Mark changed into a light blue shirt and dark blue jeans. He than put on his shoes and got his books that he needed to finish his homework. After he was ready, he left his dorm and walked into a classroom.

Mark sat down at a table that didn't have anyone there. Mark than took out his History of Magic books and began to do his homework. Mark only had History of Magic, Herbology, Potions, and Charms to do. But the rest he was done.

He only noticed that he was sitting at a table close to a girl who was sitting alone, when he looked up after he was all done his History of Magic homework. He put his stuff for History of Magic away and took out his Potions books and supplies.

"Should I talk to her? I mean, I should. But, she seems busy." Mark thought he than decided to say,
"Ummmmm, hi. Are you doing your homework to?"

Mark didn't know how the girl would react to what he just said. He just hopes that he didn't scare her at all. Especially since he thinks that he and the girl could be friends even though he just met her and probably scared her.

Mark speaks

Mark decided to do some more of his Potions homework before he heard the girl speak. He was glad he didn't scare her. Mark nodded than said,
"Oh cool. I'm currently doing my Potions homework. It's my second favorite subject. After I'm all done I'll do my Herbology and Charms homework."

Mark than began wondering if he should do that to, but he decided not to since he's fine with the way his homework is now. His teachers didn't say anything, probably because his handwriting wasn't messy, but it can be messy if he's rushing, but he doesn't always rush his homework. He only did once. Mark snapped out of his thoughts when the girl asked him what his favorite subject is. He smiled he than said,
"That's a great question. Mine is DADA. What's yours?"

Now Mark wanted to know what the girls favorite class was. He wondered if she also liked DADA. He than realized that the girl didn't introduce herself. He than thought,
"Hmmmmmmmmm, I think she wants me to introduce myself before she does. Well, in that case, I will. I was going to introduce myself any way's." Mark thought.

"I'm Mark, Mark Myers. First year and Hufflepuff. What about you?" Mark said introducing himself to the girl.

"Nice. I mostly do my homework when it's first assigned, or throw-out the week, but I also mostly do it during the weekends as well." Mark said

Mark than decided to finish off his Potions homework. He than put his Potions supplies away and got out his Charms supplies. He decided to do Charms first before doing Herbology since he could always ask his brother for help. He than looked back at the girl when she mentioned that her favorite subject was also DADA, this made him smile.

"Sweet. We both like the same subject. Honestly it was hard for me picking my favorite subject, but than I decided that DADA was my favorite and Potions became second." Mark says.

Mark did notice that Linda was wearing a Gryffindor emblem on her shirt, so he did assume she was in Gryffindor. He was glad he was right. He was happy when Linda was also a first year like him. He than said,
"Nice to meet you, Linda."

Mark than heard that Linda asked him to tell her a little bit more about himself. So he decided to keep it simply and say,
"Well, I'm a wizard born. I have an older brother, James Myers. He's a sixth year and in Hufflepuff. I was born in Preston, England. I love watermelon. My favorite color is blue. And my representation animal is a baby lion. What about you?"

Now he wondered how Linda would reply to what he had said. While waiting for her response, he began his Charms homework. He didn't have a lot to do. He just had to finish his essay than he would be done. Once he finished it, he put it away and took out his Herbology homework. He than began doing half of it before realizing that he should just finish it, which he did. Than he put it away.

Mark speaks

"Cool. I don't exactly like every subject, but I definitely like DADA, Potions, and Charms." Mark says

He than smiled at Linda. Indeed, he had seem the emblem on her shirt. And he thought that it was real, until he realized that she had drawn it. Mark was amazed with how real it actually looked. He knew that he wasn't able to do that.

"Sweet. My whole family wasn't only in one house. My father was a Gryffindor. My mother was a Ravenclaw. Honestly, I thought I'd be in Slytherin. But, I wasn't." Mark says

It was true though. Since his father, mother, and brother were sorted into three different houses, Mark had actually thought he'd be in Slytherin. That was until he realized that either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff will be a good house for him.

"That is very true. I also thought I'd be a Gryffindor. But, I guess I was told to be in Hufflepuff. But, I don't mind. But, I did want to be in Gryffindor." Mark says.

Now he wonders what response Linda will give him. Now since Mark had no homework to do, he realized that he and Linda were both just talking, which is fine with him, since he has nothing else to do today.

Mark speaks

"Sorta. I find the other subjects harder. I also sometimes fall asleep in History of Magic. Am I the only one?" Mark said answering Linda's question

Mark than began worrying that he was the only one who sleeps in History of Magic. He had a feeling that he wasn't the only one, but he wanted to know. Of course, he tried not to show him worrying, but he was quite sure that Linda has noticed that he is worrying.

"True, but am I told to get good grades. Honestly, I am. But, they won't be happy if I fail History of Magic. But, I'm quite sure they'll realize that I fell asleep. I really didn't mean to sleep in that glass though." Mark says.

But, his family loved him dearly, and he knew that nothing bad would happen to him, since he is trying his best for his family and they know that. Especially his brother who helps him mostly with his homework.

"That's really true. I like helping people, meeting new people, and I'm really nice. But, I'm also brave. So, I could be in both. But mostly Hufflepuff." Mark says agreeing with Linda.

"What do I like to do? Great question! Hangout with my brother, sometimes annoy him. Meeting new people. Trying new foods from different places. Learning new things. Hanging out with my friends. Going on adventures. And reading on magic and trying to create my own spells. I did this when I was younger. But, now I don't do it anymore. What about you?" Mark says answering her next question.
