Anti socialness, with a Dose of Anxiety
"Wowww~ Your Mother actually grew UP on a ranch? With MAGICAL CREATURES?!" I totally wish I could have done that!!! Just living with so many wonderful creatures- i could be just like Scamander!!! He realized that in his passion he had raised his voice once more, and covered his mouth with his hands. "sorry- I just....love them so much.." He mutters, embarrassed. she has to tell me everything she knows! Perhaps I can document it in my sketchbook! No- stop being so pushy Near- you're going to scare her away... "I think I would like your Mother too, although her daughter seems just as exquisite.." he reassured her, smiling softly.
He was surprised that people didn't listen to someone like Scarlett. She was very interesting, just like him. A person's worth shouldn't be judged by their outside or demeanors....we are just as special as anyone else... "W-well- um- if you really don't mind..." he smiled cheekily, counting the various things that would make the Ravenclaw Corridors so much more interesting. "For starters, We could use magic to, like, u-um, make it so that the background is very much so llike an actual bird dwelling, with cliffs and wide open skies, of course. And for the students who are afrai of heights, we c-could have u-um, like a forest habitat, where they could live instead! And- and we could have comfortable nests with bedding instead of actual bunks, that way we could really feel as if we were in a bird ecosystem! Maybe- um- we could live with actual birds in nesting grounds, that way students who want to um- study them- would have the opportunity to do so on a regular basis!" Or perhaps I am only suggesting this because I would love to study them on a daily basis... he didn't really think the other Ravenclaws would approve....they were friendly, yes....but not to him. Only Avhira had talked to him thus far- and that was mainly because of Qrow. Qrow....he would love to live with his small Crow friends...
He was sad, that someone as interesting as Scarlett hadn't made any friends yet. "Yes, I do have some friends....um- Snow, Qrow, and Ivhira, I believe. Although friendship hasn't been confirmed with the last two." He smiles softly. Snow was his nickname for Azreal, since she called him Le Petite. They knew French. maybe.....maybe I could be her first friend.... "would- um- would you-...." he trails off, the words lost. He could never muster enough courage to ask anyone for friendship. So he just fell silent, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah she did." She remembered her mother telling her all about growing up on a ranch, she wished she could go to one someday. She smiled at Near once he apologized for getting so loud. "Oh it's okay, I love them too." She said smiling.
"Thanks...I'm sure one day I could do something great- like write a famous book or something" she said looking down once more. She listened to Near's ideas carefully.
"Those are great ideas! Maybe we could convince one of the prefects to add these adjustments to your common room. Of course... that would require actually talking to them. But I bet they'd be super nice since they are prefects and they are chosen because they have leadership skills- but then again what if they don't like us and..." Her voice kept on trailing off and she realized where she was and that she was babbling. "Sorry..." She apologized as much as Near did, they certainly had that in common. Maybe we should be friends... She thought.
"It's great that you have many friends here at Hogwarts, I hope you make more. You seem like a very nice person." She says quietly. She makes sure all of her books are in a neat pile. She looked up curiously, "would I like to..?" She looked confused. What was he trying to ask her?
