New Friend
She had finally arrived. After a long train journey, Hera was finally at Hogwarts. The school was quite large. Some of the first-class crowd she was in could easily hear her surprise.
When she entered the Great Hall, she realized that everything was just as her family had told him. There were four long tables in a huge hall. Apart from the thousands of candles above, the ceiling was dark and cloudy.
Looking at the Slytherin table, she saw her older brother, Alex, sitting in one of the front rows, talking to his friends. Hera looked around. Would she be able to make a friend in this ceremony?
As she looked around, she saw that some of them had made friends, while others could not stand still with excitement. Actually, Hera was very excited, but she couldn't reflect it.
She began to wonder what house I would be in. She thought it might be Slytherin. She was ambitious. The thought bothered him a little because it would expose him to more of his brother's pranks. Otherwise, she had no lessons with the Slytherin house. She shook her head slightly, as if trying to break away from these thoughts. Okay, that worked.

New Friend
Mark speaks | Mark's thoughts
Mark excitedly followed all of the other first years into the Great Hall. He looked around and was happy he was finally here. He knew he would be able to come to Hogwarts, but when he was younger he was worried that he wouldn't be able to.
He than looked over at the Hufflepuff table and saw his older brother James. He wondered if he'll be in the same house as him. But, if he was, he'll only be able to hangout with his brother until he's in his third year, since James is a sixth year.
Mark than began to think about which house he'd be in. "I'm pretty sure I'll be in either Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. But, I don't mind the other houses. If I do get into Hufflepuff, I definitely won't like the common room. James says that it's all yellow. I don't like yellow. But, I guess I'll be fine." Mark thought
He than looked forward and wondered how his seven years at Hogwarts would be. He knows that he'll be able to make friends threw out his years at Hogwarts and not just only in his house, but in different houses. He also knows that he'll be able to make friends that have different blood-status's. Not just pure-bloods or wizard borns.

New Friend
When Hera looked around, it wasn't hard to see a child as contemplative as she was. She went to her with the thought that he might be a friend.
As she got closer, she could see the boy in more detail. Shee was a boy with short messy black hair and brown eyes. She started talking with a smile.
"Hey are you exiceted? Which house would you like to be in?"
She just realized that he forgot to ask for his name. She wasn't used to these things as she wasn't a very talkative girl.
"Sorry. I forget the ask your name. My name is Hera. Hera Green. What about your name?"
While waiting for the answer to her question, she could not help but wonder when the Sorting ceremony would begin. She felt like she couldn't stand still.
"Oh, I wish the ceremony would start right away. İ'm so bored."
Today she felt more talkative than usual. She is not normally a very talkative person. So it bothered her a little.
Looking around again, she knew that the election ceremony would soon begin. Thinking about this created a feeling of excitement in Hera. She was a little excited as the time of the sorting ceremony was approaching.

Mark speaks | Mark's thoughts
Mark noticed a girl, his age, with long blonde hair and gray eyes walk up to him. He smiled at her and heard her speak. He than decided to answer, by saying,
"Yep! I'm definitely excited. But also nervous at the same time. Hmmmmm, either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff, since I see myself in those two houses more than the other two. How 'bout you?"
Mark now was curious what the girl would say. He wondered if they'll be sorted into the same house or not. But, he knew that he'll be fine with whatever house he got, but wondered if the girl was like him or not. Probably not though. Mark snapped out of his thoughts when she spoke again.
"It's ok, Hera. I'm Mark, Mark Myers. Nice to meet you, Hera." Mark says introducing himself to Hera and smiling at her.
Mark lightly laughed at what Hera said next, he knew she must be very impatient, but Mark liked the wait, it allowed him to think about the outcomes of the house's he might be sorted into. But, he also knew that a lot of people, like Hera, wanted to be sorted right away. But, Mark didn't mind the wait, so he said,
"Really? I don't mind the wait. I like it. It allows me to think about the possible outcomes for each house if I am to be sorted into one of them that I either want to be in, or not want to be in."
