Closed Friendship and a Guitar PV Linda Ramirez

─────"I don't know why everyone's always fighting with their siblings," Seven shrugged.

Maybe there was an age gap that made things hard or perhaps it was simply that the siblings didn't like sharing. Whatever the reason was, they weren't quite sure, and they'd probably never know the answer.

"Yeah, my mum's happy. I mean, working isn't always very fun, is it?" What were Seven's plans for the future? "When I'm older I'd like to be a professional Quidditch player."

They knew it wasn't very practical. They knew that they should just want to teach at Hogwarts or something. But, they couldn't stop dreaming about how amazing it would be to play Quidditch as their job. They would get paid to do something they loved. What could possibly be better than that?

Well, not being disappointed would be best. Seven didn't want their dreams to be crushed or anything. Shooting for something easier, something that would be easier to achieve would be better. But what was life without a challenge?

"I really like Quidditch. Next year I'm going to try out for the team. I want to be a Keeper because... Well, it's my favorite position. I guess I'd be fine with any position as long as I'm on the Quidditch team, though."

─────"I do need a broom," Seven agreed. "I mean, we can use the school brooms for Quidditch, but I feel like they'd break easily. They're kind of rickety." By 'kind of' they meant 'very', but they didn't want to sound scared. "Seeker's a great position. It would probably be my second choice, after Keeper."

It would be great to play Quidditch with Linda. The two of them would be the perfect duo. Except Seeker and Keeper were both very different roles and didn't really interact much. Well, it would still be cool to play on the same team.

"Do you have a favorite Quidditch team?" Seven asked.

Their favorite was Puddlemere United and it was their dream to play on that team. Of course, they'd most likely start off on the reserve team before climbing up the ranks until they could play on the actual team. But those were just hopes. Perhaps Seven wouldn't pursue a career in Quidditch, instead working some boring job. The Ministry of Magic wouldn't be a bad place to work, though it certainly wouldn't be as fun as Puddlemere United. However, life happened. Seven wasn't even a teenager yet. They didn't know much about their future.

─────"Puddlemere United is the best," Seven agreed enthusiastically. "The Seeker, Benjy Williams, is really good."

They found it cool that Linda also loved Quidditch and had the same favorite team as Seven. It would be amazing to play on the same team when the two were older. But for now they would be playing on opposite teams. Seven with Ravenclaw and Linda with Gryffindor.

Seven nodded. "I want to go to new places all around the world. I suppose that if we're on a professional Quidditch team, we'll have to travel a lot for games and stuff. I want to go to Germany." Well, that was a bit random. "My dad is half German, but he hasn't ever been to Germany. My mum hasn't either. I've always thought it would be fun to go on a family trip or something. It would also be a good way to practice speaking German. I'm a bit rusty." Seven paused. "What about you? Do you want to visit other countries?"

They hoped they weren't talking too much. It was at least better than an awkward silence, right?

"I don't know what my dream house would be. Somewhere big, but not lonely." That probably didn't make a lot of sense.

I'm so sorry about that. I'm in a different RP with Josephine and I must've mentioned the wrong person.

─────"I could teach you German," Seven offered. "Since you'll teach me guitar, it's the least I can do. If you still want to teach me and if you want me to teach you. It was just an idea..."

They could remember seeing pictures of Switzerland. It looked beautiful. Especially the mountains and lakes. Not much about Japan came to mind except the cherry blossom trees, which were also called sakura, but Seven didn't know that.

"Switzerland and Japan sound great," Seven said. "I haven't been to either, but they seem nice. From what I've heard, they have wonderful landscapes."

They were still thinking about their dream house. They hadn't been asked about it before and, therefore, hadn't been prepared for Linda's question. But there was time to consider their answer.

They would definitely enjoy living somewhere with a lot of nature and the house would have to be big enough to fit all the books Seven wanted to read.

"Wait, wait, wait," they said. "You live in a mansion?"

Was Linda just lying to act cool? No, Seven didn't believe that she would do that, which meant that Linda's parents were rich or something. Who were her parents? Seven couldn't remember hearing anything about the Ramirez family.

─────Seven was still having a slightly hard time accepting that Linda's family was rich. They had never heard of the Ramirez family, but they supposed that was because they had grown up around Muggles, and Linda was probably a pureblood.

And normal. Linda was so normal. When Seven thought of rich people, they usually pictured snobs. Yes, that was a bit offensive. A stereotype, which was something they hated. Yet they imagined people with wealth and power as kind of stuck up. That certainly wasn't true for Linda. She was very nice and was already beginning to become Seven's friend.

As they listened to Linda talk about how their family was going to buy another country, they couldn't help but think about how rich those people had to be. Affording just one mansion would definitely cost a lot, so two was impressive.

Seven was going to mention that, but decided against it. Linda probably didn't want to hear any more about that. It seemed like it would get tiring after a while, and she had already gone through over a decade of it.

"Do you live in a country area? The stars shine brighter when it's darker." Why had Seven said that?
