Mark realized that Seven had dropped the topic about brooms. Mark was somewhat sad, but he didn't mind at all. What was on his mind was how Seven would respond to Mark being a Metamorphmagus. He was somewhat worried, but was also curious with how they would respond.

"Ya, that's right. Wait, really? Oh, cool!" Mark says.

He was somewhat confused with the term Metamorphosis, since he's never heard of it before, but he was open to learning about it.

"Huh? So that's what Metamorphosis is. That seems cool. I never knew that was what it was called. But, now I know, thanks to Seven." Mark thought.

Mark was taken out of his thoughts with Seven's next question. Now, Mark knew how to say this, but didn't know if he should go back to how it started. He decided to not tell them about the very beginning, since they most likely didn't ask about that.

"I'm not the only one. My older brother James has it. My mother does too. It's just my father that doesn't have the talent." Mark says answering Seven's question.

Mark know wondered where this conversation is going. It did change quite a bit, but Mark didn't mind. He likes learning about new people, he also likes it when those new people are learning more about him as well.

─────Seven couldn't help but think about how Mark's situation reminded them of their own. It was different - Mark came from a pureblood family and Seven didn't have the ability of Metamorphmagus - but in some ways, it was also similar. Seven's mother was magic and their father was not. Mark's mother was a Metamorphmagi and his father was not. Okay, so maybe that comparison wasn't great, but it had just been something that had popped into Seven's head.

"Is it nice to have both your mother and brother to relate to in terms of Metamorphmagus?" they asked, aware of how many questions they had been bothering Mark with.

Seven felt so comfortable chatting with this new friend. That was what the two were, right? Friends? Anyways, they were still worrying about saying something that would make Mark weirded out, which would cause him to leave, but they were a little more confident about it. There was a chance things could go wrong. Just because Seven was having a nice conversation with him didn't mean that they couldn't mess up. They really disliked that negativity, but it was the truth. They couldn't lie about it. Seven could make a mistake. And maybe they would...

Mark wondered how Seven would react/reply to his brother and mother having the talent but not his father. Mark than thought that Seven will compare themself with Mark. In some way, it would make sense. But it also wouldn't make any sense at all.

"Yes. But, they can both control it better than I can. But, it's ok. At least I can learn from them and not be the only one that has the talent." Mark says.

Now he wondered how Seven would react/reply. He was well aware of all the questions Seven was asking him, but he really liked them. He was glad that he's met Seven and is able to talk to them. He's also happy since they were talking about Quidditch with him, well, before Seven brought up Metamorphmagus because of Mark's hair color changing.

Mark was really happy that he and Seven are friends. Their both turning out to become great friends which makes Mark very happy. If he didn't feel this way, Mark would probably have left bye now, but since he likes talking to Seven, he's staying until it is time to leave.

Mark knows when it's time to leave by looking at the sky. He knows that when the sun is setting, he should say bye to Seven and hopefully meet them again some other time. But since the sky is nice a sunny, Mark knows that he can still hangout with Seven.

─────Seven nodded in agreement. "It makes sense that they can control it better. They're both older, right? It's good to have someone you trust that you can learn from."

Their mother had told them all about magic after they had experienced their first instance of magic, or FIoM. That being said, Seven had been very ready to learn. Their mother almost hadn't had a choice.

They could remember those days. Asking their mother for information regarding Hogwarts and practicing the hand movement for spells with a stick rather than a wand. They made lists and notes as well. Lists of all the potions ingredients their mother could remember and notes about each house - again, this was gathered from their mother. They were ready.

And now, Seven was at Hogwarts, making friends. They were a straight 'O' student and absolutely loved brewing potions and casting spells that could magically fix a broken object. Hogwarts was certainly a wonderful place. Although it could be a bit confusing. Those first few days of classes had been horrible. Trying to get around Hogwarts had almost been impossible. The staircases moved. It was all like some huge puzzle that Seven had to figure out. Good thing they were a Ravenclaw.

"Yep, their both older. I can actually ask my brother for help controlling it while here at Hogwarts, but only until my third year." Mark says agreeing with Seven.

Mark was quite sure Seven was thinking about someone that they could trust and could help them out with magic, since Seven was raised with there father, and he is a muggle.

Mark already knew a lot about magic while he was growing up, but one thing that he really wanted to know, was why is he a wizard born and not a pure-blood.

"Surely everyone in my family is a pure-blood, right?" Mark had thought when he was very young.

When Mark decided to ask this question, his mother answered it by telling him that he great great grandmother was a muggle born. And she married a pureblood, than from their on, Mark's family became Wizard born.

Once he learned about this, he than realized that there is a very big difference between purebloods and wizard borns. But now that Mark knows that, he wonders if anyone else knows it.

He was quite sure other people know about it as well, and not only him. But, if someone did ask him why he's a wizard born, he'd be ready to answer them.

─────Seven smiled. It seemed like Mark got along well with his older brother. Many siblings fought, which was unfortunate since having a sibling was like having a lifelong friend. 'Friend' is the keyword there.

They thought that if they had siblings, they wouldn't waste much time fighting. Instead, the two would spend time together and learn from each other. But Seven was an only child so the most they could do was ask questions about what it was like to have a sibling. They didn't really know anything about siblings, so they couldn't criticize the relationship others had with their siblings.

"Your brother probably knows a lot about magic and Hogwarts since he's been here so long," Seven said, looking at Mark for clarification.

When Seven was a fifth year, they were sure they'd be very knowledgeable. Perhaps they'd help the first years to get around Hogwarts.

Seven's first day of classes had been a bit chaotic. The moving staircases were cool, but they were scary and confusing. When they were in their fifth year of Hogwarts, they would've definitely gotten the hang of the magical staircases. Yep, that was what Seven was looking forward to. Being able to determine the path staircases would take them.

Mark knew that most siblings tend to fight with each other, but he and his brother never do fight. They have a great relationship with each other. He also knew that people that are an only child feel mostly lonely and asks a lot of questions about what it's like to have siblings to their friends that do.

Mark has a feeling that Seven is an only child, but doesn't know yet. But, he believes that he is right, but doesn't mind if he is or isn't. When Seven spoke, Mark looked at them and nodded his head. It is true that his brother has been at Hogwarts for 6 years. He definitely does know a lot already.

"Yep, that's true. He knows a lot, for sure. He says that he'll tell me things for me to know, but he might do that after his seventh year and before we become third years." Mark says.

Since Mark already has an older sibling going to Hogwarts, on his first day of classes, he was perfectly fine. His brother showed him where his classes were. He even continued to walk with Mark until he was sure that he knows where his classes are. Mark has a feeling though, that it wasn't like that for Seven.

─────Once again, Seven's mind began to wander. It wasn't like their conversation with Mark wasn't interesting, they just couldn't help but think about other things.

They had recently been stocking up on information about Ravenclaw. The animal of that house was the eagle and the element was air. While Slytherin and Gryffindor seemed to have a rivalry, Ravenclaw didn't care much for that, until Quidditch was mentioned, of course.

Uric the Oddball had gone to Hogwarts during the Middle Ages and had been sorted into Ravenclaw. He was featured on a bronze Chocolate Frog Card which described him in the following way, "Uric was a strange wizard who lived in ancient times. Among other things, he was famous for wearing a jellyfish as a hat. No one knows if he meant to become the weirdest wizard of the ages or if it just came naturally.".

So, Ravenclaw not only had smart students, but... creative ones as well. That kind of reminded Seven of another bronze Chocolate Frog Card wizard who had gone to Hogwarts. Newton Artemis Fido "Newt" Scamander had been sorted into Hufflepuff.

Seven glanced back up at Mark, feeling kind of guilty for spacing out like that. They hoped he wasn't angry.

Mark looked at Seven. He than they were in deep thought. Mark decided to not distract them from there thoughts, so he let them be.

Mark than decided to go into his own thoughts. He started thinking about the most random things ever imaginable.

His mind dirifted as well. He knew that his hair wouldn't change. But he decided to change the color completely to blonde.

He than began thinking about all of the great wizards that were sorted into his house. One of them had written one of his favorite books, Newt Scamander.

Mark had a feeling that Seven was thinking about chocolate frog cards. He had no idea why he had this feeling, but he just did.

Mark was going to ask something, but he decided not too. He wondered if Seven was going to talk to him or not.

Mark doesn't mind if Seven is in their thoughts, but he wanted them to talk to him, but he knew that he'd have to wait.

Mark than realized his thoughts weren't really entertaining. But he had to think of something while he and Seven weren't talking.

Mark than looked up at the sky and wondered if Seven had noticed his new hair color.

─────Seven had looked at Mark to see if he was annoyed that they had spaced out, but that was all forgotten when they saw that his hair had once again changed color. It was a pale blonde color that was almost as white as the whisps of clouds in the sky. Speaking of those clouds, they were truly beautiful. They weren't fully formed, like marshmallows, but more similar to whispers. Yes, it was strange to compare a cloud to a sound, but that was sort of the way Seven's mind worked. There were some moments when they were creative, but Seven's thoughts were mostly of the more logical variety.

The point was that the clouds were small and spread out since the sun was dominating the majority of the sky. Also that Mark's hair had again changed its appearance. Seven had been thinking about that too. It was pretty hard to notice. They wondered if he ever wished it could just be normal. Being weird is a good thing, but standing out isn't. Not really. However, the best type of friends are the ones who don't care if you aren't like everyone else.

Seven hoped that Mark would say something so they didn't feel so awkward.
