Wandering around...
Tessa had a short day every Wednesday, and her classes finished quite early. This time she decided to do something special, as her whole being revolted against homework, especially against that long-long History of Magic essay, that she had to finish for Friday. Her great plan was to take a walk around the grounds. As weeks went by, she got to know the castle step by step... or at least she didn't get lost and managed to arrive to her classes on time, no matter how tricky the moving start were! On the other hand, she didn't have too much time to spend in the grounds, except for the Herbology classes held in the greenhouses. Usually she always had to run somewhere, or had way too much homework to do for the other day... but not today. Tessa wanted it to be exceptional.
Coming back up from the Common Room, she opened the huge wooden entrance door of the castle and stepped out. The pale autumn sunshine blinded her for some seconds and made her squint, but she could quickly adjust to natural light after the darkness of the castle. She didn't really know where to start, so she made her way towards the lake. People said there were interesting creatures inside it, and the white tomb of a former headmaster was placed on it's shores... she winced a bit, hoping that she wouldn't meet any ghosts there... she was already thrilled by the Fat Friar, no matter how kind he was...

Wandering around...
"Adios, libros!" Tina exclaims as she dumped her books in her dorm before she starts to head to the entrance of Hogwarts. Today she was taking a me day where she would do whatever she wanted and not run on the constant schedule of her homework. She had wanted to experience an exciting Hogwarts adventure, but nothing interesting happened since she had arrived. Her parents have been through adventures as soon as their first week of their first year. She was sick of waiting, so she was going to go out and find her own. She almost crashed into a few students as her bright long wavy red hair flew and her big black geek glasses that was suppose to be over her gold doe eyes slid to the ridge of her nose.
She was so caught up in running that she almost ran into the girl walking towards the lake. She decided she should probably bring someone with her on her adventure. Sounding way more confident in her head, she said, "Oh, um hi. I'm Tina and I'd like to go on an adventure with you."
She realized her request was kinda odd as she nervously waited for the girl's answer.

Wandering around...
Tessa was walking slowly, humming a silly song, when she heard someone coming from behind her. She suddenly stopped and almost tripped over her own feet as she heard someone talking way too close to her. A young girl's voice, stating she wanted to go on an adventure with her. Was it true? Was the whole sentence addressed to her? She slowly turned around to see what was going on.
There was a bright red haired, golden eyed girl before her in nerdy glasses. She was a flashy phenomena indeed. At the first glance, she even questioned if she was a human, or had something else mixed to her blood as well. A smile crossed her lips for a moment: finally, she could find someone with even brighter red hair than her own!
As she had a look at her robes, she quickly discovered that she was a Ravenclaw. Tessa just stood there, watching the girl, raising a brow. Probably this girl named Tina was just a tiny bit... odd. 'Excuse me...?' - she asked awkwardly. - 'Were you talking to me?' She quickly looked around, searching for someone laughing around them, but she couldn't discover any nearby pranksters. This way, her question sounded rather stupid. Who else could she talk to?

She thought it was a little strange that the girl was confused by who she was addressing her question to. There was no one else around, she thought as she look around for a student, professor, or even the Headmaster. Concerned, she answered, "Um... yeah, I think so. Is there anyone else around that I can't see?"
She looked at the girl's robes and realized she was a Hufflepuff. She knew so many Hufflepuffs that she sometimes forgot she was a Ravenclaw. Most of them weren't the stereotypical kind of Hufflepuff. One liked to play drums while another friend enjoyed playing mud ball in the corridors. She couldn't help but to wonder what she would be like. Hoping she hadn't already butchered this relationship, she asks, "So what's your name? I mean what can I call you? I mean may I call you by your first name?"
Frustrated by her lack of social skills, she looked down at her feet and silently scolded herself. She just made things even more awkward. Why did she have to keep talking? She was sure this conversation was coming to an end as she looked back at the castle. Maybe she should attempt to find an undiscovered room.

Tessa blushed as she asked for any other unseen people around them. She felt stupid, but it was hard for her to believe that someone would be searcing for her company in a kind way, because it only happened rarely before, starting with the appearance of Argus - her foster father - in the orphanage on that hot summer day in July, not so much more than a year ago... 'Well, no... I was just... erm.. nevermind.' - she stammered and looked down to her shoes, starting to kick the dust ight in front of her to make herself calm down a bit.
As the girl fired another bunch of questions on her, startling her, she looked at her to answer, feeling that her blush was on the way to disappear. 'My name is Theresa, but please call me Tessa. I like it much better... it's not that official, you know!' - she said and attempted a smile, without much success. Tessa scratched her arm nervously, then decided to move on. She wanted to get out of embarrassment as soon as possible. 'Should I call you Tina...?' - she asked, and wanted to hit her own forehead. Congrats Tessa for saying the obvious... - she thought, scolding herself.

Tina felt terrible for making her uncomfortable. She only approached her, because she seemed like someone who would make a great ally. She made it even worse by asking one too many questions. How was she going to fix this awkward dilemma that she caused? With a slightly forced smile, she asks, "So where were you heading to? I'm planning to explore the grounds and maybe some rarely visited places within the castle. It's so big it'll take years to sort through all those halls, and moving stairs, and corridors. I mean, outside is so vast as well, but we can't go to Hogsmeade or the Forbidden Forest..."
Embarrassed, Tina was grateful that she didn't feel her cheeks turn red as she looked away from Tessa's attractive blue eyes and stared at the lake, standing still in the November weather. Instead of fixing the problem, she made things 10 times worst by ranting about utter nonsense. Tessa probably thought she was a stereotypical crazy Ravenclaw, she thought. Maybe she could fix things by changing the subject entirely. Slowly and with more care, she adds, "So how was your trip to Hogwarts? Did you enjoy the ride? How did you feel about the sorting ceremony? Do you like your house?"
Suddenly, Tina remembered she forgot the long essay that was due the very next day and said, " Sorry, I have to go. I'll see you around!"
She ran off towards the school, unsure if she would ever see her again.
