Lucinda is the kind of person who doesn't tolerate nor wants to tolerate people who are cruel to both animals and people. She is quick to make snide comments toward people who are willing to be the ones to start unwanted trouble with others when it is necessary to do so. But other than that, she is quite intelligent, crafty, and resourceful when need be. She is also kind to others she thinks deserve such treatment. Although, most of the time she is calm and quiet, unlike other children. Her hobbies mostly involve reading, taking care of animals, and watching her own mother work on potions which she sometimes helps too.

Lucinda was born into a middle-class family along with her two other siblings; Her 3-year-old younger sister, Celestia, and her 15 years older brother, Virgil. Her mother works at the Apothecary and her father is a famous author. Whenever her father was having writer's block, she would always be the one to give him suggestions and ideas. She seemed to always love to help her family whenever they need help.

When Lucinda was only 5 years old, she wanted her mother to read her a bedtime story. So after dinner, she rushed to the bookshelves, used the chair, and tried to climb the bookshelves to get the book that she wanted her mother to read. But when she got the book, the bookshelves were wabbling then they began to topple over. Seeing that her mother was washing the dishes, looked over and saw this particular occurrence. Her mother panicked, ran as fast as she could, dove forward to catch Lucinda, and tried to whip out her wand to stop the bookshelves from falling over. But before she could stop it, Lucinda was holding out her arms, making the bookshelves stop themselves causing her mother to be shocked.
