─────"The players swapped out every few hours," Seven clarified.

They were probably so obsessed with Quidditch because it was a bit of a new concept to them. Perhaps the exhilaration would wear off. Or maybe it wouldn't. They couldn't deny that it would be amazing to play Quidditch on a professional team. Their favorite team was Puddlemere United and Seven had done everything they could to learn a lot about the team, and Quidditch in general. It helped that the Hogwarts library had some informational books on Quidditch. Through those books and other books found in the library, Seven also found a favorite singer. She had sung Puddlemere United's team anthem. The book they had read about it had been quite interesting and had gone into a nice amount of detail.

Seven made themself stop thinking about all that and instead replied to Lizzi's next comment. "I love answering questions about Quidditch. I should probably be the one apologizing about this." They paused. "I can be a lot when I'm talking about something I enjoy doing or something I know a lot about. Just tell me if you need me to take a minute to... calm down."

Seven loved sharing information they knew, but they could be a lot sometimes.

─────Seven was surprised that Lizzi seemed to be really enjoying the conversation about Quidditch, but she also told Seven that she loved talking about books. They liked books as well and could remember having a brief chat about Lizzi's book Pride and Prejudice. They decided that allowing Lizzi to explain about something she enjoyed wouldn't be too bad. Seven had already said a lot about Quidditch. Now it was Lizzi's turn.

"We can talk about books," Seven offered. "Did you finish that Pride and Prejudice one you were reading?"

Through experience, Seven had found that doing something instead of proposing something was helpful for most people. There wasn't anything wrong with putting an idea out there and waiting to see if someone noticed, but doing something was more reliable. Of course, each scenario was different and sometimes you would have to just hope someone noticed, but it was often better to actually do something.

So, that was what Seven was doing. They had proposed an idea and had asked a question to make it all happen. Simple. Well, not for a slightly shy, negative, and weird kid, but since they were talking to Lizzi, they were more confident. Lizzi was also weird, but in a good way.

─────"Sherlock. That's that really smart guy, right?" Seven knew they had heard about Sherlock Holmes, but they had never read any of the books that featured him. "I read this mystery series before. It wasn't Sherlock Holmes, but it was pretty good. I should read more mysteries. They're really fun."

Seven actually preferred books written and published by Muggles to those by magical people. Muggles had a great and less restricted imagination. They had awesome ideas about what magic was like, but they could also create multiple books just about a normal(ish) life.

"I love reading," Seven smiled. "I'm in the middle of The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. This is the first time I've read it, but it's probably my favorite book. It's about this girl who lives in Germany during World War II and her foster parents are hiding a Jewish man in their basement. It's all told from Death's, you know, the Grim Reaper's, point of view, but it's not cheesy or anything. The Book Thief is slightly more advanced reading than I'm used to, but the author is so good at description."

Seven took a deep breath. They had been talking quite a bit. So much for allowing Lizzi to share.

─────"Murder Most Unladylike," Seven repeated. "I don't know that book, but the title is intriguing."

They had a huge 'to read' list, but book recommendations were always welcome. Speaking of that 'to read' list, it was all in their head. Perhaps if they had some time, writing it all down would be a good idea. It would certainly be more reliable than just having a large mental list.

"My favorite genre is," Seven's voice trailed off.

What was their favorite genre? They preferred fiction over non-fiction, but they didn't particularly like fantasy. It was a great genre, but they liked... That's when the answer hit them.

"Historical fiction," they said. "Not boring stuff, but fiction set in the past. I like realistic fiction as well. I guess I enjoy a mix of the two."

Seven was so glad that Lizzi was a fellow book lover. Many people didn't like reading, which made Seven inwardly glare at them. Those people didn't know what they were missing out on. Their loss. So, Seven would just sit in a corner and enjoy their current book, not caring about what was going on around them. They simply focused on their book and allowed themself to be sucked into that wonderful world.

─────"I haven't read Circe," Seven frowned slightly. "But Circe's also the name of a Greek goddess, right? The goddess of magic?" They had read a couple of books about ancient Greece before, but not much. "Greek mythology's pretty interesting. To me, at least."

Seven found all the stories regarding Greek gods and goddesses fascinating. The stories had quite a large range of genres. Action, adventure, tragedy, romance. Yep, Greek mythology pretty much covered it all.

"Um, there's a book called A Rising Man that's good. It's historical fiction. It's set in India somewhere around the early nineteen hundreds." Then, remembering what Lizzi had previously said, they added, "It's also a mystery, so you'd probably like it. The main character used to be a detective. He was in the Great War, which is what people used to call World War I, but it's over when the book takes place. Then there was a murder and he has to figure out who did it."

Seven knew they hadn't really explained the book well, but they hoped they had done a good enough job. They also wished they hadn't told Lizzi that they liked historical fiction. Why couldn't they have picked something more interesting?
