Pre-Hogwarts History: Adelia Conrad was a pure-blood girl born in Ennis, Ireland. As an only child, she grew up learning magic from her magical parents. Eventually, at eleven years old, she received a letter from Hogwarts. Sorted into the house of Ravenclaw, Adelia's intelligence and maturity brought her to the top of all her classes. She was an incredibly talented student, and graduated at nineteen with exceptional grades. She came home to a proud family, who threw a celebratory party. There, she met Nathaniel Aspen, a rowdy, but sweet eighteen-year-old.
Nathaniel was the eldest of three boys, Nathaniel, Jensen, and Ferren. Nathaniel grew up with his muggle family in Westport, Ireland, but due to Ferren never being able to fit in and find friends, as well as Nathan and Jensen constantly begging to go to travel, the family moved to Ennis when Nathaniel was thirteen years old. His father found a new job, and the city streets became a common playground for the three boys. Nathaniel graduated the same year Adelia did, so he was invited to the graduation party thrown by Adelia's parents.
At first, Adelia believed the muggle-born Irish boy was too immature, but Nathaniel quickly pulled her into a more colorful world. From there the two became closer and closer, eventually marrying each other in 2004, ages twenty-four and twenty-three (Adelia was a few months older than Nathaniel).
On January 2nd, 2007, Adelia gave birth to a beautiful son, Ezekiel Brooke Aspen, or "Zeke". Adelia and Nathaniel were thrilled. Ezekiel was a smiley baby, but, like his father, was a bit rowdy. Sleepless nights, pacifiers, and constant laughter were big parts of Ezekiel's first year. Although it was hard, Adelia and Nathaniel couldn't be happier with their incredible son. As Ezekiel grew up, Adelia taught him manners and maturity, while Nathaniel taught him how to have fun. This teamwork began shaping Ezekiel into a fun-loving, responsible boy.
Adelia knew the moment she saw Ezekiel that he was magical. When Ezekiel turned four, Adelia began teaching her beloved son about magic. Spells, creatures and Adelia's wand were things Ezekiel became used to. He enjoyed watching his mother use magic, as well as listen to her stories of her years at Hogwarts. Ezekiel loved his parents, and couldn't be happier with his little family. That is, until he turned seven.
When Ezekiel was seven years old, his mother became ill. After a few days of increasing sickness and failed basic medication, Nathaniel took his family to a nearby hospital. Adelia was taken into the ER, and then to a regular hospital room. Over the span of a few months, Adelia remained in the emergency room, failing to recover from a sickness no one could name. Adelia never got better, eventually dying when Ezekiel was eight. On her death bed, Adelia held her son's hand, begging him to never let her death interfere with his happiness and success. In tears, Ezekiel and his father promised his dying mother they would continue on and make her proud.
Ezekiel stayed in his room for days. His grades at school began dropping, and his friends soon gave up on trying to help. Bullies began picking on Ezekiel, knowing he was weakened by grief. Ezekiel began begging his father to move, to start a new life. Nathaniel hesitated at first, then realized it would that both of them would be better off somewhere else. Besides, they had promised Adelia that they would move on, right?
Nathaniel believed that the beach would be the perfect place to move on. Ezekiel always wanted to go to the beach, so this felt like a good way to help get him back on his feet. So, they moved to Kilkee, a small town overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. As Nathaniel had hoped, Ezekiel slowly became himself again. His grades increased, he began making a few friends, and eventually he was smiling again.
Ezekiel has received a letter from Hogwarts, and has began preparations for his new life in a new place. Nathaniel's overwhelming support for his son has encouraged Ezekiel to continue strong, despite his mother's death. Now eleven years old, Ezekiel Brooke Aspen is determined to make his mark on the world. After all, he promised his mother, And one should never break a promise.

EZEKIEL'S RELATIONSHIPS
Nathaniel Aspen: Ezekiel's muggle father; lives at home in Kilkee, Ireland. Nathaniel works as a wood carver in Kilkee, providing for both him and his son. Nathaniel is the closest person to Ezekiel. Nathaniel Aspen is now thirty-eight years of age, as of June 16th.
Adelia Aspen: Ezekiel's deceased magical mother; died in 2015 of an unnamed illness. From the time Ezekiel was four, Adelia taught him about magic and wizardry until her death. Ezekiel and his mother were extremely close, and Ezekiel says they still are.
Baxter and Bailey Borne: Twin brothers; close friends of Ezekiel living in Kilkee, Ireland. Baxter and Bailey are Ezekiel's only friends, and they often write letters when separated. The three boys hit it off as soon as they met (soon after Ezekiel moved to Kilkee and began recovering from his grief), and their shenanigans to this day are Nathaniel's biggest worries, but biggest laughs as well. Baxter and Bailey Borne are both twelve years of age.
Sonya Carlson: Ezekiel ran into Sonya, a First-Year Hufflepuff, at the Hogwarts library. They had bonded over a book they had read millions of times before Hogwarts, as well as the loss of both of their mothers. That connection created a spark between the two. They are now friends, despite only meeting once.
