Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
Bea watched as her spell hit again. Somehow her luck was actually good this match! She smiled as fire spread across Amaris' body. It was strong the spell. She could feel the heat from across the piste. A small laugh left her mouth as delight rippled down her spine. She felt electrified, her nerves standing on end.
Just as the sense of accomplishment settled in her chest, she saw Amaris cast her own spell in retaliation. Bea felt her eyes widen and before she could yell out to Oliver to dodge, it hit its mark. She cast a quick eye over Oliver to make sure he was okay before curling her lip at her opponents. Seems they weren't going down without a fight.

The piste’s lit up once again with two more spells from what seemed to be the champions of the stage right now, Amaris and Beatrice. The two girls both casted their spells, Amaris going for the unmoving Oliver, and Bea going for the other caster herself.
Bea’s spell hit once again, with a tough blow to Amaris. The gryffindoor girl didn’t seem to have amazing luck though, because Oliver still managed to dodge that spell with whatever he was planning in his head for why he had stayed unmoving.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
Taizu shook his head. What had happened to him? He'd been about to send off his spell, and now... His teammate had been hit by several spells. What had he been doing? Shameful. Absolutely Shameful. That he would let his ally get hurt like this and not even notice. With a curse, Taizu said, "Forgive me, Amaris. I've grown stagnant in this match. It won't happen again." Turning towards his opponents, Taizu readied himself.
"Oh Gods, I set the water on fire again."

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
It seemed both sides were matched at least for partners. Something was off with them both not being able to cast spells today. Was it nerves? At least hers was good at dodging. Bea smirked towards Amaris. The poor girl was suffering. Waving a friendly, if sarcastic hand at the girl, Bea crooned out, "Having a hard time there Amaris? At least my partners being useful."
Bea narrowed her eyes at Amaris' partner in question. He seemed to under some sort of mental blank. At least now he was coming out of it. Bea sighed annoyed. Just as it was becoming easy. Turning to Oliver, she snapped her fingers to get his attention. "Come on Oliver. Let's finish them."

Amaris Levine
In truth, Amaris was frustrated with how much her spells were missing, just what was wrong with her? The girl nodded, “Good, alright”, relieved as Taizu seemed to be refocusing on the duel. She scowled at Beatrice. “Hey, at least mine has actually tried to cast a spell.” she shot back.

Aflame from Incendio
Taizu seemed to have gotten back in the game this round, impressing everyone with a cast against Oliver, sending the poor boy an unfriendly and fire-y gift. The ravenclaw boy was not able to dodge it this time around. Bea, however, took this quite personally and hit Taizu with her own spell, effectively hitting him with a smart Rictusempra.
Unfortunately Amaris wasn’t there to see Taizu’s cast. The girl had been so exhausted from Bea’s previous charm that she had been knocked out. Alma gave a sympathetic wince before moving to the next round - the duel must go on.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
Bea gritted her teeth as she watched Taizu fire his spell. She could feel the heat from the Incendio from where she was standing and she winced for poor Oliver. His luck was just about out. No more dodging for him. Bea gave her younger teammate a sympathetic smile and gave a thumbs up. Ravenclaw would win this duel. Bea was determined for that to be the case.
Just as she was about to retort the fact to Amaris, Bea watched as the other girl basically passed out in front of her. Probably due to the Incendio. It seemed fire was winning this duel more than anything else. Raising her wand, she fired back her own spell, but instead of Amaris as she had been aiming for before, she aimed it at Taizu, the quiet and mysterious partner. "I hope you've got some fire left in you Taizu. It's just a pity for you that Ravenclaw is going to win this duel!"A snarky smile graced her lips as she watched Taizu get hit with her own tickling spell. He might be laughing from magic, but her own laugh was pure competitive glee.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
Taizu was not having a good time. He'd been fading in and out of focus, not sure of what was happening. How humiliating. He vaguely registered his partner falling down, and he didn't really even notice his own success in his previous attack. With a glare, Taizu looked at Beatrice and growled in frustration.
"Oh Gods, I set the water on fire again."

Beatrice vs. Taizu
ReducioBea cast Incendio Duo at Taizu
Wisdom DC: 12
Wisdom Check: [d20: 8] + 10 = 18 > 9 → Success
Accuracy Check: [d20: 12] + 6 = 18
Evasion Check: [d20: 20] + 8 = 28

Taizu vs. Beatrice
ReducioTaizu cast Flipendo at Beatrice
Wisdom DC: 9
Wisdom Check: [d20: 9] + 8 = 17 > 9 → Success
Accuracy Check: [d20: 12] + 5 = 17
Evasion Check: [d20: 2] + 6 = 8
Damage: 100 + 11(arc) × 10 = 210
With Amaris out of the duel, Taizu was all on his own. This wasn’t all bad however, as he was able to dodge Beatrice’s spell easily and immediately cast one of his own - this one seemed to hit Bea pretty hard, the force of the flipendo knocking her back with Taizu’s powerful ability.
This wasn’t the best round for the Ravenclaw team, considering Taizu was able to dodge Beatrice’s spell and cast another against her and Oliver was still sadly quite out of it at the moment. One could only hope for their luck to turn next round.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor: Match 1
Good grindylows! What was this round?? Bea felt like it had gone pear-shaped. The flipendo had hurt, but what hurt more was the fact that her own spell had missed. Bea felt like grindylows should come and drag her into the depths for that. There was still time for her team to salvage things but it was becoming a close gap now. Eyeing Oliver, she nudged him. "C'mon Oliver. Get ye head in the game. We've got to win this."
