Shadows of the Spring

Once again, the time of the year has rolled past. The Spring Court - a school wide ball, traditionally set to bid farewell to the Scottish winter and welcome the warmer months.

To some, it strengthened relationships. And bought new friends but to others? Regret. Unhappiness. Loneliness. The ball started late in the afternoon, the sun setting as merry (or not so merry) couples entered the Enchanted maze, moderated by Clark Baird and Ashley Montez. However, they were unaware of what exactly they were taking with them as well.

From huge groups of people to those who roamed the hedges alone seemed to be getting into the Banquet as the sun began to set, flowers losing its floral scent and the plants began to wake up as if from a long night. Growing quickly and steadily the vines did, those weary travelers were lucky not to see any murderous shadows….apart from a few.

In particular, the first year Angelique Selemine was attacked first. Angelique, a blond student from Koldovstoretz, the Russian school who was walking with Lloyd Thomas, a third year Beauxbatons student when a rumored shadow enveloped her, blocking her vision and knocking her out entirely. However, all was not lost. One brave warrior assisted in helping the poor student. Rebecca Loops, Slytherin first year, was first to come, demonstrating excellent Wand Lightning Charms to help defend.

Food Fight | Horoscope | Bean Strike | Spring Court | Cutest Couple

The Food Fight

The dinner of May 9th, 2023, had begun as it usually did; peaceful - or as peaceful as a dinner could be at Hogwarts.
This peace did not last, however, as not long into the meal did all hell break loose at the Slytherin table.
It all started with a series of misunderstandings; carrots were launched across the table, soon followed by mashed potatoes being shoved in faces and gravy splattering across the closest victim.
It had not been planned, but shortly, what began as seemingly a seemingly innocent mistake had transformed into a fully-fledged food fight that had spread from the table of the snakes and over to the table of the badgers.
Arguments began, and very soon, food wasn’t the only thing thrown, as several students from the table of vipers seemed to engage in taunts and verbal assaults.

Eventually, all came to an end with Slytherin's newest prefect; Avery Leveret, coming to the rescue - or so it seemed as, at the boy's arrival, several students seemed to become marginally aggressive towards him; a feat that was put to an end at the arrival of one Opeila Winters.

In the end, five students were sentenced to a night of gruelling housework, cleaning both the dishes and every inch of the great hall.

The Bean Strikes

Hear ye hear ye! Something out of the ordinary has been happening in the Wizarding World *audible gasp*. Certain flavors of beans have disappeared into thin air! Desperate students have started to make offerings to the enigmatic 'bean fairy'. Yet it seems has if they have succeeded *cheer* because beans are now appearing per normal!

Thank you for a month of hard work, effort and solid teamwork. I thank each and every member very much, your rewards should be given out now, or else I will do so today. This page of the issue is entirely bonus -y and not to be counted as though published IC. This is just for OOC memories and a special credit that these people have worked together to complete such a fantastic issue. I am proud to be your leader and hope to work with you for many years.
