A journey toward magic
Oraia followed her family, pausing only to straighten her carriage once or twice. She had come here countless times as she always tagged along whenever her brother took the train, looking forward to her first time. And here she was, excited as ever, the famous platform 93/4 looming in front of her. Her brother went in first, and she followed right behind.
As she passed through the magical barrier, a million thoughts rushed through her head, making her feel a bit dizzy. Would she make new friends? What will her house be? Hufflepuff? Gryffindor? What will her teachers be like? Would she miss her parents? She was now impatient as ever, with new questions bubbling in her head and having no way of answering them.
Lost in thought, she almost crashed into her brother when she got to the other side. “You have to move, dummy! You’re not the only one with a carriage now.” She couldn’t believe this was really happening, even when she herself was saying it.
She heard the now-familiar sound of the train horn and looked back at her parents. They smiled encouragingly and she grinned. She will never forget the moment when she stepped onto the train for the first time, waving to her parents.
