never been this amusing in the real world though they've mostly been ignorant, and destructive of what they do- But people here there strange to say the least humans in general were strange, but they lacked entertainment in there strange way's at times. the girl fussed with her hair for a few moments, and gave up. Elizabeth grinned at the girl "Ah your owl seems to be a troublesome maker, or maybe they saw a moment that could taken for you to get out more to people?" Analyzing people was simple to her just by the moment you meet them, you can make out what type of personality that might have just threw actions, and simple conversations, even without ever having to ask a question about them.
She seemed to recall seeing the young female from before though it would probably have been seeing her at the crowd of first year's rumbling in to get sorted, so there was no point to actually remembering face's in there unless they seemed unique or interesting to Elizabeth. the girl held out her hand introducing herself sounding a bit frantic to say the least. "Hm, well miss dukov. I'm Elizabeth Megido, first year ravenclaw it's a pleasure to meet you." Elizabeth was a bit surprised to see the girl was a slytherin actually. she would have suspected her of being a hufflepuff of sorts. certainly not like most the slytherins she has encountered- but at least this was something new to ponder about.
