In any other context, she would have felt embarrassed. Relying on others was not something Lea was used to, and certainly not from others that seemed her age or younger. But in this case, simple instructions to follow and concentrate on took her mind away from repeating the same panicked thought over and over again. Her mind was still split, though. On one hand, slowly descending and reaching the comforting land was nice and would get her out of this stressful situation. On the other, focusing on the ground highlighted the difference in height that Lea didn't want to think about.

"Alright. Thanks." Brown eyes still focused on the ground, tense from both stress and focus. But the Hufflepuff seemed a little better? Her breathing was no longer as shaky, purposefully slowed down. It gave her a small sense of control along with the hesitant trust that Ethan wouldn't just drop her. He didn't seem the type. She winced, registering that her antics took away from his own flying practice. Lea realized this earlier, but this moment cemented the fact as her broom continued down towards the ground and he offered soft encouragement. She finally pulled her attention away from the earth below, peering at him with a small frown.

"Are you alright with helping me out? I realize that this is a little more than pointers now and don't want to take away from your own practice if you'd rather do that." While Lea still wanted the additional help, she figured that even if he said no the Hufflepuff would be able to figure it out. It'd just take a little longer- that wasn't too bad, right?
