"I am!" Montgomery applauded, pleased that his position was a recognisable one. As Maisy had said, it was no easy task - training to be an Auror was strict, rigorous, and definitely not for the weak of heart. Despite being extremely laid back now, Monty recalled that his starting week had been more than stressful.

"I think you'll do great, Maisy!" Constantine piped up, "Helping all those people, it's a really admirable job!" He smiled sincerely. Though the profession would vary, depending on if Maisy chose the muggle way, or a more magical route, the Hufflepuff didn't doubt for one second that Maisy could accomplish what ever she set her mind to.

"Quite." Adelaide assessed, bringing a cup of water to her lips. She set it aside, her fingers still tracing the rim of the glass. "What house are you in, Maisy?" The Slytherin prodded, "Not a Gryffindor, I hope." Adelaide jabbed, but Montgomery didn't bite as viciously as she'd wanted. "It doesn't matter. Whilst I like the people in my house, it wouldn't matter if she was Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin - I'd like her all the same." He said pointedly. None of the Babbitts had ever discriminated against anyone, let alone someone's Hogwarts house, so Montgomery was both confused and annoyed that she'd picked up this behaviour.

Maisy's cheeks brightened at Constantine's complimentary words, as she beamed brilliantly. It had always been an ambition of hers to help people somehow, but it was only after the last year, seeing the dangers magic posed, that she determined what might be her future. Though there was no real way to determine it, and she was young enough to change her mind, it brought her a great deal of joy to hear someone praise the choice as though it were an appropriate pick.

When Adelaide addressed her, her expression softened and she started the answer, before she went on to interject her opinion on the houses...

Blinking, Maisy stared for a moment, "O..oh. I don't really think any of the houses are altogether bad." She answered, thinnly, "I mean, I was picked for Slytherin and, well, I'm not exactly what one expects for a house of... their particular reputation, but having been there a year now, I don't think it's half so bad as people say. Gryffindor and Ravenclaw are nice, too. And Hufflepuff, of course." She added, looking to Constantine again.

"At the end of the day, Mum says it's always best to judge individuals... Rather easier to tell the wrong sort, when you narrow your view a touch."
