May 28, 2023, 11pmAra was walking around Hogwarts, hoping to see the room she was hoping to find. The Rehearsal Room. She has never really knew about the room until she heard a few slytherin girls talk about it. Ara wanted to have a room to practice her instruments and maybe even practice ballet there. She took a turn and saw the doors were already open. The girl looked inside. No one. She went in and got her guitar out of its case. She first strummed all 6 strings individually to check if they were in tune. After the check, she started playing her tune. Ara just knew the tune somehow, no one taught it to her.
Ara loved music, she could make a song's tune, lyrics, and melody in under 30 minutes. Her house had a whole entire music room for all the instruments. She and her siblings would sometimes play a few songs that Ara wrote, like a band. But she couldn't take it as a career since it wasn't a certain path to take.
The ravenette continued to play the short song over and over again since it was relaxing. Then, she started to play one of her favourites . Her muggle-born aunt (she married ara's uncle(fathers side)) gave her a bunch of records of muggle music and she eventually learnt how to play them on a few of her instruments.
Ara was enjoying the rhythm and was so into it. But she saw a figure, it looked like a girl. She immediately stopped playing and put down her guitar to look outside. She walked to the door and looked around to see a girl.RP Word Count: 269/200
Just for imagination purposes, the guitar is made from rosewood. Yes, I am aware that The Sound of Music is actually a movie (a great movie I definitely recommend)

@Ara VillaMusic was her peace. Her escape from problems. A reason for her to take another step. Another breath. To go day by day and focus only on the present itself. Aisley loved music just about more than anything in the world. Well, except her family - most of them. Aisley decided that the day she'd asked her father to teach her how to play the guitar was one of the best decisions she'd ever made.
So her dad bought her a guitar. He taught her how to play. He developed her abilities and talents to where she was at today. Aisley wasn't going to stop playing just because she started going to a school for magic. She couldn't be that stupid to just leave a piece of her heart at home for the months she was at school.
She'd heard about the Rehearsal Room from quite a few people. People at the Ravenclaw table at lunch, students in the hallways, and peers in her classes, though she'd never actually been. But today was the day she would change that. Gripping her guitar case in her hand, she left her dorm, which she had been using as a spot to practice for the last few months.
She made her way to the fourth floor, where she'd heard that the room was. Making her way closer, Aisley heard the strumming of another guitar to a tune she knew well. Fearless by Taylor Swift. Aisley didn't mean to seem creepy while watching the girl play, but she guessed she gave off a wrong impression once the girl suddenly stopped playing and moved to look through the door to see her.
Aisley grimaced, understanding that she might've scared the girl a bit. Trying to make her situation better, she began to talk, sending a sheepish smile towards the girl. "Sorry 'bout that! Didn't mean to scare you or anything. I play too." She lifted her guitar case for emphasis. "By the way, you play beautifully! I love that song!"

June 1, 2023Ara's expression softened a bit after the girl's explanation. "Really? I just got vinyl records from my muggle-born aunt of Taylor Swift songs" she said. The slytherin girl was now a bit curious if the girl knew how to play instruments herself.
Ara knew how to play many instruments from a young age. She wrote a few songs herself and is planning on composing them soon. Maybe the girl knows how to compose songs? Ara is quite mediocre at composing anyways. The girl seemed like she knows how to play a guitar at least. "Do you know how to play an instrument? I have some songs I want to compose later. So uhm... Wanna help?" She asked with her straight face. Ara didn't want to seem like the non-people person she is since she has learned a bit.
She realized she didn't know the girl's name. "My name's Ara Villa. First year Slytherin" The ravenette held out her hand as she introduced herself. She knew it wasn't a solid introduction but it was good enough she supposed. She wanted to have more interaction at this point. Its ok if not friends but more human interaction means she can get used to Hogwarts and stay there for 7 years and greet guests at family balls and parties.RP Word Count: 216/200

@Ara VillaAisley smiled when the black-haired girl mentioned getting Taylor Swift Vinyls from her muggle-born aunt. She herself loved Taylor's music and adored playing her songs on her guitar. The fact that she'd met someone else who listened to Taylor Swift made the girl happy. "Really?" Aisley questioned, "that's so cool! I wish I had Taylor Swift vinyl records." She sighed wistfully.
As silence overtook the two girls, Aisley observed the girl for a bit. Chocolate-colored eyes with little enthusiasm stared back at the pink-haired girl. Her black hair was almost pin straight and she stood a good 4-5 inches taller than Aisley. She had pale skin and looked like she was pissed at Aisley for no reason. It was probably just her resting face.
After a beat of silence and Aisley observing the other girl, she finally heard the ravenette speak up again, asking her if she played an instrument and mentioning how she wanted to compose some songs later, asking if Aisley wanted to help. Her mouth dropped open in shock before she looked around and pointed to herself in mock confusion. "Do I want to help you compose your songs? Um, of course! I'd be honored!"
Shaking off her surprise, Aisley took the girl's hand, Ara's hand, in a firm grasp as soon as she introduced herself. "Aisley Solace, first-year Ravenclaw, guitarist at your service!" She said, ecstatic to work with her new Slytherin friend.

June 18, 2023 (6:55 pm)"Pleasure meeting you Aisley" Ara said, "I'm currently composing this song, I'm stuck on the chorus" she handed Aisley a paper with lyrics on it. "I was playing Fearless for inspiration for the tune and melody." The ravenette explained.
'She's one of the cheerful and lively ones ... Aisley Solace ... It suits her nicely. A Ravenclaw huh? She fits the curiousity and vibe of the house well.' she thought.
Ara played and sang the parts of the song that had a tune and melody already. She looked at Aisley with a look that said 'Does it sound okay?'. Ara was worried if it didn't sound good. She wasn't a perfectionist, far from it actually. But she doesn't like things that are flat out horrible, especially with music. Ara sighed, "Okay, so I was thinking if I can add this part to the chorus" she proceeded to sing and play a short part she came up with. "There, do you think I should add it?" Ara asked Aisley with her eyes on the paper.
The ravenette puts down her guitar and holds her pencil and paper, preparing for Aisley's response. 'I wonder what she will say.... I hope its not bad though' Ara thinks.RP Word Count: 202/200

@Ara VillaAisley eagerly grabbed the paper that Ara handed her, reading what she had written so far for her song, nodding along when Ara began playing parts of her song that already had a melody and tune. "Okay, that actually sounds really good so far!"
Handing the paper back to Ara, Aisley took out her guitar as Ara once again began to sing and play proposed lyrics and corresponding music to what the chorus of Ara's song could be. Aisley thought for a minute while tuning her guitar once the raven-haired girl finished singing and playing.
After a couple of minutes, an idea struck her. "Okay, so the lyrics are perfect and it sounds really good so far! Definitely add those." she said, before leaning over Ara's shoulder to see the lyrics."But what if you just slightly altered the tune..." Aisley trailed off, playing a similar tune to Ara's original while singing the lyrics from the paper.
After she'd finished playing the chorus, Aisley definitely thought that by just changing around a couple of chords, the song sounded incredible! All she needed was Ara's approval of her edits and they'd be good to work on the next part of the song.

June 27, 2023 (4:40 pm)Aisley sang and played a similar tune to Ara's. The girl actually really liked it. "Oh, that's really good. But what if the tune near the chorus goes like this" She says and plays a slightly altered version of Aisley's tune near the chorus with singing as well. 'I hope that's good, the difference is only about 5 chords really.' Ara thought hopefully. She wasn't sure but she had a hunch that she and Aisley will be good acquaintances, maybe friends but not sure. "Aisley, why do you like music? Like, what got you into it? Also, do you like things other than music as well?" she asked curiously. Ara was curious about Aisley and wanted to know more about her and wanted to know what she was like before being her friend.
Ara is really selective of her friends and who gets to get her good side. She observes them and sees if they are able to put up with her attitude. 'Aisley Solace, your response will decide our relationship moving forward' Ara thought a bit menacingly.
The girl doesn't really have many friends, she has only been making acquaintances, nice ones in fact. Sometimes she was actually grateful to have siblings because she wasn't that social at all.RP Word Count: 210/200
