Books were everything to Akina. They weren't just random objects that you could flip pages, books were majestic, beautiful, fantastic, things that deserved to be held. At least, if you asked her. Akina went to the library at least 3 times a day, and spent 50% of her day in there. The other 50% was in the classrooms, which Akina thought were noisy and quite boring.
Akina went to her second favorite spot in the library, the fantasy section. Once she chose a few books that looked interesting, she went to ther favorite spot in the library, the cozy armchairs just like the ones in the Gryffindor Common Room. She loved it because it let her relax, and take in the lovely library. It was also a great place to read.
She flipped the pages, reading the book, and soon she was fully absorbed inside the story. It was great to be reading in the quiet library. After all, she had breezed through her homework and felt as if she deserved a break. Her version of one was relaxing in the library. Soon, she had finished the book. What a beautiful story! Akina thought, looking over at the cover again. It was time to put it back, so she went through the aisle, and returned to the fantasy section. She was looking for another book that she had not read yet, and slowly dragged her fingers across the spines of the book.

Scarlett had entered the library about a half an hour before Akina had. She had been in the fantasy section looking for a book that would last her for the rest of the week- even though she would probably finish it in a day. Fantasy was her absolute favorite book type to read. She even liked writing fantasy books. Her least favorite in reading was history- even though it was necessary for studying.
Today she was wearing her yellow t-shirt which in the corner had the word: D-O-N-A-T-E. She was also wearing her black hoodie over the t-shirt. She wore black leggings leggings with black dress shoes. For her hair and makeup, she decided to be simple and keep her beautiful blonde curly locks of hair left on her shoulders.
Once she had found a 600 paged book she decided that she wasn't getting any better than that and decided to keep it. She reached to grab the book and it was just above her hand she tried pushing at it with her long fingernails but she couldn't seem to reach it. She didn't feel it necessary to use a ladder since it was just above her reach. She jumped and finally it fell down with a bang on the floor. She noticed a few glances at her but nobody cared too much. Good, she thought.
Mentioning: No one
Action: Realizing nobody cared much if she dropped a book.

Akina was looking for a book with a Hufflpeuff right next to her, and suddenly, the Hufflepuff dropped a book with a loud crash. Akina picked it up and handed it to the girl without saying anything. When she did, she caught a good look of the girl's hair. It was blonde and curly, and it looked cool! She looked down at her own outfit. She was wearing a simple black shirt with a brown sweater. She also wore jeans that weren't too tight for her. Usually, Akina wore this outfit when she was in a "neutral" mood.
Akina swiped her fingers along the books many times. Sometimes she had to do that. Well, not that she had to, but it felt like a needed feeling of some sort. All of a sudden, she felt a tingling sensation spreading when she touched a certain book. It was kind of thick, but it didn't matter. Akina usually finished a simple chapter book in one day, which meant that she would probably finish this one in less than a week, but more than a day. She flipped it over in her hands, reading the blurb on the back. Her eyes scanned it thoughtfully, and she decided that this was going to be "this weeks" book.
She also chose two more books, just in case she forgot the big book somewhere, or for any other case. They were both fiction. She hated, hated nonfiction, which she avoided at all costs. But she'd rather have a nonfiction book than no book at all.

Scarlett was about to squat down quickly to retrieve the book from the dusty hardwood floor of the library, until the young girl who was next to her picked it up for her. Her eyes glanced up from the floor to see the beautiful girl's face. "Thanks." She said with a shy smile.
She absolutely loved the kind girl's hair, it was curled to perfection and as brown as coconuts. While Scarlett was thinking of hair she placed her hair behind her ear. Scarlett's eyes then looked down again and she admired the girl's outfit. It was simple but cute! She loved it!
I want to tell her- but what if she thinks I'm weird- am I overthinking that? Am I overthinking right now?
Scarlett shook away the thoughts and looked at the books the girl had chosen- all fiction, none nonfiction. Not that she cared that she didn't have a variety of the two. She didn't really enjoy reading nonfiction, she found it quite boring actually. And the girl really did have good book taste! Maybe she could start conversation?
No! Are you crazy? You never start conversations! What if you sound like a complete idiot!?
She ignored her introverted thoughts and decided to ask a question "You read well too?" Scarlett cringed by gritting her teeth.
You read well too? You've got to be kidding me!"
