Mahlioz nodded as Azrael told her they didn't listen to Irish folk music very much. "Oh, that's okay, don't apologize! Everyone has different tastes." She had never heard of the song Fallen Down either, or Undertale for that matter. Talking to people always made her feel uncultured. But it was... less, this time. Because she didn't feel like Azrael would judge her.
"I've never heard of that second one, but I'd love to learn it! It sounds cool." Being taught a piece by someone her age was very new - but then again, so was pretty much everything else that she was going to do. Learning a piece by ear, playing something that wasn't classical or folk, playing with someone she had just met... you name it, she was doing it. Sure, it slightly terrified her to be doing so many new things, but she was also strangely excited.

"I'd love to hear you play one of those as well, I'm sure you're just as amazing," Mahlioz replied to Azzy's suggestion of bringing one of their guitars. She, of course, had a bias towards violins and other instruments that were played with bows (yes, guitars could be, but she didn't count them), but she loved all instruments. Music was cool.
The Slytherin could tell that Azrael was getting more comfortable around her, which made her smile. She felt the same way. In fact, they even invited her to have some herbal tea after, to which Mahlioz's eyebrows raised, but she grinned. "That sounds awesome! I'd love that, thank you!" She rarely ever had tea, apart from boba, but she had nothing against it. And if it meant spending more time with this really interesting person, she was all in. But first... they were going to play violin together.
