The "Death" Witch And The Hunter
Eri frowned and rubbed her head in confusion. "Sorry I'm confusing myself." She put her hand back down. "I don't know if this has any symbolic meaning to you, but.. please don't hit me with your slingshot for this. I have my only hunting knife in in a little sheath just above my right ankle." She gestured towards the tiny impression of something underneath the last six inches of her jeans. " You can have it. Just please don't shoot me." There was fear in her voice every time she asked him not to shoot her. She really didn't mean any harm.
Eri kept her hands far away from the nice unless he asked her to give it to him. It was worth a shot and truly it was her only hunting knife or knife in general and she was hoping that may help her out. If not she probably looked more like a threat than she wanted to.
She just hoped that she could figure out how to mend a friendship with him, but it probably wouldn't happen. If she couldn't patch that friendship with a Kaegen then she couldn't patch that friendship with Eris, but she could try and hope it works.

Symbolic meaning? What kind of symbolic meaning did a knife even have? She offered him the blade, but he really didn't know what to think. It was nice that she was offering a blade to him, he loved knives. But she hadn't been making any sense at all this entire time, and when Kaegen got confused, he got scared. Very scared. So he walked backwards faster. His mind was telling him to just go take the knife, to just go and see what the death witch had to say. But he couldn't do that. No way. Not when nothing made sense.
After he made it a safe distance from the girl, he turned and ran away without a word, running as fast as he could to try and escape the nebulous fog of confusion that seemed to follow this girl wherever she went. They had agreed to not listen to her, but then she had said she was confusing herself by confusing him, or something like that. Whatever she was talking about, he sure as heck didn't know. And he didn't even care any more.
He was scared and wanted to go away, wanted to go somewhere where nothing was going to confuse him, or hurt him. Somewhere simple.

Eri frowned as he ran away. She just hoped he wouldn't set traps to try to kill her. For now she just needed to sit alone by herself in peace. Though she was pretty sure Kaegen still viewed her as a confusing death witch, but hopefully some day she would be able to change his mind about her, but if not that hopefully will not come back to bight her in the future.
The brunette sat back down next to the water and looked back into its glassy surface. For now she was just trying to make sure she would survive the school year. Hopefully nothing to drastic would happen and no more people would get hurt.
The girl threw a rock in to the water and watched the ripples float across the surface and frowned she really just needed to cool down and stop dwelling in her mistakes of the past. Though she probably thought way to much about things and just needed to forget what happened.
Eri got up and made her way towards the castle and up to her dorm room where she wanted nothing more than to fall asleep and forget about what happened this early time of day.
