Meeting a new friend in Seoul
English | Korean
Mark and his family decided to go to Seoul, South Korea, to visit some of Mark's family members. Not everyone in Mark's family lives in London. Actually, only his parents, his brother, and him live in London. Some of his other family members live in Japan.
He was currently in his room of his manor in Seoul, South Korea. Mark was feeling bored, so he decided to go out for a walk, but he decided to tell his mother. Once he entered the kitchen, he saw his mother making something. He decided to tell her, so he said,
"Eomma, I'll be going for a walk. I'll be back before dinner!" Mark says Eomma=Mom
He saw his mother nod her head. He than waved goodbye before exiting his house threw the front door. He than walked threw the streets of Seoul. He walked until he reached a park. He went into the park and walked around.
He decided to sit down when he saw a bench, since he was walking for so long. When he saw an empty bench, he sat down. He than thought,
"I wonder if I'll be able to make any friends. I hope I can. I've made a few friends in Japan already. But, none here."
Soon to meet @Cicely Woods

Cloudy weather formed above Seoul as Cicely walked briskly across the street. She was here for the winter holidays, where she used to live. Seoul was very dear to her, and she was happy to be home again. She arrived into her apartment and quickly slipped the key into her door after the elevator went up. She was staying with her aunt, as her father and mother were both gone for a business trip. cicely was only out for a few groceries. She placed the wanted groceries by the counter in a plastic bag before writing a little note and sliding it to the bag. Her Korean was not so good and her writing was wonky. Oh well, she’d need to write in English more than Korean at Hogwarts. She then got to her room and changed for the day, into a black and white checkered jacket and a black skirt with black heels and a beret completed with pearl earings. she wanted to look good, even if she was just going for a walk.
She then exited the apartment before walking down the road to a shop named Daisy Mart, where her usually stop was. She entered the shop and bought herself some peach tea before paying for it and thanking the shop keeper as she walked out of the shop. Then she began walking to the park, sipping her refreshment. As she got there, the park was buzzing, with many people jogging through the park, or having a picnic. She glanced at each person curiously, with wide eyes. Then one person caught her eye. A black haired boy, sitting down at a bench. She saw him before.. she tapped her chin, thinking. She saw that face before. But who was it…? Ah, yes! Mark Meyers! The eager Hufflepuff and her had exchanged looks before, that’s all.
She walked up to Mark and plopped down next to him. “I didn’t know there was also another Hogwarts student in Seoul at this time!” she laughed, smiling at Mark.

Mark looked around the park until he saw a familiar face walk up to him, he than saw her sit down. Yes, Mark does know who she is. She's a Gryffindor, Cicely Woods. Mark has only seen her, but he's never talked to her before.
"Honestly same." Mark says.
He wasn't exactly expecting to see anyone that goes to Hogwarts in Seoul, but he was wrong, since he pretty much just bumped into Cicely, but not physically. He than wondered why she was here, but thought,
"She's probably here to stay with her family members here, like I am. Or maybe she has a different reason for why she's here."
Mark decided to not ask Cicely why she's here in Seoul, since he thought that it'd be rude. He'd only ask her, if she asked him. He also didn't exactly know what to say, since he was quite sure he'll mix up Korean with English and Japanese since he can speak pretty much three languages and write in all three of them as well.
He than realized that he and Cicely were pretty much sitting in silence. But, he didn't know what t0 say. He than decided to ask,
"You out on a walk to?"

He had a confused expression as he saw her, as if not expecting her to be here at all as well. She flashed him a smile. ”Honestly same." he replied and it was quite awkward, as if the two were trying to figure out why they were here. “I’m here for the holidays to visit again. I used to live here before moving to England.” she explained as if to answer his question. “how about you?”
“You out on a walk too?” he asked. She nodded. “Seoul is so beautiful in wintertime! Do you think it will snow today?” she asked, eyes wide. “Because I should have brought a jacket!” it was indeed beautiful. The lush frost tipped branches and beautiful frosty grass surrounded them. She turned around to glance at the sun, it was weak, only lighting up so little. “It’s getting quite cold now. Why don’t we go to a cafe? I saw one down the road!” she said with a bright smile. “If you want,” she added.
“Didn’t know you lived in Korea.” she smiled. “Or are tou visiting?” she asked. “Some people told me that you speak Japanese and Korean as well as English.” she said, eyes wide. “That’s really cool! Do you mix them up sometimes?”

Mark noticed that Cicely had given him a smile, which he returned. He then heard her speak. Before answering he began thinking which language he should use, but then decided on English,
"Cool. Me too. My family lives here. I also have family living in Japan as well, so I mostly come to either here or Tokyo to visit them."
Mark looked around the park and noticed that Cicely is right, Seoul is definitely beautiful during the winter time, but it's always beautiful during any time. But, he liked it during winter time. Mark wasn't sure about it snowing but hoped that it did, but not a lot. When Cicely invited him to go to a cafe with her, he nodded, he then decided to say,
"True, it's definitely beautiful during winter. I think it'll snow, but hopefully not too much. Ya, sure we can go to the cafe, I don't mind."
Mark laughed slightly. He had no idea he was kinda becoming popular at Hogwarts but didn't know if it was true or not. Indeed he can speak three languages, but he also sometimes says things in the language he didn't want to say, but he did.
"I do live here. And I'm also visiting. My family owns a manor here. Ya, I do speak those three. Ummmmmmm, sometimes, but not the words or the writing. I mix up the language I speak in. So, like I want to say something in Japanese, but it comes out in English. Get what I mean?" Mark says.
