Background Story:
Flynn was born a half-blood and raised in England to a Scottish mother named Isla (witch) and a Nordic father named Erik (muggle). His parents work as a pairing with his mother being a modest and humble wandmaker and his father works as a lumberer both earning muggle money for the family and supplying Isla with the wood needed to make her wands. Isla was still experimenting with her trade and learning new tricks of the trade mainly maintaining people's wands for them. She only earns a modest income of galleons but it is enough for the family to live on and no one complains as they agree there are better things to do than dwell on what could be. He was an only child and thus spoiled with attention from his parents, who made sure to raise Flynn under the values of hard work and integrity. His first instance of magic came when his parents walked in on Flynn playing with his toys and saw Flynn sitting in the middle giggling as the rest of his toys had been floating around him dancing to entertain him, his parents both decided to raise him as a muggle, while his mother exposed him to aspects of the magical world.
Growing up, he always had an aptitude for sports, as he and his father bonded by playing games like rugby or football together. Meanwhile, his mother taught him the ins and outs of Quidditch. They both bonded over the various magical creatures in the world, which became a growing interest for Flynn over the years (his favourite has always been the bowtruckle).
As he grew up as a muggle, he attended muggle school, and while he made plenty of friends, he soon realised that his friendships would become distant as he moved to Hogwarts. However, he was hopeful that he would quickly make friends with the new family he joined.
His journey began at platform 9 3/4 where after a rushed goodbye to his parents Flynn had bumped into a girl his age and after a brief exchange the pair parted ways on the train settling in different compartments. Once arriving in the great hall the sorting hat made quick work of sorting Flynn into Hufflepuff, the same house his mum was once sorted into. now he is eagerly awaiting what happens next in his Hogwarts journey

Physical description:
Flynn Montgomery stands at a respectable 4 foot 10 inches slightly looking over those around him. his auburn hair looks brown unless caught in the sunlight where it displays his ginger tints which he keeps back in an unkept mullet courtesy of his Scottish mother. despite his taller frame, he has a slightly stockier build than someone of his size but he still looked like a slender body compared to his rugby-playing friends he grew up around. he can thank his father for his fair skin and blue eyes as, well as his freckle-free face despite his mother's sparse freckles dotted around her nose.
